Can anyone help??

You see I bought a beautiful watch from Bahamas while we were first time cruise with Wonder Disney.

Last week my watch start stop (i think water through it after I wash up the dishes) I thought it was battery dead so I handed it to my father in law to get new battery...:cry:

But father in law came back and explained me that it was not battery as man said that watch is usual which it don't have it in UK..

I wonder if New York might have something not battery? I never heard of it..

Look up the manufacturer and/or the store name where you bought it from. You'll probably find what you need there. Try the manufacturer first. Do a Google search for the name. Then you might even find them in NY when you're here. Good Luck.

THANK YOU for all the bday wishes..... You give me warm fuzzies

Gydell called me yesterday about the Dream....she said that it looked like min of $2500 for 2 of us on the MV....just read the Dream pricing thread and it looks like it would be even more as inside rooms are gone. Too rich for our blood! (BUT if anyone needs another body in their stateroom....let me know - pricing could work ). Looks like I'll try for another cruise at another time (probably in the fall). Oh well.

Still keeping my eyes out for a cruise on the Wonder in the 1st quarter of 2010....if prices come out nicely I have my list of possible cruise mates at the ready

Had a good weekend w/ the family - got home last night about 8pm. Can't believe I'll see everyone again in 3 weeks (from tomorrow).

Another stressful week. I a on a project that is supposed to go to pilot in a week and that's now become a ridiculous goal. Who knows maybe we can pull it off. I have to work this weekend and next weekend. I had already arranged for a sub for my WW meetings on Sunday the 15th but now I have also arranged for on this coming Sunday the 8th. I was supposed to go to a WW mandatory training session this coming Saturday, but I highly doubt I will be able to make it. I'm not sure what the impact of that is going to be.

The acquisition of the company I work for is rapidly coming to a close. There is a shareholder meeting next week for the vote to approve the sale.

Tomorrow there are two people coming in that I have to meet with, one of whom I'll probably be working for and I'm going to be meeting with both of them.

Things are getting tense at work. We had a weekly planning meeting, with a couple of people conferenced in. One was a woman I work with with whom I've had run ins before, she was home getting over the swine flu. Also on the phone was one of these NY people that we're going to be reporting to.

I was in the call for only the first 10 minutes when this woman I work with, who was on the phone, decided to get really difficult. I took a consolatory tone to at least make it seem like we had a spirit of teamwork.

I understand from my colleagues who stayed for the whole meeting that she starting tossing everyone, including some of the people who report to her under the bus.

Very stressful week.

If I could take your stress away I would... If it makes you feel any better... I feel like I've been hit by a bus...

I like that one too...

The only bright spot in my sea of misery is that the Nesco Roaster I ordered arrives today. Sad that the only thing I have to look forward to is an electric appliance.

In a couple of weeks we also find out about our new benefits package post acquisition, so right now I don't know if Sukie will have health coverage or not. It will be a whole new HR department to deal with. I don't know if they offer partner benefits. Our marriage status is gray because the marriage is only recognized in a handful of states, and in the other 45 we have absolutely no legal relationship with each other whatsoever.

OK, pity party over.

Right now I'm focused on working myself up to being sparkling and charming for my meetings tomorrow.

Like I said... leave the Fez home and go with the tails...

Thanks. I decided to check their corporate site again and now they say more about benefits offered in their careers section. That must have been recently added, because there was no information there before.

They do offer domestic partner benefits, which is what our relationship might be considered in spite of the marriage license. I'm relieved that that's one less thing to worry about.

Not sure when exactly... but Patterson called for same sex marriage to be put on the next state congressional session...
