NO No no......I'm going through the let down all over again.:sad1::sad1:This had to be the lowest point of our trip. Now I could almost cry again.:sad2:

Does anyone know if DCL still serves this ugly thing?

Pretty cool trip when a dessert is the lowest point...

I'd have to say Acapulco was the low point for us.

And on this day last year I sat with some pretty neat people to watch a pretty cool "show".

Back from my Sunday morning WW meetings and having my lunch now. It was tough to get back in the swing of things. It was gratifying though and good to see members.

We celebrated one member having lost 51 pounds so far. She's about halfway to goal, but I was so proud because it has all happened with me as her leader.

This morning was the moment of truth. I weighed in. I had not weighed myself since the Sunday before we left for vacation.

My vacation goal had been to allow myself a gain of up to 2 pounds and that's all. So, I was going to find out if I had only gained 2 pounds during our WDW or had gained more than that.

I found out that I LOST 1.8 pounds, so that's not bad with having been away all that time, plus the Mickey bars, and Ghiradelli sundaes.

I was still very careful while I was away, paying particular attention to not throwing away points on breakfast or lunch. Plus there was the 11 to 12 miles of walking a day. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Great job Ian, It just shows that having a plan before you went does work. Which did you use. was it storyboarding? Having a plan, being aware and all your walking worked for your success. Bravo to you.
And to your member on the 51 lbs. What a great achievment.

Gee, I'm having a hard time with that. I was thinking Cole, Calvin, tons of boys names -but girl names just don't come to mind yet. :confused3

I just got back from a school auction. Crazy money being thrown around, but all for the kids school so that is good. Personal parking spot went for $16k. A dinner for 8 that was just described as "Red" - everything will be red - went for $18k. A few moms and I went together to offer a live item that is for 5 couples called "Valentine's in Vegas" - it is for a night out in Vegas, renewing vows, table service, etc. It went for $11k. I did a couple small items, but nothing to big. I would have MUCH rather hung out with you all in Rockin Bar smoking candy ciggies. Now THAT is my idea of a party! :woohoo:

Chloe????

& I like Penny Auctions... it's amazing how excited I get when I win other peoples junk... :lmao:

Good Morning

Oh my head..... I am a bit hangover this morning...

I know no pity to me....

I was out with Alison for meal and drinks...

I think I drank too much wines....

wish never drank wines...

never again.....

UNtil next week... :rotfl:

Nan You were cheating ::yes::

:scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:

Sigh ... I suppose things are back to normal. I am up early on a Sunday and about to head out the door to lead my 3 WW meetings.

On the plus side, it means that that extra pay is coming in. It goes directly into my "Mickey Money Fund!"

Do you lend?

Oops, upset the queen now.

Yes, some of us had a chat with Michelle, and Barb too!!!!!!! It was great to heat their voices.

Another thing I forgot to mention was that Gydell is almost a whole person less!!! She has lost 86 lbs!!! She looks fantastic.

Everyone else looked great too!!!

Monica showed us a different way back to the villa so we didn't have to pay tolls. We hardly stopped at a traffic light at all, very smooth running.

Marilyn.. you forgot to add these... :worship::worship::worship::worship:

& isn't it nice to run around with the locals??? I can get you to the REAL Saratoga Springs in just 17 miles and 2 turns... :thumbsup2 (well, from MY house...)

Hi Guys, I've been thinking about all of you so much this week! I just went through about 50 pages of catch up. sounds like everyone has been doing so much.

A big Congrats to Lisa and Quentin! I'm so glad to hear this news.

Deb, it sounds like you are really doing well w/WW. Sorry about John's job!

Ian, Sukie and Cherie - sounds like you had a great, great time all of you in separate places. Hope Sukie is feeling better, I noticed no nose ring.

sounds like the Floridians had a nice get together!!

Monica, glad your trip went well, sorry about the sick leave.

Nan, wow, so much is going on up there. sounds like Wilson is going fast, Molly is doing great and good news about Paul's work. Sorry, your mom and sisters not so good.

And apparently, Marilyn has moved to WDW permanently because it was pages and pages of their fabulous trip!!!

We've been unbelievably busy here. We're launching several new divisions of our company and program this summer. One is for homeschoolers that I specifically did because of all of my relationships I've made here on the Dis with my home school families. I've been working hard on our website and webinars that we will begin this summer as well. We're using the same program they used on the show 24. I worked on the spring benefit as well that sucked the life out of me. We too had the crazy buying by families. They had tkts to Oprah and a ride on an aircraft carrier in Coronado that went for $21K!!!!! I bought ballet lessons and that was it. Good thing they weren't depending on me to keep the school rolling.

Hard to believe it has been a year already. Which day did we go through the canal?

HI Kelly!!! (Glad to hear I don't have to send out the search party for you guys... ) Miss you!!!

Just a reminder about what a lot of us ordered one year ago today:

Nooooooooooo!!!!! How disappointing was that?????

I still haven't had a proper slipper dessert.:sad2: I thought that was going to be it as did all the ladies on our table.

You truely are our leader too....you're leading us by example of your success and by support, info, encouragement, perspective, positiveness, etc. I know that I would not be doing this if it was not for you Ian. With your help, I am successful.

Oh dear, that just means lots of fruitty fatty boozy drinks for you all the way to Tortola and back. ;)

Thank you. I mean it.

Oh yea, Congratulations on LOSING on your vaca....way to go! Such an inspiration....showing us how it can be done.:hug::hug:

The tools I used were storyboarding and mental rehearsal, particularly rehearsal for the lunches. I benefited because we were in in a DVC resort and had breakfast in everyday.

I think being active also helped, because I was racking up 10 to 12 activity points a day. When you consider that my base is 28 points a day, and then between my weekly and activity points had 113 extra points for the week, that was quite a bit to play with.

Very well done Ian!!!:thumbsup2

:worship::worship::worship::worship::worship: to Michelle.

You want Lisa to call her daughter Penny Auctions?:lmao::lmao:

......hahahahaha......I thought the same thing at first Marilyn. Too funny!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Michelle, I also thought of Chloe. Like minds as they say.

Oh a whim, we're headed around the corner to see "Angels and Demons."

It's smelling really good in my house. John's crock pot meal for this weekend is cooking. He's making lean roast beef in beef broth with potatoes, corn and tomatoes. He's been cooking it for hours already and it won't be done for many hours still. This is the hard part. Smelling it all day long. uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm!

I've been IMing with Tom and Kris. They seem to both be doing well. I'm so glad to hear.

Tom is living near Vero beach with Sandi's Aunt Marge....her mom's side of the family. He went back to high school. He went to his prom and sent us pictures. He signed up for the National Guard upon graduation next weekend. He already spent a weekend with them while training for boot camp. He wants to study EMT for 2 years and then go on to study firefighting for the next 2. He said he wants to get out in 4 years and become a firefighter. YEAH! He's moving in the right direction finally. He has apolgized for everything that happened while he was in PA....many times. I'm happy for him.

Kris wants to come up here for 2 weeks in June for vacation. He worked it out with me and John. He wants to come to Emerils with us on Fathers Day. Now it's just up to Sandi and Joe. We'll see what they say.

The boys are doing well. :goodvibes

Bubba just said the same thing to me. "your killing me with all the smells in our house today" I'm making a big pot of 1 point chili and it smell soooo good.

Monica took quite a few, but she must be busy today. I hope her dad is ok.

Yea, I'm sure Monica has other things on her mind today. Prayers and Pixie Dust for Dad Mon. I'm keeping him and your whole family in my thoughts.
