Well... the camera and the Plankman are packed... nothing else yet... better get moving I guess...

Deb... see you tomorrow... 12... I will recognize you by the two bottles of bubbly you're bringing??? ;)

Drive safe my friend... See you at the Hyatt... :goodvibes

Oh and before I forget...

Ken... Shannon...

I have read that the Royal Queen of Said Place of Marilyn's Birth :hippie: is coming to visit Canada next summer... WHY Quesnel is NOT on her list of historical places to visit.. I just can't comprehend...

Would you like me to send my diplomats to visit HER diplomats to see if we can get this worked out?

We MUST keep peace between our Kingdoms...

Prayer request : My Mother-in-law(Carol) has dislocated her hip (3 weeks post op hip replacement surgery) they can't get it "reset" so surgery is pending.

The longer story is that this happened in the lobby of the movie theater this afternoon. The grandmas and Molly and Wil and I were going to see Fantastic Fox. Carol's hip went out in the lobby I called Paul sent the kids and my mom into watch the movie, called the doctor, Paul arrived, was advised to call 911 in came the paramedics (yum) and then the ambulance team (yum again) and she was wisked off to the hospital. Kids, mom and I saw the show too mom home (sadly my mom didn't even remember Carol had been with us :sad2:

Keep Carol in your prayers please :flower3:

So sorry Nan, hoping she heals quickly.

Sending many thoughts...

We are in JERSEY!!! Not the Isle... but the State...

Must be the right place...

My brothers dog has gone bald...

They painted the upstairs room in POMPEII... who sleeps in POMPEII???

My SIL has banned the cherry soda from the house (soon to be snuck back in cause I'm not taking that stuff home (Adirondack Soda I can get...)

The QM has banned everyone from the kitchen tomorrow evening... (Green Bean Cassarole :woohoo: :woohoo:... but I have to fight the niece and the other brother for it.. :headache:.)

It's almost time for me to go and aero my bed... I need to find the sleeping bag to ward off the cold air of the bed - don't want to freeze myself before tomorrow...

If anything happens before tomorrow evening... NONE Of us at the Dismeet are to blame...

thanks Paul tells me she was getting her morphine drip as he was leaving, then he added she doesn't do pain very well. I reminded him her hip was not in it's joint:sad2: Sometimes I think men don't understand the pain we women have indured... namely being around them when we are hurt :rolleyes1

This has been a text book case of why I hate the idea of surgery :cool2:

Nan... you have to have surgery... We'll get the Royal boo boo team together and take care of you...

Rum in your drip?

I can only imagine how much pain she's in.....how awful!

Yes my MIL does have to have surgery but I don't ;)

The replacement was elective in the sense that she decided to do it rather than wait or not have it. I'm just not a surgery hospital person. They freak me out. And Paul has the 24/7 hand holding duty if and when I need it, so thanks for your offer but I'm covered :upsidedow

Nan, sending lots of pixie dust your way for a speedy recovery and lots of drugs in the meantime for Carol. Paul must be beside himself with worry.

Michelle, I'm so glad you arrived safely. Looking forward to tomorrow. I just tried on clothes to see what fits. Unfortunately, I won't be wearing pink. I have a really nice pink shirt with a glitter Tink on it that I wanted to wear. I got it at DL and it finally fits. But it's a tank shirt and I think it will be way too cold tomorrow to get away with it. I have a different Tink shirt that I'll wear from WDW but it's not pink and there's no glitter. Best I can do.

We're leaving here at 9:30 am. It should take us 1 hr and 45 mins. Then we need to park and get up to the restaurant early so 2 1/2 hrs total should do it. We need the extra time in case we hit traffic towards Jersey City. Everyone will still be out shopping. No clothes tax in NJ either so people come from NY to shop there. It could be very busy.

We picked up a magnum of Korbel Brut. That's only one corking fee. Me, Deborah and the QM can drink. You and John are the designated drivers so only one glass for you guys. haha.:laughing:

The turkey got RAVE reviews from Dianne! "The best I've ever had!" :thumbsup2 And she couldn't even decide which side dish she liked best. I couldn't even get a coherent respone on the dessert...just yum noises. I think she also enjoyed being the only biological female present! ::yes::

Have gotten a few chores done...some laundry, kitchen cleaning and bill paying. Just got back on the computer to look up some financial stuff, but had to stop in here, of course.

Today starts the four-weekend purge plan. Wish me luck on that!

.

What a productive day for you Jackie. That's great!

What's the four-weekend purge plan? Everything in the house is getting thrown out? Good Luck with that.

Deb, Michelle, Deborah, have a great time tomorrow! :goodvibes

Although not doing heavy duty cleaning like I'd planned, I am at least making a little progress. Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow, I'll see the little bit I did today and it will motivate me to continue.

Goodnight all!

deb michelle & deborah hugs too all and wshen you hug pretend it's me :grouphug:

Your not being here means that we CAN blame you!!!

Enjoy, and love to all.
