Isn't Paul great...I really enjoyed that tour (and got a lovely cheek-kiss at the end!)

OK...I'm off to facebook to see your bird do-do picture! :lmao:

We have Paul booked for September. He is soooo bad a keeping in touch so i keep worrying he won't be there.:lmao:

I saw Deborah's photo on FB, and only saw her assets!!!;)

Marilyn, the birdydoo landed right between her assets. I thought Deborah wanted to show us her new necklace or something until I read about what it was.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Michelle - Where are you staying and when are you coming in?

Planning on the Grand Cal and will be coming in the Sat before we cruise...

Not sure we are booking anything yet Deborah. We would have to book during the TA in September, though lovely Deb has offered to do that for us. We don't have much onboard credit for the PC this time, and we have done Palo lots now, and aren't as bothered. I think I would rather go up to Topsiders for an odd night.

Might book High Tea if possible so we can take tea with Cheri at last. As long as she doesn't break anything this time.;)

Thanks Deb. :thumbsup2

Last September we had added Cheri to our High Tea booking, and were waiting outside Palo for her to join us. She came, pushing through the group to tell us she had slipped and fallen the day before(I think) and possible broken her arm and couldn't manage to join us. It did turn out she had actually broken it. Now I think more about it I think it was Brunch, but never mind. We will do tea one day.

We do have to be careful, particularly as we get older.

I'm thinking of wrapping the QM in bubble wrap... different colors on different days just to mix things up a bit... :rotfl:

Me too! LOL!!!!!!! Poor Deborah! That happened to me when I was about 8, but it was right on top of my head. I'd just come out of the shower about 10 minutes beforehand, and I had really long hair that was a pain to wash, so I cried, and all 3 step-siblings laughed at me! We still laugh about it! :rotfl2:

I shared a link on FB, but didn't want to share any details because it involves an ex-boyfriend who is a FB friend, and I don't want to make his wife mad by clarifying that I'm a former girlfriend, LOL! But one of my favorite past boyfriends is in a movie coming out this month. It's not a big name movie, just a small production, filmed in Michigan. It's a modern day Robin Hood story, and he plays Little John. He's also in a small local band and has an awesome voice. In fact, he wrote a couple of songs for me when we were together and used to sing them to me while playing his guitar. :cloud9: We're too different to ever have lasted, but we email frequently to stay in touch as friends. He told me the movie will be out near my birthday, and I was surprised and touched he even remembers my birthday. ;)

Everybody laughs at others who are bird pooped on, but I could cry when it happens to me and hate being laughed at.:sad2:

Well that will be a film you will be going to see. It sounds interesting, and your ex BF is a goody in it so that is much better than being a baddy!

I'm sure some of you will see it on FB already...

My Uncle Frank passed away this morning... I'm sure it was peaceful... I'm happy to think that his mom met him on the other side... maybe even my dad...

Headed to Jersey in the next couple of days.

So sorry Michelle :grouphug:

It would be an expense, but I really encourage you guys to consider the dinner and preferred seating package that we (Bubba, V, Ian & I) got for WOC. Our dinner res was 7:10 and we asked for tickets to the second WOC show. If you could get your dinner res a little later it would work out perfect. The first show was 9, second 10:15. I think the second show is better, even though it's later, because the preferred viewing section was not at all crowded, the line for it was small and we didn't have to wait in line as long as the people who just had fast passes for the same color area.

The WOC show is pretty long, over 20 min, maybe 25, so the turn-around is a bit of a crunch. They have to exit the 4000 (the number I've heard) who saw the show, clean up, then let in the next 4000 for the next show. My experience has been that by the time you get to where you're going to watch the show, you have about 20 min. to stand and wait 'till it starts.

Another reason to go for the dining is that it'll save you some big chunks of time that you'd have to spend waiting in line for FPs for it over in CA and waiting in line for the show. (If you just have a FP (not preferred viewing) you have to line up at least an hour before your show starts, maybe more if you want to be at the front of your line (which is a good idea) and you stand the whole time you're in line, plus you stand once you get in the viewing area and during the show--wear comfy shoes!). Since you have a limited amt. of time to see DL, I think it's worth the $$, if you can do it, to "buy" yourself more time to spend there.

The day we saw WOC Ian & I got to DL fairly early, not right at opening, and we were able to get a FP for Space Mt., do the subs, & several things in FL before it got too crowded. We were on the go the whole day, up until we had to go over to CA for dinner, but we saw quite a bit. Ian, Bubba, V, chime in with your perspective on that day. We were really whipped by the end, but we got in a lot!:thumbsup2

Hello all

I just wanted to chime in with Cheri about WOC. YES the dinner package is SO worth it. The meal was excellent (as was the company) I chose the 7:10 dinning time as I was told that they would not seat outside on the patio after 7:30 but groups were seated well past that time outside. Just make sure you tel your server that you want the 10:15 show time. I made this request when I made the ADA's but the hostess said we were for the early show. But I said no way and the server said that it we no problem as they had a stack for each show. I know the price seems steep but what you get is well worth it. When we went to get on our line there were just a couple of people/groups ahead of us. And there were benches to sit while we waited. Were able to get right at the rail in the preferred section whichyou really need so you can see the show head on. So just my thoughts. Enjoy if you go.

Marilyn the ressies can be made 60 days out.

Kathe - do you want to do the WOC dinner package? Check it out and let me know.

Anyone else considering doing the WOC on the 25th?

Thanks Cheri and V for all of the great info :thumbsup2

Gydell, I'll check it out when I get a little bit of time (Serenity will be arriving any minute now for the weekend so I'll be busy for a few days)! It does sound like a great plan, doesn't it? DL will be very busy I expect since it's Easter weekend, we may be ready to escape and have a sit down dinner to rest up! The show sounds amazing :goodvibes

Welcome home Deborah!!!

Sorry about the bird.... I suppose it would be wrong of me to ask for a link to the pic of your assets:rolleyes::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sorry everyone laughed! My kids still remember the day at Storybook Gardens when a bird pooped on my shoulder, and yes, they laughed too, still do

Really, was that on the second part of the B2B with Tortola? I had no idea that she broke anything. We're going to have to watch her and Vicki very closely. Those two are trouble. haha.:laughing:

I'm glad everything is fine now and I hope you get that High Tea together this trip.

Yes, it was definately the second week of the B2B. I remember this well, but I didn't know that Cheri had actually broken her arm. Cheri :confused3 I remember how sore she was

And I also remember that Vicki broke a toe that week! Better than her wrist of course

Sorry for your lost Michelle

Sadness and loss her in San Jose too :sad1:

My grandpuppy, Kelsey (Casey's daughter) at age 15 has passed also.

This is Kelsey with her little boy Brian - he was our ring bearer in our wedding. His mom, Laura, a brides maid. Laura and I figured Brian needed a dog and having the perfect pet Casey we roamed the state to find her a stud. We did and Kelsey was the pick of the litter of six.

Such fond doggie memories :lovestruc

Ahhh Nan, sending hugs :grouphug:

Just passing. Speak for yourself :dance3:

No, I speak for all us geezers!!!!;)

Cheri didn't find out till she got home and had an xray and examination.

I can't remember Vicki breaking her toe:confused3
