Good thing is wasn't very crowded. I went and sat in an empty part of the waiting area, well away from everyone, but wouldn't you know it, a flatulent loon came and sat down a chair away from me and decided she needed to have a chat.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm VERY tired...I said that already right? I had to read this twice to make sure I had actually read these words :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Prayers please for my nephew Ian - he's having an MRI done right now to see if a pollup in his nose is something sinister or not. They will also be doing a biopsy. He went thru a sweat test on Wednesday to rule out Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

I'm heading up to MD tonight after work (was already planned for his bday before the tests came up).

Will do, Monica. I hope it ends up being nothing.

I picked a beautiful hot sunny summer day to be off work today :thumbsup2

So far I've had a toilet installed, mowed the grass, front and back, and have done some weeding . I dragged the ladder outside and washed all of my windows. I then went to a couple of stores to look for clothes but had no luck. Sara is coming over soon and we are going for a walk.

I hope later on, when it's cooled off a bit, to bbq dinner, and plant a couple more flowers in my garden. I'm beginning to feel like this though :faint:
Wow! An exhausting, but productive day! :goodvibes

Well... I woke up this morning with that :headache: pain again... that I really haven't had in a couple of weeks...:woohoo: But I had to take something... and missed most of this beautiful summer day that Kathe had...:headache: (and I had fix my toilet on the list too...:rotfl:)
Well, I'm glad you at least had a break from the pain. That's not something I've heard in a very long time.

I finally got my driver's license renewed today. It expires on my birthday in August.

I went to an express location down in the Loop. Not too bad, considering I had to walk from my office to the Secretary of State location, take the eye exam, get a photo, and then walk back.

I managed to do it all in about an hour.

She spoke something that might have been English, I'm not sure. I told her that I couldn't understand her unless she spoke clearly. I believe she wanted money for her driver's license.

I told her it wasn't my role in life to hand out cash. Then I found myself wondering, "They let people like this drive?"

There was some big to-do later one, because they had to have a manager come and speak to the loon.

I just want to know why I attract these people?

Ken, have you tried a Tim Horton's in the U.S.? I ask because our Canadian lawyer at work says they're awful compared to the ones in Canada. He says it's just not the same quality and totally different. And here I was, thinking they're the best donuts I've ever had (I have a favorite I get a couple mornings on the way to work). Just wondering what you think.

Sorry... I only have 4 dunkin donuts in town... can't help you... :confused3

Well...duh, you're not in Canada! That's why I asked Ken because I know he eats Canadian Tim Hortons. ;)

You might remember me mentioning we have frequent donuts at work. One guy always buys them from Tim Hortons, one from a local bakery, and one (the 82 year old guy) always gets Dunkin' Donuts. Whenever he gets them, I relax because I know I'll have NO PROBLEM resisting. Yuck. They're always dry and hard to swallow. I can't stand them.

Off to bed. I'm worn out after taking apart Tyler's loft bed. Whew! That was hard work, especially when it came to the point where I had to balance the biggest part on my head while unscrewing some of the bolts. :rotfl2: Heavy too. Tomorrow will be even harder because I'm determined to get his whole bedroom cleaned up, purged of junk, and organized. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah......and I'll have to clean the guinea pig cage and mow the back yard because I haven't done either of those since a couple days before we went on vacation. And Sunday, if I have any energy left and any motivation left, I'm going to work on the kitchen and living room. :thumbsup2

Well, what a busy day but great it was so beautiful to 'enjoy' doing the jobs!!

Sorry you had a bad day Michelle. I hope today is better.

Because you appear so friendly, interested and understanding. Oh, and rich!!!

Are you trying to say something about us? :confused3

Hi Friends....happy Saturday!

I'm so excited because I'm booking tonight.....Atlantis excursion, hot stone massage for John, parasailing for Casey and Palo brunch. Gotta stay up until midnight and get it done. Then on Wednesday at midnight I get to book again for the second leg of the cruise....catamaran snorkel excursion, jet skis for John and Casey and Palo dinner with Lisa and Darrell.

When I do the Dream, I'm not booking anything except Palo. I plan on staying onboard to explore. I think I'll skip the new French restaurant too....not sure about that menu.

John and I are going to have to figure out how many vacation days he's going to have available when we get ready to do the LA repo/Alaska....too many cruises and so little time off.:laughing::laughing:
