When we were on the Baltic cruise there were people having the desk book there ressies. There was even a man at Palo's having them book Palo's for them.

Were they doing Magic to Magic? I'm doing Wonder to Dream. But I'll give it a try. I'm only booking Palo on that cruise. I'll see if they can help. Thanks Gydell.

Shannon & Ken, are you guys thinking of doing any kayaking excursions on the Alasak cruise?

.

Thanks for the early morning laugh, Marilyn!

Here's one of my horse betting stories. Went to the track with some girlfriends (one of whom had just found out she was pregnant). We got their just a few minutes before the first race, so several of them ran to the windows to make a bet. I went to take a look at the horses (I like to see them first) and when the girls joined me I asked if anyone had bet on #6. The preggers friend said she had and I said "Good, because he is going to win" They laughed at me, and asked why and I said because he had a good attitude! Anyway, he won and when I asked my girlfriend why she had bet on him she said just because of his name.....Dirty Diaper! That was our scientific theory for picking the winner. :rotfl:

.

OK...here's another one.

Went to the track with friends when money was very tight. Had enough for my admission, chipping in a dollar for parking, money for ONE beer and enough for ONE bet. I was there to just be with my friends and have a nice afternnon for not much money. As I was looking over the names of horses for all the races I spotted my winner....CHICKEN LEG. As the fried chicken lover that I am, I knew he was the one! He was a long shot and I made a bet on him to win. He did and my winnings covered my expenses with enough left over for a hot dog! :lmao:

.

(I think Jackie's a bookie on the side... :rolleyes1)

Needs repeating!!! Love the new pics! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Well.. I got up today, went to Olivers... solo, because mom isn't home until tomorrow... came home and fought with my computer for over an hour because it hates to open lately... and I took my regular allergy meds... (Claratin D 12 hour...) it's not supposed to make me loopy, but it did. Not sure why... so I had to go and lay down until it passed...

Now I have to go figure out dinner and clean the house. Fun stuff...

Ohhh and Jackie... I dated the high school bookie... that's how I know how to read the racing form... :rotfl2:

.......
Looking for a creative/practical way to organize all the little things lying around in the living room, things I can't throw away because they're things Tyler uses, but I can't handle them lying around all over the tables and surfaces any longer. Maybe some stackable plastic bins of some sort.

I can't wait to show before/after pics when I'm done. Tyler's room was a drastic change, the rest of the house will be shocking too when I'm done. :yay: It feels SO good to finally be regaining control over the mess! :dance3:

How about a trip to STAPLES for office supplies that might stack those items? Bed Bath and Beyond drives me nuts because I cannot find a thing, but they might have something. This is the kind of shopping I LIKE to do. Tom calls it SEARCH AND RESCUE. There is a purpose that needs to be addressed!

Looking forward to photos!

I'm sorry I go on and on about this cleaning business, but once you see the "before" pics, you'll understand why I was so overwhelmed for a while and why it's such a big deal for me to finally be taking care of it. :goodvibes

I honestly can't understand how I let things get so out of control. Yuck.

I think the beauty of this groups is that we rejoice at each other's successes and cry at each other's pain. You are sharing successes. WE LOVE IT ! :thumbsup2

Marilyn - love the Zen teachings!:lmao:

The pictures out on the water look great. How wonderful.

Ken, you'd hardly know that that photo was taken in a foreign country.

Well, you can't tell me that you aren't fitter zooming around like this every weekend instead of sleeping it away!!!!

Doesn't seem right to me either, but I weigh myself every week at the YMCA and that number on the scale doesn't want to go down. BUT I'm not watching what I eat, so that's a big problem. I'll worry about it later.

Good idea Jan, thanks! :thumbsup2 I've heard IKEA has good things for organizing. I've never been, but am considering going this weekend to see what we can find.

I'm sure we'll look at it. We're still nervous to start planning too much in case we don't end up going due to job situation.

Very well said ::yes::

The pictures out on the water look great. How wonderful.

Ken, you'd hardly know that that photo was taken in a foreign country.

It was a new lake we went to, and it was fantastic. Had to go through a little marshy area and then you got back into a smaller lake area where no power boats can get at. We saw lots of ducks, some geese, a bald eagle, tadpoles, and snails.:thumbsup2

Better a POSER than a HOSER , eh!

somedays he is a hoser! :goodvibes

OK......I've got some bad news AND good news!

Here's a hint: Marilyn......Cheri......I'm sorry! Deb, Monica, Jackie, Nan, Kathe, Cheri, and a whole ton of other people I'm forgetting....................................

Well......I'll bet you can guess!
