Who ya trying to fool Gaylean??? You had that many drinks before ya woke up!!!![]()

So... you think anyone is going to see THIS wandering around Saratoga Springs??? (Disney's version???)
Yup...it's real... it was wandering down Broadway right before it hit the track...(about 6 weeks short of racing season thought...)

Thanks, it was really great! We both miss Heather, Tom, Bethany, Hope (Heather's mom) and all the cats already. Tyler did NOT want to come home. He's at his dad's already because I asked his dad if he wanted to pick him up a day early since he missed two Saturdays with him, and he's keeping him until late Sunday because of it being Father's Day, so I get a LONG break! The kid really was driving me crazy, and I was ready for him to go. Not misbehaving, but just doing irritating things, repeating things over and over, strange sounds he'd get stuck on and do over and over. I hate to admit it, but I don't have much patience for annoying things kids do.
So we got into Detroit at about 6:15pm, then by the time we waited for our ride, dropped our driver off at his house, and stopped for takeout to eat for supper on the way home, it was close to 9pm when we got home. Then I had to hurry up and mow (just the front yard) because apparently somebody from the city inspected our neighborhood yesterday and was coming back today to make sure everybody mowed (a neighbor told me). THEN I still had to read Tyler's bedtime book to him to get him off to sleep. It was a late night and I was exhausted all day today at work.
Came back to work to find 1 of the 3 people hired recently to replace the 2 who got fired and 1 who quit, decided it's too stressful for her and quit her first week! So that means lots of piled up stuff since I was off all week too. So I offered to work 7am-7pm Wed, Thurs, and Fri this week to try to help get somewhat caught up, or at least put a dent in the piles of work. Job security!
I cleaned the guinea pigs' cage a while ago and they're tearing around it like crazy and making all kinds of noise! I sure did miss those cute little critters!
Yeah, right, like that will ever happen!![]()
Can't sleep!!
Hi Holly. Glad you had a good trip home. What a great vacation you had. So pleased we got to meet up.
You need to get to bed young lady. What time is it there?
Oh, what a relief! This is good to hear. I hope whatever it was doesn't happen again.Who ya trying to fool Gaylean??? You had that many drinks before ya woke up!!!
On a more serious note, I need to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, prayers and PIXIE DUST!!! It worked! They sent mom home a couple of hours ago. The Dr.s are absolutely stumped as to what was causing her pain. All tests were negative, and blood work was fine. Nothing more they could do for her so get the h ell outa here before you get sick with something else! She didnt have pain meds all night and is virtually pain free and sitting in the living room at home with visitors as I type this! She says she feels better than she has in months. And to touch on Nans question once again, it would be VERY unlikely that something such as a sponge or whatnot was left inside of her because her procedure was done orthascopically(sp), so she was never "opened" up so to speak. Just three tiny holes where the camera etc are inserted. Soooo, what the heck was wrong we may never know ! But she is home and feeling 1000 times better! Thanks again EVERYONE!!!!
Well, by now you've read my ramblings. I'm pooped. I still have lots of pictures to upload but don't feel like it today, probably won't fiddle with it until the weekend.Hey Holly...
How was your trip home?
My stepsister and her husband have the same birthday and my stepmom always has to make them separate cakes because they hate sharing their birthday. No funWhen Jon gets home he is going to BBQ and then we are headed to DL to get my gift card but we aren't staying. Jon had a friend that went last night and they said it was horribly crowded and I don't feel like doing that tonight. I'll be celebrating at the river. The problem is my niece is bringing a friend and her b-day is on the day we get to the river so I guess I have to share
