Well it is very impressive!!!! We have had a bad winter back home with bad snow(for us), and cold too. Somewhere, someone is getting wonderful weather!!!!

I was back in Chicago in October. I looked for you while I was in Andersonville. I thought what are the odds I'll run into Ian and Sukie at Clark and Foster or maybe even IKEA?

I wish I had known. We don't get up to Andersonville much. We tend to stay closer in Lincoln Square.

The burbs, My folks are in Hoffman Estates. Very close to Woodfield Mall. We head in to Chicago for the Swedish Bakery.

Did your vet do the extractions before Truman saw the specialist?

I know what you mean. We have been filling up the bird feeder alot recently. this morning there were 2 robins in the tree. A sure sign that spring is on it's way.

I'm all ears Holly!

OK.....here goes.

#1 is Carlos. I used to work with him at UPS. We've known each other since before I was pregnant. We eventually started dating on and off, but nothing serious, never even a kiss, only hugs. He's a good guy, a good Catholic, really involved with his church, is a youth group leader at church, a great dad, etc. BUT....he's a bit afraid of commitment, so he always backs off whenever we start getting closer. Also, he's Puerto Rican and his family is very against multi-racial dating, so that was always another barrier for us. We recently reconnected through FaceBook, have been talking by phone and email and texts lots over the past few weeks. We're supposed to go see a movie together this week.

#2 is Andrew. Apparently I graduated high school with him, but I don't remember him at all. Many of my high school friends remember him and say he's a nice guy. He requested to be a FaceBook friend and we chatted for about 3 weeks and were supposed to meet this week. BUT....he was getting waaaaaay too pushy, calling me multiple times a day and emailing many times a day, so I cut him out of the picture. Nicely found a way to make him go away.
