Thanks. I decided to check their corporate site again and now they say more about benefits offered in their careers section. That must have been recently added, because there was no information there before.

They do offer domestic partner benefits, which is what our relationship might be considered in spite of the marriage license. I'm relieved that that's one less thing to worry about.

I'm gulping down my soup.

I am so stressed today. Meetings with 2 directors from NY where I was in the hot seat for 2 hours.

I also have a project that I told them is going into pilot in 9 days, because that's the plan however I also know that it's going rapidly down the toilet and won't happen unless there's a miracle.

I'm so stressed that I have a headache and my neck is so stiff that I feel like my head is going to snap off.

Weigh in day....I just lost some more points today. I started at 35 daily and now I'm at 29. I'm only 5 away from my second 25 pound incremental goal. That's a great feeling. I know I have lots more to go but I feel that I have proven that it can be done and I'm on my way for real. It's very exciting. Just think of how I'm going to look driving in my Spyder up to the Port for all my 2011 cruises....getting my picture taken boarding the Dream and looking good. I'm psyched.

Since I like to dress up on formal nights I have developed a tradition of buying a new tiara every year for my birthday. Here's the one that came in the mail today.

It's called the Audrey Hepburn and should be worn like this.

Whew, finally caught up! Been super busy this past week, and a migraine 3 days this week, and super tired. All is good now, except for the stupid MICE. Every place I see one, I leave a poison packet. No luck. Still fighting with them.


Really nice day today, almost 70F!!! We did some popcorn selling in our neighborhood, walked door to door for an hour. Went to a cool science/math event at a local college, only cost $3.00, had at least 50 activities, we didn't even have time to do half of them in the 4 hours it was going on today, had a ton of fun, Tyler got lots of prizes and goodies and 4 books, and a few pictures to share maybe tomorrow. FUN day! Any kind of science you can think of, there was an exhibit/activity. I even learned lots too!

Tyler's in LOVE with Hannah Montana, so when we stopped to rent a movie for this evening, he begged me to rent her movie. I actually loved it! He wants to buy it so he can watch it again and again.

Tomorrow is supposed to be just as warm as today, so we'll do more popcorn selling and will spend most of the day finally raking our leaves. Might take a break to go see Disney's Scrooge 3D movie.

hahaha....you crack me up. I have to agree though. He is her dad for real....he's just my step dad that I acquired as an adult.

It's so weird because you're so proud, but you know our country is at war. That's the scary part. I'll be sharing that with you Nan.

We now have a Navy, an Army and a Marine in our family. We just need an air force to complete the list.

Thanksgiving is always on the last Thursday of the month of November. Next year it will be Nov 25. How fun it would be to get off of the ship and then stop over in Chicago to do a mini meet. The Crowne Plaza is at the airport....O'hare not Midway. It sounds like a plan.

Holly, I've been wondering where you were! Sorry about the migraine but glad you're feeling better. Sounds like you and Tyler had an awesome day! It's going to be a warm day here tomorrow too. Leaves are all raked, but I have a few bulbs I want to get planted. We're planning on a BBQ too.

I can't believe we're talking about Thanksgiving 2010, but then why should it surprise me, we're planning cruises that are even further out than that.

I can't believe how fast time is flying by this fall. For me it's largely due to my being so busy at work.
