Hi Everybody

Oh stressful this week....:scratchin

Ian and I bought new kitchen units, oven, hobs and flat screen tv...

We have a huge kitchen and this week we cleaned out the cupboards and lift the floorboards (lots of work)...:(:crazy2:

I felt it was wrong times as I am going away tomorrow to Aberdeen for my brother's wedding with my daughter as she will be flowergirl..

My neighbour is doing the labour, moving the heating and put diffrent place, and doing the wall tiles, fixing the new kitchen etc for us as he prefer this weekend *** quiet as we all away to the wedding...:scared1::scared1:

I am sure it will turn out lovely when we come back after weekend (well I hope so)

Deborah, at least you can go away and forget all about it. Just enjoy the weekend and the wedding, and deal with the aftermath when you get back. Sounds like a big job to finish in a long weekend though.

Well I had my hospital appointment to get my MRI results today. Good news is nothing nasty which is what I anticipated, but they want to take the gallbladder out as there is some inflammation and tiny gallstones. It is the tiny gallstones that are the problem passing down the bile duct and going into the pancreatic one causing the nasty acute pancreatitis. They don't want me to have another attack, and I sure don't. Apart from being one of the most painful things, it can be fatal.

Our September vacation should be fine now, barring complications. Just need to check the cancellation policy as I can't get travel insurance until all is ok.

Should have the op, done by keyhole(hopefully) as a day case in 2-3 weeks.

Hopefully you'll come home to everything looking great! Is Olivia excited about being a flower girl?

At least you will have an answer :thumbsup2

Woke up with a flare up this morning... had to take meds... I've been keeping a calendar of all that I have taken the last couple of weeks to keep track.. I've been able to go about a week in between having to take any major pain meds. I'm trying to see how long I can go and what progress I'm making.

Is there no one else you can see about this Michelle? It doesn't seem right at all that you keep suffering this way.

Deborah, have a GREAT weekend! I can hardly wait to see your pics :flower3:

Don't worry about your kitchen, I bet it will look great too!

 :rotfl:

That's okay...I'm busy planning for my next cruise...in Oct :cool1:

Yeah yeah yeah... If the flights to the east coast weren't so flippin' expensive ... Can't wait for the Wonder to get to the West Coast. My pocket book will probably take a huge hit then!

Was looking for a decent cruise on the west coast for the July 1st / 4th weekend but of course there doesn't seem to be anything. Seems to be either on the 4th or the week before, but nothing falling across both holidays.

Trying to figure out a vacation idea for that weekend as it is prime for vacation days. Take the Friday and the Monday off here and it is a 5 day weekend.

I'll easily trade you mine ... Frickin government bureaucrats.
Get this my program officer for one of my contracts had no idea how the program actually worked nor did he know exactly what my contract was all about.

At the end of March, governmental fiscal year end, he asks for my report/invoice early. I deliver. He then starts to question a bunch of the charges (and by charges I mean clients that I invoice for in the program) and revises my report/invoice to a lower amount. This questioning makes me believe he doesn't understand the program. I have meeting with him and his superior and we hammer out what the contract/program is and isn't. Basically I get everything I want. Mr. Bureaucrat and I agree to redo the March invoice/report which affects which clients are in the program and not in the program (not to mention the costs). So I go ahead and redo the invoice/report and submit it to him.

then comes the payment. I got it today and it was for the amount that he had revised my initial report/invoice down to. Now I get to spend the rest of the day trying to figure out which clients are actually in the program and which ones aren't. And of course this is for March and we are at the end of April so we have been providing service to people for a month that weren't necessarily in the program and others that we had dismissed from the program are actually in the program so we have to get back in touch with them.

Add to this we had to let someone go/they quit on us last week and we are finding out that they didn't leave soon enough because they were working with clients without registering the client in the program so there is no record of this person who is coming in and wanting service. Add to that she messed up royally the process with employers on training programs so that we have employers who have hired people before the training program was approved and some employers who she just left hanging. And of course little to no record keeping to go with it.

And that's just 1 program. I won't even get into the other 4 programs I oversee (at least two of them are running without a problem).
