Well... I just got back from the Dr....

NOT pnemonia...

But it has turned into bronchitis and a sinus infection... (I inherited my dad's crappy sinues...)

I've got zithromax and a nasal spray and some Drakes Apple Pies...

So... here's to feeling better!!!

Michelle, I hope you can get to feeling better quickly.

You know... I just checked.. it looks like your cruise is sold out...

A couple of weeks ago there was only Cat 4's left. Now...there may be a suite still available.....I'm just saying.

Our receptionist at work went through 2 rounds of different kinds of antibiotics and is still sick. She's been sick for 6 weeks now. She's mad that her doctor won't give her a 3rd kind of antibiotic to try, but I'd think it's viral if the antibiotics didn't do anything for her. Awful stuff.

Holly, I've been thru two rounds of antibiotics for the leg and now I'm the first round of a different antibiotic for the ear and leg. I have seen some improvement, but not enough. I expected it to be almost gone by now. It's not. The ear is just a little better and the leg is the same.

I have so much to do to get ready to leave in just 3 days and all I can do is sleep because I'm in so much pain. This is not the way I imagined going on this trip.

Brrrrrr, 6+" of snow here and still snowing. Looks like all the country will be covered by the end of the day. Most schools are closed here and roads a mess. Councils are running out of grit and salt so things are not going to be good if it continues. The footpaths were treacherous before this new snow and it is going to freeze again.

I'm staying inside, though I am getting a little fed up now that I can walk more and could do with a brisk walk.

Weather here - awful more snowing last night...

and told that this Sat will be freezing... brrrrrrrr

Kids are going back to school tomorrow horray but I have to check on internet to see if school open or not because of bad weather...

My car engine is fine but very ice on top window, etc, I try to put engine on but I give it up and took the bus to work...

We got quite a bit of snow and gusty weather over the last few days too, although yesterday wasn't bad. Tonight we had freezing rain, I got off work and had to scrape my car windows for what seemed like forever

Well we had another 3" overnight. John couldn't get the car out so has gone into work with our son to help dig out there so they can send out some orders. We do have some blue sky so it is looking quite nice from where I am sitting!!!

Seems the whole country is white now. We have a blocking high bringing arctic weather and it should be around at least for another 10 days.

The snow must be having a big impact. As I recall, the country is just not equiped to deal with snow. When I lived there in 1991 there was a big snow and the spread grit, which was pretty worthless.
