:lmao::thumbsup2 Isn't it nice when something unexpected comes along to brighten your day :goodvibes

ABSOLUTELY! :goodvibes And it was soooooo yummy! I had a spicy beef chimichanga, plus lots of chips & salsa, and am so stuffed, I couldn't eat supper.

Hi everyone!

Things have been crazy at work lately. We were down 3 agents yesterday, really 4 as I was taken off the phones to handle all the emails (the 2 that normally take turns doing the emails were both off yesterday, today & tomorrow). I did emails again today & will be doing them tomorrow too. It's a nice break from the phone calls, but still very busy & more typing.

Today, there were 2 others that had computer trouble - so, IT decided they needed to take the entire system down about 545pm. They were still at it when it was time for me to go home at 6pm.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been here to give you guys the support that you deserve & need. Please know that you are continuously in my heart, thoughts, & prayers. This goes for everyone. Please forgive me for not being here.

Oh my gosh Monica, I hope your next day off comes soon! Good grief, that's crazy work stuff!

I just realized that I didn't give you guys the update on Ian's MRI. Thank you for your prayers for my boy :lovestruc

Apparently there are many pollups in Ian's nose & sinuses. They aren't playing surgery yet...they are going to try steroids 1st, then surgery if necessary. Doesn't seem like cancer is a thought (THANK GOD!!). Cystic Fibrosis seems to have been ruled out too by the sweat test, but that was also when the thought was that there was only 1 pollup.

So...I guess this means it's a wait and see thing now.

Well I'm glad they've ruled out some of the nasty stuff :grouphug: Hope the steroids work quickly.

Thanks Kathe!

How are you doing? How's your back doing? The strike? Serenity?

I'm good, thanks! The company and union went back to the table to talk this week, and are still talking. Don't know what progress if any is being made but it is a good sign that they are going into day 5 tomorrow.

Serenity is good too, a lot of fun at this age :cutie: Brian is in a wedding party next month so I am taking the weekend off work to look after her. I can hardly wait...but I had better rest up...she's busy ;)

Unpleasant for him, but good news they ruled out cancer! :goodvibes

 :lmao:

Did I already tell the story about my son and the pork chop? I was at work, my husband was at home with him and told him he couldn't have dessert until he ate his meat....well I get a call at work saying they are taking my son to the hospital :scared1: He had stuck the meat up his nose and was having trouble breathing and they couldn't get it out  Of course he was 2 not quite a baby!

Oh my gosh! :scared1: Fortunately, we skipped by that sticking things up the nose phase.

I just discovered the Adventures by Disney 9 day Egypt adventure. OH.........MY...........GOSH!!! I'd definitely need to win the lotto to be able to do that trip because for me & Tyler, it would be a major chunk of my yearly income after factoring in airfare. Wow!!!! BUT......If I start saving for it now, we could feasibly do it in maybe 4 years. :thumbsup2 Gonna start saving! ::yes::

Off to go have some ice cream for dessert and then head to bed early. Tomorrow will be a hectic day at work because I'm the only one there every Friday from now on. :sad2:

I did see that too....sounds very nice. I really like the idea of ABD but their trips are so darn expensive!

enjoy the ice cream & hope you have a good night's sleep.

Did you get the OT $ straightened out? Are you going in this weekend?

Hi Nan,

How are you tonight?

How is mom doing tonight?

Have the sisters backed off yet?

I'm thinking of you. This is the 3 year anniversary of mine and Venetia's moms' deaths. It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years already. It certainly doesn't feel like it.

Thanks Deb - I'm ok today. just tired...but excited for Molly's 13th birthday tomorrow

Mom is ok - Lee takes her to the doctor tomorrow to have her drained

I am two days behind so there is probably new info, but here goes anyway.

 SO SORRY

They take lymph nodes even if they do not suspect spread so it is not always a bad sign.

Did Mom have any idea that pulling out the drain was not a good idea?

Sorry about the siblings. Sounds like you are ready to use tough love on them. Seems appropriate also.

Let me know if I can do anything.

Glad Paul likes the job. Nice to have some positives when we have to go through the negatives.
.

sadly her surgeon took the nodes this time because they felt invovled. I don't think it's going to be good news :sad2:

sadly mom doesn't remember from minute to minute about things like "the drain" being important.

the sister drama is over for now since we don't have to be together :snooty:

Paul tells me the honeymoon is over and the work load has been dumped on him poor baby  I feel no sympathy :rolleyes1

Tonight I'm working on Molly's birthday cake tshirt. I embrodered them from 2-6 then stopped. Picking up the habit again - I hope she likes it :thumbsup2

Did you also hear they they have to travel with armed guards? :scared1::scared1: A friend of mine who is a military contractor with Grumman was in Egypt on assignment with a joint manuever and they could not go off of the resort that they were at without guards... and that included to visit the Pyramids...
