Well... My uncle Frank is in the Hospital.. he's awaiting surgery... he's 84 (this is my dad's brother...) apparently it's a hernia that he had 30 years ago that is the problem again... they are seeing what's to be done next... so some prayers and pixie dust are needed please... I don't want to lose him yet...

OK Michelle!!! I hope all goes well. Something not too difficult to deal with in someone younger can be problematic when older, but I am sure they are looking after him.

Uncle Frank has always been special to me... he's always treated me as if I was one of his own...(he has 3 daughters...) and considdering I had a difficult relationship with my own father... he was always there with the love and acceptance that I didn't get otherwise...

I think it's going to be the Magic and not the Fantasy that moves to either NY or Galveston... I just emailed my sister to let her know I'll be back to visit when DCL visits... probably the winter months... NYC would be a great draw for DCL - with no commuting for lots of people... and can you imagine taking off past the city and the Statue of Liberty?

Thanks Deb - even though my sister takes my mom to the doctor I'm still the "parent" in this case. I'm taking her to surgery and checking her in. I've gotten all the pre-op calls. One just a minute ago and I'm a freaking mess. I wish I had someone who I could unload on about this stuff that knew her and understood. The family dynamics just make this stuff so hard.

To add the mix - I'm in for a medical test in the morning too. I'm just stressed outta my gord right now and feeling very issolated.

I can't wait. I'm really excited and hope that he doesn't blow it. He's psyched too. His mom says he's been extremely good, no arguments, no problems since March. That's a good sign. That was before I offered him to come. So I'm happy.

I told him who we're sitting with....DISer friends that we have not met yet from the cruise thread.....Sharon and her 18 year old son Robby. They're also doing the Atlantis excursion that we're doing. Perfect. They're from Colorado. They're also doing the same B2B as us. For the second half we're sitting with Sharon and Robby and Lisa and Darrell and her sister Jen and niece Lila who will be turning 9 on the cruise. When Casey heard this he said.....awwwww, this is going to be great!

Sounds like all your loving and caring and planning is making a big difference. You are going to have a great cruise

First trade is SUPPOSED to happen tomorrow... (that's important...) IF that happens... then we have to go from there and get the payout date - which could be 9-12 days after...

So... keep all body parts crossed (unless you REALLY need those parts...) I REALLY need this to happen...
