Except that the creators said (sometime during year one) that the island is not purgatory or limbo and the castaways are not dead there. They also promised it wouldn't 'all be a dream'. :lmao: In one of the alternate endings on Jimmy Kimmel they had Kate wake up in bed with Bob Newhart!

.

.

Oh, I didn't know they said that. :confused3

John, we might be having a Villains night, so as soon as that is confirmed I will mention it here.

I think we have the usual Captain's Gala and Pirates Night, but the Golden Mickeys has gone now.

Tyler is so mad about the Golden Mickeys being gone. I'm looking forward to seeing something new though. I think he'll like the Villains show too, he just doesn't know it yet. ;)

Ken doesn't want to hear about that :scared1: I hope my girls are late bloomers, they have enough attitude some days already, I can't imagine what it'll be like when that gets added to the mix.
I got Shaelyn a book about girls bodies, and it was funny to go through that whole section with her. She has no embarassment at all. We pulled out some "supplies" and did some demos with water to show absorption and she thought it was cool. Poor Ken was squirming just hearing about it.:lmao:

:rotfl2: Poor Ken! I'm glad you did that with her though. My mom did not, so the day I started mine for the first time, I used wadded up toilet paper until I got home from school, then wrote my mom a note and stuck it on her dresser because I was too embarrassed to tell her. I wrote "I need to go to the store and get some pads but am too embarrassed to tell you". I could tell she was nervous too because she asked me if I was sure I spelled "embarrassed" right. Of course I had. Then she got out HER supplies, and all she had were pads that needed to be connected in front and back to a belt you wore around your waist. That freaked me out, so she took me to the store for some more modern supplies. :rotfl2:

I also had to explain to Tyler recently what those things are for. :rotfl: My earlier explanation from when he was younger, telling him they're sort of the same idea as diapers, no longer worked. :rotfl2:

Well, for some reason I've had a mental block about remembering to buy Airborne. I just haven't been able to remember to buy it, so we haven't been taking it for a while. So......Tyler wound up with a cold last week and now I'm getting it. Oh well, it never developed into more than a stuffy nose for him and he only felt sick for one day, so hopefully it will be that quick for me too. Woke up completely stuffed up today, kept waking up last night because the stuff was draining down my throat, gross feeling to wake to, so I propped my pillow up so I wasn't lying flat and that worked. When I got up I decided to keep sleeping and just be late for work, felt that lousy. Was over an hour late and slept my whole hour at lunch too, still am so stuffed, I can't breathe through my nose at all and my ears are even plugged. It's so rare for me to get sick. Heading to bed early. My co-worker Ingrid was going to come over and bring the movie "Avatar" but we postponed so I can just go to bed. And off I go! :cloud9:

Ohhh Just wait until someone has to take out a banana and explain a condom... :scared1: :scared1:

I'm the second girl in the family... and the 4th kid... mom was beyond embaressment by then...

& somehow I thought I started all of this with my talk of hormones....

GUYS...

YOU CAN COME BACK NOW... :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Can you imagine if we let Sukie here... ohh what conversations we could have... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Deb, couldn't quote because your responses were inside my quote.
Aaron was a baby in the 'crossover' because he was a baby on the island (and had just been born in the sideways). The bomb DID work. D&P's son Charlie wasn't part of the island experience...the same for any children that were or would be born to any of the surviors.

Did you notice the stained glass window. It has symbols of different religions and also the wheel...which referenced the wheel on the island that Ben/Lock turned to shift off the island and is also the Buddist symbol of the DARMAHchakra. One of the things I loved about the show was all the visual clues and easter eggs.

BTW, the MIB (Smokey)has a name...they just never told US. On the script he was Samuel, but at some point decided not to let the viewers know his name.

I wouldn't know how to begin to make a mask. I would have to buy one. I hope you do have a villains night. It could be a lot of fun.:wizard:

They actually have all the stuff to make your own mask, it was an event you could do on the EBTA, and I'm sure they will do it on the WBTA and WBPC too. Some ladies had very glamorous ones!

I've racked up a mess of overtime this week and could probably come in on Saturday, if'n I feel like it.

.

Does that come with the cabana boy? (or will we have to send Ken & Bubba for a bucket of beers?)

Originally there was talk of an additional 'level' of service that included a server of some type. Don't know the upcharge for that!

It does come with the fridge stocked with soft drinks, we're told. I'm betting the 'official' announcement will be soon, since one of the captains already spilled the beans!

There is Toy Story too so it will be good to see a few different shows. We don't bother going to those we have seen before, and John doesn't like them anyway. He just goes to see the production. I hope we get some decent performers.

I'm still embarrassed!!

I was thinking this too.....$65 for private shady place not too bad:thumbsup2

Considering the last two times I was there it was basically just for lunch, this would make it much easier/nicer to spend the day there for me, that's for sure! Too bad the next three cruises I'm on don't even go there! :lmao:

I think it is expensive actually. If there was more for the money then ok, but who drinks loads of soft drinks?;) Fruit, chocolate strawberries etc would be a good idea. DVD player perhaps? Large private area for sunning/shading with luxury sunbeds. Perhaps 1 free alcoholic drink per person.

Had to laugh at the stories being told about adult issues...both male & female ones.

So glad today's Friday....looking forward to the long weekend. I have scrapbooking tomorrow & the plan is to FINALLY get the EBTA pics on the disc to mail out to Jackie. They're all on the computer but haven't transfered them yet.

Ian - glad you're back home...how are you feeling?

Deb - how's the leg doing? Any news on John & moving out the hospital?

Maz - how are you feeling?

Holly - how are the headaches?

Healthy people -- how are you guys doing??? :goodvibes

Any fun/interesting plans for the weekend?

A konk cooler or a BBC perhaps?? ;)

Aren't the loungers supposed to be nicer than the regular, too??

Can't wait for more info.
