Who says you wont be able to swim? You never know till your on the ship. I think they do heat the pool, don't they? And you could have perfect weather.....

Well, it was too cold to swim the end of May once we got close to CA on the PC repo, and I know Alaska is much colder than CA! Even if they do heat the pool, the air would be too cold. There's ICE in that water the ship's going through! BUT......I'm glad we're going in May because somebody at work who has been on many Alaska cruises says their rainy season starts the beginning of June and the weather isn't very nice then. AND I'm excited because she told me she's found every time that the outer passage is very rough water. Woohoo!!!! That's what I love!

I took the last 2 days off work, and got a couple projects finished off at home. My leg slowed me down a little, and I didn't go to soccer yesterday, but should be back playing again next week.

Been getting things ready for our annual camping trip with my family, which will be happening this weekend (long weekend for us!).

Is Monday a stat in BC? It is a civic holiday here. We are lucky that the company still agrees to pay it as a stat, but we are open regular hours and get paid at the regular rate if we have to work it, which I do

Three years ago today I lost mom. She was in the Hospice for 4 days. I remember leaving the Hospice at 11:30 pm and running home to get online here. At midnight I booked my Halloween cruise ressies. It's strange the things you remember as time goes on.

I'm remembering mom all day today. I miss her a lot.
