We did know. Bubba, Venetia, and Gaylean and family are booked. We are considering adding it onto our PC cruise seeing as I won't want to get off!!!!!

OH YEAH....well I just booked it too! So now you just better well add it to your PC, young lady!

I missed out on the special rates they were doing the last couple of days, but I know Peg would at least want a window anyway. I've already rationalized that my balance due is less than the $600 Alaska deposit I will be getting back when I cancel that August cruise.

This will now make me platinum for the Nov 11 Dream B2B, so I can do advance booking and stuff.

And now, I match MONICA, with FIVE cruises booked for 2011! (actually have six booked including the Aug Alaska which I will be cancelling)

Dear Deb - very sorry to hear the leg treatment didn't work. Sounds like it's been a rough time for you lately - sending prayers, and from across the pond that things work out...

Hi Everybody

Oh stressful this week....

Ian and I bought new kitchen units, oven, hobs and flat screen tv...

We have a huge kitchen and this week we cleaned out the cupboards and lift the floorboards (lots of work)...

I felt it was wrong times as I am going away tomorrow to Aberdeen for my brother's wedding with my daughter as she will be flowergirl..

My neighbour is doing the labour, moving the heating and put diffrent place, and doing the wall tiles, fixing the new kitchen etc for us as he prefer this weekend *** quiet as we all away to the wedding...

I am sure it will turn out lovely when we come back after weekend (well I hope so)

Our stupid building work has ground to a halt due to a communication problem between the Building Surveyor and the Planning Officer. We've been in limbo for the best part of 2 months now - add that to the delay from the weather and we are 4 months behind. Fingers crossed it's almost sorted now - hoping the builders will be back on-site in 3 weeks..

Well I had my hospital appointment to get my MRI results today. Good news is nothing nasty which is what I anticipated, but they want to take the gallbladder out as there is some inflammation and tiny gallstones. It is the tiny gallstones that are the problem passing down the bile duct and going into the pancreatic one causing the nasty acute pancreatitis. They don't want me to have another attack, and I sure don't. Apart from being one of the most painful things, it can be fatal.

Our September vacation should be fine now, barring complications. Just need to check the cancellation policy as I can't get travel insurance until all is ok.

Should have the op, done by keyhole(hopefully) as a day case in 2-3 weeks.

Glad to hear there's something pro-active that can be done, Marilyn! Hope you get an appointment asap and can draw a line under the experience before too long...

I know what you mean It looks like I might end up paying more to get to LA and home from Vancouver next year than what the TA cost me in airfare. I still have lots of time to search for cheaper airfare though.

Hope you come up with something for the July long weekend.

Yeah we always joke that we just want to rent a seat not buy the whole damn plane! Airfare seems to be the most expensive part of any vacation. Fortunately for me I don't usually have to worry about number of days of vacation I usually just have to worry about timing of vacations with regards to work. It's Shannon that limits our # of vacation days and we really can't complain about that as she gets lots. But it is one reason why we tend to drive lots. Driving from here to LA isn't a big deal to us.

Still trying to come up with something. Not sure I really want to head into the states for that weekend, but it might be a good time to take the girls to Seattle at least. But if we go to the states we have to get Kaleigh's passport updated quickly.

Yep feeling better. Also had a good day at work today felt like I really accomplished lots. Unfortunately nobody seems to have noticed, but I'm pleased with what I did...

Next week it's off to Alberta to hopefully get rid of a headache...

yep, and we are looking at using points to fly for the repo to Vancouver so i'm not sure if we will have enough points to fly for free to get there. But we won't give up. However, I think it might be more fun to join Bubba and V on their Alaska cruise on the Wonder that summer. Afterall it's not like it costs us lots to get to Vancouver. Have to see about vacation time and funds (for the actual cruise) after we pay for the B2B...
