I thought I would stop by to say hi and see if any of the gang had checking in yet from barcelona! I did just realize that I missed a huge DIS opportunity....I mean, I could have caught up on so much and done so much planning while I was stuck in bed for the past weeks! Oh well....
Hope everyone is good. I am hanging in there and slowly (did I say SLOW?) recovering. Really hoping that I am back to normal in 21 days when we hit the road for 2 weeks at WDW...visiting with great friends and renewing our vows. I keep shaking pixie dust whenever I can just to make sure!
Oh, and I can say...I am so glad football season is back...I just love Sundays in the fall!

I cannot believe that it's two weeks from us leaving for Florida and I have not even started thinking about what to pack. I've got a lot of attention going to Tom since he's here and I have no time left for me. I might have to start packing now....late at night....in order to get it done. I'm not used to working with distractions. Then I have to do the "glam" prep. I'll probably go and get everything done this week. It's going to be very busy these next two weeks.

We told Tom that he's not permitted to stay at our house while we're gone. So he will be travelling to Florida with us. We'll drop him off at his mom's. He can stay there for the three weeks that we'll be down there. Then he'll drive home with us. I told him we still have trust issues because of the last time he stayed here. There are clearly defined boundaries now....he's on a short leash. The good news is that he's doing great. He really has put his heart into it and he's trying to do his best. That's awesome!

He'll probably appreciate coming back to stay with you even more after

Hi Kaylee, good to see you over here again. What date are you renewing your vows? Me and John will be down there and if we are available we would love to come and watch you and Scott renew your vows. We won't be able to stay long, but just long enough to watch the ceremony. Let us know. We would love to see you and the family.

mom has a infection - sadly the way my sister's deal with this is so different than the care that Lee and I provided - but this is why I'm happy mom doesn't know the difference of who is caring for her. just sad

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I didn't even turn my computer on all weekend. I'm happy to say we got lots of stuff done at the old house. We are taking care of Ken's dad/stepmom's dog while they are gone, and so we had him with us at the old house this weekend. It made things quite interesting as he followed me everywhere.

Good Morning Friends....I'm job hunting with Tom today since I have the car and he doesn't. We're going to the agencies to register and keep our fingers crossed that someone is hiring. He's got little experience and only a high school education so he's limited....but he'll take anything so we shall see. Wish us luck!

We are home... and we are happy to be...

it's nice to visit family... but after a couple of days you just want to come home to your own bed and all...

Had a great time with Will... he is ALMOST as tall as I am...

I got in trouble because I showed him about the disboards and he wanted to join the teen boards... My SIL is getting crabby and doesn't want him looking at anything, even though I can monitor him. (I believe menopause is involved... )

I have a picture or so to put up, maybe tomorrow... too tired tonight...

Sad night tonight...

Came home to find out that one of my friends from High School, Kathy, Passed away today... she is the one who had the brain tumor that was discovered a few months ago. She had a brave fight and her family was with her always.

I'm still shocked... and sad... even when you know it's close...
