HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND ON OUR RUBY WEDDING!
Oh Marilyn, these deserved being re-posted, what great pictures! You look beautiful, John looks so handsome, and you both look THE SAME now (other than John missing a bit of hair). :lovestruc I loved seeing these pictures!

Have a wonderful, magical, beautiful anniversary day!

Thank you Holly and Woody.

John did have a lot of curly hair. I must scan a child picture showing his curly locks!!!

Our oldest son looks a lot like him apart from the hair.

There was a Monorail crash at the Epcot station this morning - 2am ish. The driver of one was killed. One monorail crashed into the back of a stationary one.

How very very sad. Something must have gone very wrong with the safety system. I didn't think that could happen.

Thoughts are with the driver's family.
Oh my gosh, how sad. I didn't realize the monorail had drivers, I thought they were automatic like the ones inside airport buildings.

Ian, hearing about the party last night CRACKED ME UP! :rotfl2:

Tyler and I both slept until almost 11am today! That's very unusual for him. We were the last ones awake, and it was the smell of breakfast cooking that woke us. One stepbrother (not the one whose house we're ate, his family is visiting too) and his wife were making a birthday breakfast for their daughter who turns 8 today. I had brought a bunch of foods for us while were here, but we joined them and their French toast and bacon. :goodvibes Tyler and Elizabeth (his cousin) both jumped in the pool immediately after, and Tyler's wanting me to join him, so off I go! The sun is nowhere in sight, but it's still much warmer than Michigan, so it's good! :goodvibes

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

John and Marilyn!

(and yes I am still working on a magnet for you)

Ken,

So you now have a kayak? You know they make a cream for that. It's easily treated.

You're the very first person I've ever known with a kayak.

Actually, it sounds like fun.

If we lived in a part of the continent that was as beautiful as your part, we'd be outside a lot more too.

I can't really say that the prairies are all that inspiring. Good farm land, but boring to look at.

I wonder what Sukie would say if I said, "Let go kayaking?"

I recently showed him the brochures of the Alaskan cruises. I told him we could spend a few extra days and perhaps go hiking or maybe fishing, and he looked at me and said (exact quote), "And who were you planning to go on this cruise with?"

(I'm going with you, Sukie just doesn't know yet, we will make perfect drinkign buddies :thumbsup2 I'll fish with you and you can hike while I'm in the spa )

My in-laws started kayaking a couple years ago. They have a house in jackson hole, wy (they live here in los gatos, 5 minutes from us) and they go on the snake river and in jenny lake. They love it. It looks like a thing that I would fall out of and get wet.

My sister has one too, she goes in the ocean, out of Monterey mostly, again I'd fall out and in the ocean I'd get eaten by JAWS :scared1:

That reminded me molly was teasing me about the baracuda attacking me at CC on Mother's Day :scared1: I don't like Barry. When we were there again on NYE cruise, I wouldn't even swim :sad2: I'll swim when we go on tortola, but I'll expect you all to drag my fish eaten body back on board to give to my spouse and children to bury

Thank you so much for posting those incredibly awesome pictures. Marilyn, you look EXACTLY the same....John looks too young. He looks so much better now....very mature and distinguished. You both make a lovely couple and it was great to see where it all started.

Wishing your every dream comes true....and many, many more happy years together.
:wizard:

Thanks Deb. Back from our son and daughter in law's. Had a lovely roast beef dinner with roasties and Yorkshire puddings!!! Finished with apple crumble and custard.:cool1: We took a very nice bottle of Champagne with us, bought from a cave in the Champagne region of France a few years ago. Very nice it was too.

So glad you and Tyler arrived safely and are getting to spend some happy and leisurely time with the family. Continue to enjoy!

No Waterskiing and now no Kayaking???? What are you going to do when you come to visit us??? Sit by the lake and watch the pretty clouds go by? (I'll buy an espresso machine...)

It's very sad... at least it happened at 2 am - otherwise it could have been a much worse disaster... :sad2:
