Thanks Jackie. I can see John in that hammock already. The inside/outside makes the whole thing seem bigger. Most cabanas are usually small. That's why they limit them to six people....most likely. I like them. I think with all the perks that comes with them....it's worth it with a share. I'm going to try to get one for October. We'll post videos too if we do.

I think I was expecting the inside to have a table and chairs (not a couch and chairs), as I think some of the early info indicated that or maybe one of the artist renderings. :confused3 Hope you are able to get one and test it out for all of us! :thumbsup2

Deb...

and anyone else going over to the port area... Shirley has posted a warning..

*_PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!!!!!!!_*

As of this morning and being out and about as I usually am everyday, You have to know that the police cars are out in full force - _YOU MUST OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT OR YOU ARE GOING TO BE STOPPED AND FINED - THERE ARE NO WARNINGS._
This morning over 10 cars were stopped within a short distance of each other.

*Now when you see the port and the ships, go over the overpass, the speed limit drops from 55 miles to 45 miles in the blink of an eye - start slowing down way before that so you won't be caught speeding ok.*Now consider yourself warned

OK that is all I had to say ;-)

So....I fell asleep earlier while watching football games and now I'm wide awake. I get my best naps during football season. haha.

I have just three weeks until we leave and I'm thinking about packing already. I'm leaning towards taking two weekender bags and forgetting about the big suitcase. I have all short intervals on this trip....4 nights at WDW, 4 nights on a cruise, 3 nights on a cruise, 5 nights at WDW and 2 nights in Ft. Lauderdale. As long as it's clean, I can repeat clothing. I can do laundry if needed before or after cruise. Since we're driving not flying, I think it might be easier for handling in and out of the car.

We're going to Ft. Lauderdale to see John's step brother. He has some personal items to give John from his Dad who passed away nearly 20 years ago. They came into Henry's posession when his mother passed....John's step mom, who John was never close with. She and John's Dad moved to Albequerque when John's kids were little. So they lost touch with each other. But John's Dad was a retired NY police officer in Nassau County Long Island. Henry has John's Dad's shield to give to John. It means a lot to John and he would like to have it. Henry always intented to mail it to us, but never did. Now we're planning on sharing a meal with him at his house before heading home. Now it will happen. So we're going to Ft. Lauderdale too.

How very special about John's Dad's shield. :goodvibes

OK...not insane, the DCL video with the 'mock up' cabin did have a round table and chairs inside...something I personally would prefer. Easier to eat, can play a game of cards while taking a break from the sun etc.

Popping on to say hello!

Congrats Monica on your 5k! :cool1:

Ken & I are now moved over to his parents place until we go into our new house. And we have wireless internet again, so I might manage to get on her more regularly!

Life has been crazy busy trying to get the old house ready to sell. Everything is taking us longer than expected. And of course weather hasn't cooperated. We are starting to see an end at least, but it'll probably be 2 more weekends going down there (one to finish the reno work, and one to finish cleaning!).

I'm really enjoying the new job and now I must get moving so I can get to it.

Hope you are all doing great. I'm hoping to get online tonight :goodvibes

Hi Shannon! Glad everything's going so well! :goodvibes

Feel like I've missed a bunch . . .39 pages since I check LATE last night . .

Just wanted to let y'all know that I finally got my door magnet printed . . YEAH! All the bags are packed (except my morning routine stuff) . . .we're out of here in the morning and headed across the pond . .:banana::banana:

See ya soon!

The mice are back. :sad1: The cat's been trying to get into my cabinets under the sink for a few days, so I was wondering. I just stuck something heavy in front of the cabinet doors so he can't get in there. But tonight I heard noises coming from the kitchen counter area and it wasn't the cat because he was at the other end of the house. :sad2: I'm not sure I can handle this again. It took about 4 months to get rid of them last winter. Now I can't eat anything or use any plates or glasses because I'll be worried mice were crawling over them. So tomorrow on my lunch hour I'll be going out to buy a ton of enclosed mouse traps so the cat won't get hurt (I have one leftover from last time that I already put out there tonight), and will start tearing the kitchen apart and cleaning and disinfecting tomorrow night after work.

It's bad enough that I've been struggling to get control of the house, trying to get it cleaned up for about a year, which of course doesn't help the current situation, but knowing they're back made me cry. I'm glad Tyler's gone because he definitely would be freaked out about going through this again. I suppose the upside is that this is definitely motivation to get cleaned up. I absolutely can't avoid it any longer. This is disgusting.

I thought about throwing a bunch of poison under the crawl space, because my mom is convinced that must be where they're coming in, but if one eats the poison and for some reason still comes in the house, and if the cat bites into him, I wonder if he'd get poisoned? Probably should just stick with traps to be on the safe side.

Please wish me luck. I hate to whine about it again, but it's almost more than I can bear. :guilty:

Hi Shannon!!!!! Welcome back!!!!! We have missed you!!!!!!! It sounds like you have everything under control even though it's very chaotic right now. I'm so glad you like your new job too. Good Luck with everything and getting into your new home soon. It looks lovely. I saw pics from the MLS listing on FB.....very nice.

I believe you also had a birthday somewhere along the way......so happy birthday, week, month.....or as Jan says, Season!!!!!!!

::yes:: its my birthday month, but I'm postponing my birthday until I have time to enjoy it. The actual day is this Saturday and Ken & I will be busy working on the old house, and the girls will be off camping with my parents.

The mice are back. :sad1:

Sorry to hear the mice are back, and I'm feeling way out of the loop. When did you get a cat???

Holly, don't torture yourself again over this. I have the rat poison all over my house and I have a cat and a dog. It's fine. I don't have any more mice. When I get one, I pick up the old poison (they're like blocks) and put down new ones and that's it. They're gone! I have never seen a dead one yet. They crawl off and look for water and die outside in their search. Really, it's safe and easy to use. Try it!!!!!!

Well it's a good month to have a birthday.....John and I picked this month to have our wedding. It's a great month!!!! I agree....wait until you can take time out and enjoy your birthday celebration. Saturday will be no fun at all, but necessary.....so just push it off a little. That's a great idea.

Hi Karl....my cat doesn't eat it. I've been using it for years and it works. I've had the cat for about 3 years and she is just fine. She wants nothing to do with it. We got it at an Agway store locally and they said no problems with cats and dogs. I hide it under the furniture and in the corners of all the rooms, but the cat could eat it if she wanted to....she just doesn't.
