Holly, glad you are having such a good time.

Marilyn, it was great to see you and John! It really was hot today. I can't imagine how people live here! :faint: I'm sorry Tyler was a bit crabby. Fortunately, when it rained, everything cooled off quite a bit and the sun never came back out until after we left (we left about a half hour before the park closed). Tyler's mood improved majorly as the temperature dropped. :thumbsup2 Then after we had lunch, he was pretty happy the rest of the day. I never thought he'd last almost all day long! He certainly wouldn't have lasted much longer though if the heat had continued.

Thanks so much for the POC activity book (and stickers) for Tyler, it actually came in handy as we sat waiting a half hour for the Nemo show to start. :goodvibes What a great show that was! Tyler did enjoy it, but fell asleep shortly after it started, so he missed most of it.

The Dinosaur ride.....yikes! I loved it, but shortly after it started, I knew he would be freaked out. He didn't mind the darkness or the dinosaurs jumping out, the problem was how loud it was. Poor kid. I do have to say though, his face was hilarious in the picture they took! :lmao: He was not amused.

Glad you were able to have a swim later to cool off. Sorry you're leaving FL soon, but you'll be back in just a few short months. :thumbsup2

I didn't notice Tyler was crabby at all. You should have spent time with our 2 grandsons if you wanted crabby.:scared1: I could tell he wanted to get going and not chat or waste time though.:lmao:

There are many favorites. One that stands out is Bali, Indonesia, where we visited the Tanah Lot Temple.

The temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Woody

Wow, that really is breathtaking.

Ian and I went to Aberdeen for my friend's daughter 21st Birthday party at her house... It was so lovely times and we had a good times... weather was crap... raining then sunny then raining and so cold grrrrrr....

I met my brother and two neices... and they did help me with my ipod and one neice gave me over 200 music as she copy it on disc and gave me ... I will upload it later....

Yesterday we were with ex sister in law went to car boot and we end up bought xbox games and playstations games (football) scoccer for kids...

I bought my favourite collection Cheries china orgament... as it was 1 pound..

Today weather still crap, sorry Marilyn as the warm weather gone huh... Please bring the sun with you... tomorrow wink

Scottishwee35

God weekend there Deborah.

I hope I can bring some sun and heat back with me as i am so used to these temperatures now I fear it is going to feel really cold even at a decent UK temp.

Ah well.......in just 3 months we will be on our first full day in Orlando again.:cool1::lmao::cool1:

Oh, I'm so relieved he didn't irritate you! I always worry about that because I never know what to expect with him.

If anybody's interested, I started posting vacation pictures to Tyler's blog (the link is in my signature). :goodvibes

We're off now to the Titanic Experience, then back here this evening to have Monica over for dinner and hanging out at the pool. This is such an awesome vacation! I had no idea how stressed out life was getting, and how much I needed a break from reality until I realized how much fun we've been having. :cloud9:

Happy Monday everybody!

Popping in on my coffee break to get caught up. It was a nice visit with Ken's Mom this weekend, and another visit with the new niece on Saturday. I hogged the baby during her visit, and even did 3 diaper changes, and a clothes change. DSIL had refused to change my kids diapers, so she was expecting that I would not do hers, but I don't care about it, especially when she's only 2 weeks old. DMIL was amused that I was hogging the baby, but I did it nicely, and told her to just take the baby if she wanted to. DMIL went back with them, so she still has 5 days to get all her cuddling in.
I spent yesterday studying and will be studying hard every evening so I can do well in my exam on Thursday. I'm not starting another course until September, so that will be a nice break.

I've got a job interview on June 17th!:thumbsup2 I figure I've got a 50/50 shot at it, so its worth using a vacation day to go to the interview, and if it doesn't happen, I'll be bummed but I'll get over it. I've also got my resume out to a few other jobs, and eventually it will happen.:goodvibes

And Michelle wants lots of posts, so I'll put my next comments into a new post ;)

:goodvibesIts great to see more people back posting again!
Hi Woody!

