Well, mom and I are venturing out tonight... I need to go find a decent pair of sneakers... the ones I got last year for the cruise are so crappy I've gone back to wearing my older crappy ones with more support... (they are also toned green because I used to cut the grass in them too...)





Oh and Ian... the D A M N birds are ignoring the D A M N birdbath...

I highly recommend Columbia. I bought some before the recent trip to WDW, and they were lighter, cooler and much more comfortable than any sneakers I've ever had. I walked an average of 12 miles a day and my feet never bothered me at all.

I have read and caught up on all the pages since I was sick.I was really sick. They ended up testing me for Swine Flu, but it was negitive.

My fingers still hurt some, but are healing.

We are on the way to the beach and Daniel is driving and I am on the blackberry. Weather is supposed to be perfect and I hope to meet up with John and Deb this weekend.

I think we are going to have lunch, but everything is beach food... Read MEGA calories. I would bring them to my house for lunch, but I have my mom with me and she does not like me...more or less someone she has never met.She would be as mean as a snake!

Daniel bought this new gum. Orbit Mint Mojito. If you like Mojitos, try it!!

Oh dear

just back from sick children hospital

Olivia was so grumpy all day and her left eye all red and swollen... then I noticed it still water running all day and I knew it as I had it before mean eye scratched...

I phoned the doctor and had to taken her to kids sick hospital and yes it was scratch near her eyeball!!! They gave her eye drop and dye her eye to see if any scratch right enough... oohh it is very painful and now she is sleeping at it was 10 pm tonight...

Dad (& his embolism (or however it's spelled)) made it home safe & sound...now hopefully Mom will get him to go to the dr's asap.

Hey Everybody!!!! You have no idea how jealous I am of all of you getting together!!!! I wanted to come so badly. But it is a good thing I didn't. I was sick and in the bed all day that day. So that would have been bad to say the least. Everybody looks wonderful!!!! Wahhhhhh!!!!!!

I'm sure they'll give you your own bowl w/o dressing. I've asked before for salad w/ very little dressing & they've done that. I always ask for dressing on the side now & do what Ian said...dip fork into dressing then get salad.

Glad you're feeling better! I've never had the flu and never want it after seeing Tyler battle it last year. Crazy stuff! Glad your fingers are on the mend too!

I never forget that we came home after Disney Med 07 and we find out that Ian's best friend died of heart attack he was very young... We were shocking to hear about it.

My son says he is staying where he is for now, and hoping to find work somewhere.

Shannon, yes I've planned a trip to Alberta in August. At this point I'm still planning on going. Of course, if my son gets a new job he may not be able to get the time off Sometimes you just have to have faith I guess. I'm hoping he gets a job AND the week off work!

Tomorrow after work I'm going to Olive Garden with a few friends, so I looked up the Venetian chicken to find out what it is. Thanks to Venetia for posting to Deb about it! I don't think I'd like it though, so I'm going to stick with the minestrone soup and absolutely have to allow myself ONE breadstick. I'd love the salad, but read how much fat is in the dressing! YIKES! I'll ask if they can possibly give me some before the dressing gets mixed in, but I can't imagine eating straight veggies like that. Yuck. I'll try though! Wish me luck!

Wow it has been terrible weather this afternoon and evening. It was quite scary driving to the airport as it was fierce rain. Once back at the villa it was nice enough for the children to have a good swim/play in the pool, but it has rained all evening. Some of us went to DTD and there were enormous puddles - most of which we managed to walk in in the dark!!! Oh, I wish it would clear up - I'm fed up now.

Marilyn, I am sorry that you have had bad weather, especially when your family has just arrived I hope it has improved by now??

Are you off to the parks tomorrow? Everyone must be SO excited!!!
