I'm going to see Michael Jackson's This Is It movie today. I'm wearing a surgical mask into the movie theater. I don't want to catch the flu that's going around. Every time I go into a movie theater I come out sick with some bug or another. People will think I'm wearing the mask for Michael...like they do at the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Hey, I have to look for that on TV since it's halloween. That's a fun tradition.

Hi Kathe, any drama updates in your life today with the little one? I laugh so much reading your new adventures. I see you being where I was about 15 years ago. It goes so quickly and does eventually get back to quiet. Then you'll miss all the action and busy, busy. Really, you will.

No drama today...yet Serenity loves her pumpkin costume but not too sure whether we'll make it to many houses tonight, which is okay because she doesn't need the candy!The weather here is not nice. Very windy and she hates the wind. It is cool and supposed to rain tonight We'll be at a friends' house though, so I know she'll have fun playing there.

Running out of time. Tyler will be here in 4 hours, I have to shower, go to the laundromat, carve 2 pumpkins, go get trick or treat bags, go buy batteries for our costumes, and squeeze lunch in somewhere.

Good Morning Marilyn. You're not going in April this spring? Feb/March is a bit early for you isn't it? It looks like we're going to miss you. We'll be down in Jan and then probably around April again. I'm sorry that we won't get to see you, but I'm happy for you that you're booked.

Yes a bit of a change, though we went at the end of February for 2 years running back in '06 and '07(I think) It is a nice time to go. We wanted to go a few weeks earlier to miss more of winter but John has an exhibition in Amsterdam that first week of February so we had to push the date on a bit. We are there for just under 6 weeks - he had to get back then. Missing my birthday again!!! He has been on holiday on his birthday quite a few times but mine is at a difficult time with it being Easter time ish!! So, I have never been away for my birthday, not even special ones. I was a little cross, but as we are there for so many weeks I guess I can't complain.

Sorry we won't get to meet.

I love the new roaster....not sure how it works or what to put in it though. I would much rather opt for diamonds, decor and new apparel....but that's just me.

Had a bit of an ebay bummer last night. Our porsche is for sale (we listed it with a local broker on ebay) and the auction was to close and some dummy placed an extra 0 in his bid and therefore revealed the reserve and basically ended our auction many hours early It didn't reach nearly high enough on ebay so we will wait and see if the broker can wiggle a deal out of those watching this week. I hope so, that will give us peace of mind for the mortage while Paul is still with out a job. Went to bed with a headache over the drama.

It's a new day, trying to be in the spirit. I talked with my mom last night and decided not to bother with bringing her over here tonight. She always wants to rush home and it's hard on us to make the drive in the middle of whatever is going on (tonight ToT) I'm sad, and feeling guilty, but it is what it is. I'll have her over tomorrow night instead.

you're right, but then again you take weeks at a time leaving the country vacations with out your kids Just kidding. I just feel sad for her since my dad is gone. She really is happy in her own zone (in her jammies all day yesterday she reported) (which is more and more the norm for her I wonder how I'd feel if I was her. I suspect lonely, but then again I doubt I'd be her. I'm always chattering with friends so not a person that holes up alone. I realized why I love Facebook so much. Molly, my chef in residence, tried out the recipe today for Coca-Cola bbque sauce (from our FE gifts on Tortola) to add to our crockpot of pulled pork sandwhiches for dinner tonight. It smells STRONG. She says it tastes good, but different. Has anyone else tried the receipe? Ahhhhh....just thought I should have added some RUM maybe that's why it looked so good on paper, I'm sure in my minds eye it said Rum & coca-cola

Just booked our flights for next Feb/March. Hopefully we will get a cruise in there somewhere.

I've had a real lucky break this week as a good DISfriend of mine is not only willing but also able to take a trip to WDW with me next June!!! We both celebrate our birthdays in June which is a fab excuse for a trip if I do say myself... Anyway, I'll be ringing Member Services after Uni on Friday as that's when our 7 month window opens - I CAN"T WAIT!!!

Just back from spying on the spooky Halloween party my daughter Sophie and her partner Dr Joe are hosting at their house... Youngest son Samuel was invited (Matty, eldest son couldn't go as enjoying a weekend away in Berlin) and earlier I painted his nails black and made his face as pale as QVC make-up would allow...