Hi Gaylean! Where are you getting these morbid questions? I'll play along.

Nope - couldn't murder to stop world hunger; I probably could if there was a 100% guarantee that it would work, but that's impossible, so nope, I wouldn't do it.

Next one - $1000000 to stop talking to bf. Well, if it was just no talking, then sure I'd survive by writing notes ;)

Last one - pick one member of family to die, or let someone else choose. Okay, can't stand the thought of this one, but I can only picture this happening in an end of the world type situation, and Ken's physically stronger, so I'd pick me and leave him to save the girls.

Will all the wildfires over the last few years, and people evacuating, have any of you ever planned out what you would do if you had to evacuate your house? Ken and I talked about that a couple years ago. We both had the same thoughts. Kids into the car first, and they each get one toy. Then we grab computer (so many pictures are on it) and then photos off walls & photoalbums.

next batch of comments will be another new post! See Michelle, I'm' doing my part to move it along!;)

Holly - happy to hear that you and Tyler are having a great time!

Marilyn - hope you & John have a good trip home!

Monica - it sounds like you are having fun visiting everybody

Deb - hope you have a nice visit with Kris and start to feel better soon

And now I'm out of time and must get back to work. :sad2:

Oh I forgot to tell you that you can't pick yourself.

The question of the day is:

You are in a cave, with a stranger, and no one can save you for 30 hours. You can both live for 20 hours if you take sleeping pills. The stranger takes the pills and says "It's in God's hands now" and goes to sleep. You have a pistol, do you shoot them or risk both of you dying? OK now put yourself with your child and a stranger. Would you do it to save your child?

I have no option because I couldn't pull the trigger but I would want to save my child.

Good luck on your interview. I applied for two jobs but haven't heard anything back yet.

Holly, I loved seeing Tyler's blog. Very cool. Keep the stories and pictures coming. I'm so glad you're having a great time. Hugs to Heather and Tom and Bethany. Bethany got so big too. Wow.

Marilyn and John, have a safe trip back home and it won't be long until you're back again.

Nan, tell Speed that you have to lose some to learn how to win even more. He handled it like a pro and better days are coming.

Shannon, do you have a picture of your new little niece? Good luck on the interview. The right one will work out for you.

Gaylean, where are you getting these questions? I could never hurt anybody for any reason....so no to the first question. No to the second question also. My best friend is John and I could never stop talking to him....not for any amount of money. The third question is unfair...there's only me and John in my family and if I can't pick myself then it would have to be him. I don't think I could live with that though. The fourth question is also easy because I don't have a kid to worry about. If it's between me and a stranger. Then I would say that we should both go to sleep and pray. I could not hurt them.

Hi Michelle, Hi Deborah, Hi Monica. Hi Jackie and Woody.

Connie, I'm SO HAPPY for you! And you don't have long to wait either. That's got to be great. Just enough time to plan, pack and go. You better take pictures to post for us. We'll be thinking of you. Have a blast!!!

I'm so hungry, but I'm so afraid to eat. I'm feeling ok right now and I don't want to make it worse again. Maybe I'll try an english muffin. That's pretty bland.

At least I'm getting it all out of my system now so that I can be healthy....hopefully.....for September. I definitely need to be back on Mickey's ship.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:WHOO WHOO! I just booked a 7 night Disney Eastern Caribbean for Patrick, Chuck and I !!!! We leave July 5th!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I'm jealous! But I hope you have fun!

Good luck on your interview. I applied for two jobs but haven't heard anything back yet.

Good luck! Can you get this year's job back again?

No good pics of Emily to share, but here's a picture of Shaelyn & Kaleigh with the blanket that Shaelyn made for Emily. She was very excited to do it, and just needed some help from Mom to pin the fuzzy back to the pretty front with the quilt binding to hold it together.
