Good morning all! Nice thing is that I have a 3-day weekend.
I had an awful week at work, really awful. I do not like to post these things online, but it is very different from before. This is not about stress and pressure. It's about something very different, and a very different dynamic.
I really need to figure out what to do.
On a positive and cheery note, the Apple Store phoned yesterday. Sukie's iMac is ready. They needed to replace the logic board and the fan. I figure that if we hadn't had Applecare this would have been about a $700 to $800 repair.
So my recommendation to all you Mac or would be Mac owners is always get the Applecare plan. It's a good deal and well worth the money.
So the good news is that as of today, I get my office back and Sukie can start working in his own office today.
We leave in about 5 minutes to drive back out to Old Orchard mall, which should take about 20 minutes at this time of day.
We also have 2 new arrivals at Eastwood Manor, well in the tenants section of Eastwood Manor. They guys upstairs picked up their Westie puppies yesterday. Two little 12 week old boys. They're very cute. Truman and Tallulah met them. The puppies are just about the same size as Truman and Tallulah.
Truman has been very stand-offish and does not seem to like the puppies. The puppies were all over Tallulah, who kept trying to get away from them. She was running around the apartment upstairs snorting very loudly. She starts snorting when she's frustrated. In this case the little boys would not leave her alone or get their noses and muzzles out of her private bits. She found it rather distressing.
Truman on the other hand just wanted to be held and was clingy. I think he's a little fraidy cat.
