Bubba just said the same thing to me. "your killing me with all the smells in our house today" I'm making a big pot of 1 point chili and it smell soooo good.

I LOVE it when that happens. It's like growing up days at home. Good memories.

I know that you have posted it before, but I wasn't doing WW then so I didn't pay any mind.....but NOW I would LOVE to have the recipe. John makes a mean chili too. We need to revise our recipe now. We could make that next weekend. Could you please repost your recipe?

You and Bubba enjoy every bite of it!;)

Boating: Yes, Karen (Custard Tart) has already thrown down a Sea Raycer challenge...Bay Lake Towers vs Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

Oh what fun, please do let us know who wins that challenge.

Deb, I've rented mine at Ft Wilderness, partially because you start out on the bigger, less populated therefore less traffic lake. So you can zip around and get the 'feel' for your boat. It might be a good spot for the VWL team to start, if we are each wanting our own boat too.

Good one, we'll try it. We have rented at the Contemporary and Downtown. We have never tried the Lodge. Thanks.

Deb, Peg and Jose will be there after the cruise, perhaps you should throw down a challenge to them.

John says, do it, do it! I will have to challenge Peg on the Tortola thread. Great idea Jackie.

Dole Whip....a frozen pineapple concotion (sort of frozen yogerty/soft serve like) that is beyond yummy. Points? I turn that over to Ian. I'd just count it as 'treat of the day'. You can get them at Captain Cook's, the counter service place at the Polly (Ian says it's SELF SERVE!). I've only had them at Disneyland.

Oh they sound divine! John's favorite is tropical fruit too. He'll love them as well. We will have to seek them out in Sept. We want to do a dinner at O'hana anyway. I should be booking that soon....along with the Princess meal at the castle. John says maybe we should do dinner instead of lunch.....fine with me.

We had a great time at Connie's, and she was a fab hostess. We had wonderful food and Connie looked after us all so well. They have a lovely home full of great Disney souvenirs and interesting pieces.

There were Connie, Chuck and Patrick, Lisa and Darrell, Kathe, Gydell, Monica, John and Me, some neighbours of Connie's who were DCL cruisers and Disney mad too!!, and a couple from Wales who had cruised with Connie before. Great group.

I took photos, but can't post yet, but I am sure Monica will do so VERY SOON!!! There was lots of reminiscing, chat about the Baltic as Gydell and Lisa are going next year and wanted to hear all about Monica's trip, and some looking at photos, which included some very cute ones of Kathe's grandaughter Serenity.

I'm very full!!!

Thank you Connie and Chuck.

Thank you Marilyn. What a great summary. It's almost like we were there with you.:lovestruc:lovestruc:hug::hug:

Hi Guys, I've been thinking about all of you so much this week! I just went through about 50 pages of catch up. sounds like everyone has been doing so much.

A big Congrats to Lisa and Quentin! I'm so glad to hear this news.

Deb, it sounds like you are really doing well w/WW. Sorry about John's job!

Ian, Sukie and Cherie - sounds like you had a great, great time all of you in separate places. Hope Sukie is feeling better, I noticed no nose ring.

sounds like the Floridians had a nice get together!!

Monica, glad your trip went well, sorry about the sick leave.

Nan, wow, so much is going on up there. sounds like Wilson is going fast, Molly is doing great and good news about Paul's work. Sorry, your mom and sisters not so good.

And apparently, Marilyn has moved to WDW permanently because it was pages and pages of their fabulous trip!!!

We've been unbelievably busy here. We're launching several new divisions of our company and program this summer. One is for homeschoolers that I specifically did because of all of my relationships I've made here on the Dis with my home school families. I've been working hard on our website and webinars that we will begin this summer as well. We're using the same program they used on the show 24. I worked on the spring benefit as well that sucked the life out of me. We too had the crazy buying by families. They had tkts to Oprah and a ride on an aircraft carrier in Coronado that went for $21K!!!!! I bought ballet lessons and that was it. Good thing they weren't depending on me to keep the school rolling.

Hard to believe it has been a year already. Which day did we go through the canal?

Hi Kelly. So good to hear from you. Thanks for your kind words.

How exciting this time is for you and Jonathan....launching into new divisions. You're doing such a great thing for so many kids. Keep up the good work you two!

Very good!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I didn't realize until we were home that I didn't get in any of the pictures on my camera. I think I might be in one of Monica's.

Back from my Sunday morning WW meetings and having my lunch now. It was tough to get back in the swing of things. It was gratifying though and good to see members.

We celebrated one member having lost 51 pounds so far. She's about halfway to goal, but I was so proud because it has all happened with me as her leader.

