So......I HAVE THREE DAYS OF KID-FREE FREEDOM!!!!!!!!

Tyler's dad gets Labor Day this year, so instead of me picking him up on Saturday, he'll just stay at his dad's straight through Monday evening!




I guess that doesn't sound very motherly of me. Of course I'll miss him by tomorrow night, but I just love, love, love the rare free weekends when I can do whatever I want!

Okay, so me knowing it's only one week away from leaving my husband and kids and being excited out of my skin isn't going to win me the wife/mother of the year award either huh?

OK since no one showed up for margarita's I had to drink them. and now its the start to the best weekend EVER.

No real plans this weekend, Bubba needs a new blue tooth, and looking to find a labor day sale on a BBQ. (yes, we don't have one)

Maybe next time Jon and Gay come to visit, I'll have something decent for him to cook on.

Good morning. Looks lovely out today, but it was a cold night!! winter is right round the corner.

I&S and J&C have landed safely at MCO... I just talked to MON... they are headed over to WL to meet up and go to AKL for dinner at BOMA...

Oh, I am! I slept until 1pm!!!!!

Have to do some not so fun things, need to do laundry, need to pick up a prescription refill, have to clean the guinea pig cage, need to pull weeds, BUT......I'm going to rent some movies for more relaxing this evening.

My mom is coming to town tomorrow to take apart my bathroom sink drain for me to clean out what's clogging it. How embarrassing. When she used it when she was here on Monday, she found out about the clog and gets super irritated with me when I don't jump on taking care of things immediately. I told her we've been gone lots this week and I haven't had time to deal with it, but it was on my list for this weekend. Geez!!! Pushy, pushy, pushy!

Holly, look at the mom thing from the other side...My dad used to be the same way with me (& Paul) on taking care of household chores/repairs. My dad is gone now, and I soooooo miss him offering the words of encouragement when I have a repair to work on now. it's kinda lonely

Thought I would post a quick hello from Matt and I. We are doing fine, life is very busy.

As some of you saw on facebook, Matt and I are, hopefully, going to Europe next year. One of my classes from school is going to London and Paris for 10 days(5 in each)next year (we get class credit). So since, I am going to be there anyway, Matt will fly in when the others leave (my teacher said we could go early or stay longer), and we will stay a few days and go to Disneyland Paris. However this trip means no cruises for awhile as it will be expensive. We are still going to WDW in Dec. though. Thats the plan, hopefully it works out.

It should be a great trip and a real learning experience as we get to go to alot of store and see how they are run.

I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I can check in more often and see whats up.
