Our youngest grandaughter(2 at the end of September) was a flower girl on Friday. She's a right little poser!!!

I must have known that you posted her picture here last night, I was in bed thinking about the best way to get the box of her name sake pieces to you ;) Miss M here cleaned out the little girl stuff over the last few weeks that she wants to pass on to her. She is going to be excited to see her picture. I called her in to see it and she said "She is sooooo cute!" We are going to have fun packing her goodies. I'm going to bring them on the ship with me. I figure it's easier than mailing and I'm sure cheaper too ;)

Thanks for sharing her picture :lovestruc

Off to shop for dinner. We are having friends over to bbque then the kids are bike riding around the block :woohoo: It's getting hot here

Awwwwwww......... :cutie: :cutie: :cutie:

Hey Marilyn... did you notice that Ian is back to farming??? I think he's afraid you've pulled too far ahead of him...

Afraid not. I got bored after a few minutes and gave up. I just don't have the patience or time for it at the moment.

Marilyn,

Don't tell me this is your granddaughter! I don't believe it. You're so youthful! I had thought this was your sister.

That is so sweet of your Molly!!! Our Molly has just gone on holiday today to Tenerife for 4 weeks! Parents are teachers, and the property belongs to the in laws, so great all round!!!

She is, and not just because I am biased!! When you are out and about with her, or in a cafe, she smiles at people all the time and they are all just bowled over by her. She is amiable and too cute!

Quite the little charmer! princess:

Yet another quiet day... or so it seems that way since the family has all left...

the QM and I have decided what to do for my birthday this year... we are (weather permitting) going to go up to Lake George and take one of the lake cruises, probably on the Minne-ha-ha and then we will have lunch and wander around and maybe even go past the Frankenstein Wax Museum... :rotfl:

http://www.lakegeorgesteamboat.com/index.asp?lg=1&w=pages&r=3&pid=4

I'll park my car over by Ft. William Henry (site of the fictional "Last of the Mohicans"... although I've never actually seen Daniel Day Lewis there...) and we'll probably have lunch over looking the lake at the cafe...

I'm going to try and resist hitting the shopping outlets (but you know you can always use new undies...) :cheer2:
Sounds nice Michelle! :goodvibes We have one of those boats here called the Michigan Princess that I took my mom on for a Mother's Day brunch one year. :thumbsup2

We finally had a hot day today! So Tyler and I hung out at the water park. Super fun! :goodvibes We just had our first thunderstorm of the season roll through. A good one, but very short. I LOVE standing on the front porch watching storms! :thumbsup2

Monica...check the main cruise board for the upgrade thread, I think we need to see what we can get that cat 3 for US for $$$ :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Well...if you do happen to get that cat 3...I suppose you won't want to leave your cabin, which means less competition for the tile loungers at the spa ;)

Holly, that does sound like a fun day :thumbsup2 Super hot here too, but I was indoors at work most of the day. Not a fun day :sad2: It's been threatening to storm all day, but so far they've all bypassed us. I'm glad, they were forcasting the possibility of a tornado!

Glad the storms passed by you. :thumbsup2

We did have fun, stopped for ice cream on the way home and got rained on waiting in line, but that was fun too. Only bad part of the day was how we ended up leaving the water park. We were standing just outside the pool waiting for a raft for us to take up the slide to use, and somehow Tyler's toenail got ripped off his big toe on one foot. He has no idea what happened, but possibly he dragged his foot when taking a step and it got caught on the rough concrete, I don't know. I just know he was screaming all of a sudden! I'd scream too because it was almost the whole nail ripped off, lots of blood, and the nail was hanging there, partially attached. We went up to the lifeguard office and they have a whole setup there for dealing with things like that. They put him up on their table, pulled out an emergency kit, slid gloves on, and snipped the nail off quickly (which made his screams hit earpiercing levels), then put some bandaids on. Poor kid!

See my reply....at least $1400, as it's a 4 level upgrade.

Successfu shopping for me today. :thumbsup2 New undies on mega sale with coupon AND two cute new tops...including a WHITE one that I've been instructed is mandatory for the embarkation photo. I still want to try and find some capris...very difficult for short round women...they all are too long. May have to break down and take some in for alterations if I can't find any short enough. Will still try Walmart/Target/Kohls for those. Will head back out after the sun goes down.

Ohh you can tell we're friends... talking about Undies... :thumbsup2

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Jackie, I hope you have success in your capri search! I spent hours trying to find a pair of jeans last week for my trip this week, but finally found a pair. I just don't think they make clothing for "real" people...period :headache: I'm not short, but my height is not in my legs and almost all the jeans I tried on were too long. And it seemed 90 percent of them were a very low rise :scared1: :lmao:

:scared1: Oh, poor Tyler  That must have been so painful, and will be until it grows in again. Sorry he had to end his fun day in that way. I bet the ice cream helped some though ;)

I knew I shouldn't have posted this. It's beginning to thunder very loudly!

Sorry the water park ended so badly! Hope Tyler feels better in the morning.
