Oh, welcome to my world! The attorneys I work for are work comp attorneys.

I hope changing the set up at your desk takes care of the problem. Sorry you're having this pain. Hopefully being on vacation will give your body the rest it needs and you can start with a new set up when you return. Did you make a doctor appointment to get checked out?

Somehow I double-posted, so I'll just have to change this one.

I managed to get through Costco today, twice. I bought some shorts, brought them home and decided I didn't like them, so I returned them.

We are nearly all packed for the trip, just some last minute stuff to pack on the day, such as the coffee we bring with us (we like the brand we buy) and the last of Sukie's mustache implements.

Packing was not nearly as nerve wracking as it tends to be, we only had 37 arguments in the process rather than our usual 91. That's nearly a 2/3 reduction.

My only remaining tasks are charging/conditioning all of the camera batteries, that should take up the remaining 5 days before we leave.

 Michelle, I'm sorry you've gone through and are going through all of that, but grateful that you have so many helpful tips to share with Ian (and anybody else here who may need it).

Michelle, that sounds a nightmare. Plus you have other painful things too. Poor you.

We fly over on Sept 7th, have 5 nights at SSR, then do the 2 back to back cruises, then 1 week at BCV and 2 weeks in a villa fairly close top Connie's.

John had the idea if we were paying for the flights we might as well make it worth while! He was the one who decided on the length of the stay surprisingly.

Do you bring your own Marmite or do you buy it in Florida?

I just had a 2 1/2 hour nap and it sure was nice! I really wanted to spend today cleaning our house, but somehow, I'd just run out of steam, I guess. But I just invited one of Tyler's friends over tomorrow, so now I have no choice. I guess that's the motivation I need. Will clean tonight after we return from playing at another friend's house. :thumbsup2

Hey Ian, aren't you supposed to be packing and getting ready for vacation?

Hello, I'm here, for a minute. I have Brooke's first campout with girl scouts. We'll see how it goes.

Shannon, I hope the girls get better so they can come running when Ken gets home ;)

Holly, I'm glad the points are working for you. I've decided to join online because I can't make the meetings. We'll see how that goes. I'll keep you all updated. I haven't gained any of the weight back that I lost so I'm happy about that. Now to lose some more.

Deborah and Marilyn, I miss you too. I just can't get on as much anymore. Maybe tomorrow will be a lazy day. Marilyn have fun on your trip.

Michelle, good luck for whatever it is.

And I'm sure there is more but I'm lost so I'll try and catch up with you all tomorrow.

Hi Bubba and V. I know you're out there ;)

of course we out here. Bubba had to go to work today for inventory, now we are going to make a Costco run and might have to do the grocery store too as we just decided that we are going to DL tomorrow. :woohoo:

Spring is over.

It was a very warm day here in the upper '70's.

I was outside a little while ago and it was really warm and humid. I ran out to the drugstore to pick up some stuff for the trip. It was raining, but nothing severe. They didn't have what I wanted so I decided to walk over about 6 blocks to another drugstore.

During my walk, it sudden felt like someone had turned on the air conditioning. At first there were little bursts of cold air and then WHOOSH! It sudden got rather chilly, all in the space of about 7 minutes.

I was out in just a t-shirt.

I did find what I wanted but then had about a 12 block walk home. I think it must have dropped from about 75 to 50 degrees in that space of 8 minutes or so.

Happy Saturday everybody! Ken should be home soon and the girls are blowing bubbles in the backyard, and now I need to go clean the kitchen.

Holly - a hedgehog is a delicious chocolate shaped like a little hedgehog animal. Its creamy milk chocolate with a creamy hazelnut centre (much like a truffle). I've had a box since Christmas and just opened it last week.

Gaylean - welcome to the online world of WW

Ian - I hope your arm/hand is feeling better. Hopefully the changes to your work station will prevent it from happening again.

I really like the reusable bags too. But if I used them for groceries, I'd have to buy plastic bags anyway for garbage. :headache:

Holly, I am using my reusable bags and bin. I still need plastic bags for my garbage too. The ones we are selling for 5 cents if you want them to pack your groceries in, are actually cheaper that way than buying a box of them off the shelf,so I can just purchase enough every couple of weeks for garbage :thumbsup2

Hello, I'm here, for a minute. I have Brooke's first campout with girl scouts. We'll see how it goes.

Gaylean, good luck to Brooke, I'm sure she will have a great time! Are you going too? I can't remember what stories I've told over the last year so I hope I'm not repeating myself  I still remember the 1st camping trip my daughter Sara had with girl scouts. It was in May and I went along to help out.We only went for 2 nights, but the 2nd morning she said she was sick and I had to call her dad to come and get her.It was snowing! Of course, I had to stay to help take down tents, clean, supervise...:headache::lmao:

Oooooh! We're getting our first storms of the season today, tonight, and tomorrow! Supposed to be severe storms today and tonight. I love thunderstorms (as long as they don't cause the power to go out)! :goodvibes

Hi Holly! It's been raining and thunderstorms here off and on since late afternoon. A couple power surges at work, but lights came back on. We've been under a thunderstorm warning for a while now. I don't mind when it rains hard, but I don't like the lightning!

It's that schizophrenic weather again! :rotfl2:

Sounds like a good plan!

Our storms are still going strong. They've been on and off too, and a new one is going on right now. I love thunder and lightning!

Happy Saturday and Happy Sunday everyone!!!

Shannon, sounds like the girls are feeling better :goodvibes Funny you should mention bubbles, I have them on my list of things to buy this weekend. Serenity is coming for a sleep over Tuesday night. It's supposed to be nice and sunny and warm on Wednesday so I thought that might be a fun thing to do! So your weather is nice today then?

You experienced WW folks probably know about this, but just in case, here's a link a friend shared with me when we were at her house tonight: [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]http://www.dwlz.com/restaurants.html

Tons and tons of restaurants with points figured out for their menus. Not sure how accurate it is though, but it's fun to look things up!

Oh great, they'll be here shortly then! It had stopped raining here for a little bit, and just now as I'm typing this it has started to pour again...not long till your thunder will be mine

This round lasted about 2 hours. Ours is done for now, but supposed to be more tonight and tomorrow. :thumbsup2