This morning was the moment of truth. I weighed in. I had not weighed myself since the Sunday before we left for vacation.

My vacation goal had been to allow myself a gain of up to 2 pounds and that's all. So, I was going to find out if I had only gained 2 pounds during our WDW or had gained more than that.

I found out that I LOST 1.8 pounds, so that's not bad with having been away all that time, plus the Mickey bars, and Ghiradelli sundaes.

I was still very careful while I was away, paying particular attention to not throwing away points on breakfast or lunch. Plus there was the 11 to 12 miles of walking a day. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Wow Ian, how awesome to lose when you figured you'd gain a bit! Way to go!!! :yay:

You truely are our leader too....you're leading us by example of your success and by support, info, encouragement, perspective, positiveness, etc. I know that I would not be doing this if it was not for you Ian. With your help, I am successful.

Oh dear, that just means lots of fruitty fatty boozy drinks for you all the way to Tortola and back. ;)

Thank you. I mean it.

Oh yea, Congratulations on LOSING on your vaca....way to go! Such an inspiration....showing us how it can be done.:hug::hug:
I agree, I wouldn't have started either if it weren't for all the helpful tips Ian shares, which made me finally realize it's doable. Thanks Ian!

Wow Lisa, that cake is incredible....truely a work of art. You are so very talented. Awesome!

Thank you for sharing your pictures. I LOVE seeing everyone. You got some great shots....minus yourself of course. Hope to see you too in Monica's pics.

I've been IMing with Tom and Kris. They seem to both be doing well. I'm so glad to hear.

Tom is living near Vero beach with Sandi's Aunt Marge....her mom's side of the family. He went back to high school. He went to his prom and sent us pictures. He signed up for the National Guard upon graduation next weekend. He already spent a weekend with them while training for boot camp. He wants to study EMT for 2 years and then go on to study firefighting for the next 2. He said he wants to get out in 4 years and become a firefighter. YEAH! He's moving in the right direction finally. He has apolgized for everything that happened while he was in PA....many times. I'm happy for him.

Kris wants to come up here for 2 weeks in June for vacation. He worked it out with me and John. He wants to come to Emerils with us on Fathers Day. Now it's just up to Sandi and Joe. We'll see what they say.

The boys are doing well. :goodvibes

Glad to hear that Deb... Sounds like he just needed to grow up a little.. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This great news Deb!

Great pictures of the party!!! And my cruise buddy Gydell was hanging down south too!

HI Kelly!!! (Glad to hear I don't have to send out the search party for you guys... ) Miss you!!!
I've been thinking about you guys all darned week, it was killing me not to log on.

Hi Kelly. So good to hear from you. Thanks for your kind words.

How exciting this time is for you and Jonathan....launching into new divisions. You're doing such a great thing for so many kids. Keep up the good work you two!

thanks Deb. It feels weird to be moving forward when so many other businesses are going backwards. It will be nice to see if the money follows the forward motion. It has been a major undertaking because of the high tech language. Each time I attempt to do something internet related it is a new sentence with 5 new words I have to look up. I'm trying to build everything myself without paying someone else to do it and its kicking my butt... I'm sure if I had a 16 year they could do it in 5 min. -- I do in 2 days:scared1::scared1:

The funniest thing is that I wouldn't have launched into the home school market if it wasn't for the disboards. People like TracyVP really helped me.

Zoe keeps asking when we are taking another Disney cruise... $$$$$$$. She still doesn't get how expensive her school is. I say its like having 160 new American Girl Dolls each year. :rotfl: This tuition is killing us, but she has thrived there. :scared1::scared1:

This great news Deb!

Thanks Holly and Michelle too. I'm relieved. And I think you're right Michelle, Tom just needed to grow up a little. I think that happened when he got kicked out of his mom's house and his friends' house after he returned there from here. I think Aunt Marge was his last resort. I'm glad he's making it work.

I found this link with nutritional information:

and

I calculated points based on a 1 cup serving of Pineapple Dole Whip, which would be a hefty serving.

I calculate that 1 cup Dole Whip = 3 points

Which is pretty damn good if you ask me!

I calculate that 1 cup of Dole Whip Pineapple and Vanilla swirl would be 4 points.

You're doing the right thing. It's so important for Zoe, especially if she's doing so well. Consider doing the Wonder WBPC in 2011. Not sure of the sailing dates yet, but there is a thread already. It gives you more time to start a cruise fund. Many of our Thieves will be onboard.

Great pics Lisa and what a cool cake! Wow! :goodvibes

Venetia, thanks for posting the chili again. I didn't pay attention before because I wasn't doing WW yet, but now I'm going to give it a try, possibly this weekend as a reward for when I get my house cleaned up! :thumbsup2
