It has been a busy day, and it's only past noon here!

We've run all of our usual Saturday errands, had the dogs groomed, and I cleaned out our storage locker in the basement.

After this last trip, I decided I had enough of cheap luggage. I got sick of one of the bags not being able to stand and falling over.

I added the third piece of our rolling duffles to complete the set. Very very sturdy, pack and travel well, and threw out ALL of the rest of the cheap bags that were in the locker. I kept a very good Atlantic carry on that I use for business and an Atlantic rolling garment bag that I use for business (and tuxes) and pitched everything else.

It was like a suitcase graveyard, and most of it in bad condition, ripped, broken zippers, etc. I'm not quite sure why I was hanging on to them to begin with.

Also now everything matches. Which doesn't make much of a difference, but will be so pleasant when either Jackie or Cheri stays inside all day at the Wilderness Lodge to do all the laundry.

Ian, I've missed you and our Saturday morning chats. .....haha....too funny!

It looks great, Paul did a nice job...but I'm suffering from too much partying with the girls last night

DO TELL....we want all the spicy details....

call me too, can you have mutliple people on the phone???? :dance3:

How fun that will be....and don't forget Michelle and me too and....:rolleyes1

After all that talk about coffee and pastries, me and John enjoyed our Sat morning chat with 8 O'Clock coffee and deserts from Olive Garden. I was so in the mood after all that talking. I did good too because I only ate half of my slice of cheesecake....11 points. I'll eat a lot of 0-1 point food today and all will work out well. The best part is that I get to do it again tomorrow morning. It's a good weekend.

I do associate happiness with food....and in my Greek family with my mother and grandmother....it was love too. I never want to give that up. I will definitely reward my successes with food. But it will be well planned out and under control. No more spontaneous eating for me. No more overeating either. It's easy to stay on target with the WW plan. If you just stick to their program, you've got it covered. It just takes a little prep work before eating. I like to think about what I'm going to eat first and then log it online. So it's already counted before it goes in my mouth. Then I relax and enjoy eating it. I had a small panic last night at the drive in because I ate half a funnel cake without knowing the points value. Even though I knew I had all my weekly points still available. So my personal mantra is....log it before you eat it. It works for me.

Good morning everybody! Well, it's morning for me at least! :lmao: I pulled one of my sleep all day things. But it was planned. I went to bed around 11pm (very early for me on a Friday) and set my alarm for 4pm. I had 4 phone calls to return, an hungry guinea pig, and a hungry ME! ;)

Had a quick breakfast, fed poor Oreo, returned phone calls, read pages on here and am about to hop into the shower. My plan to finally do a good cleaning didn't happen, maybe tonight or tomorrow, but I doubt it because I'm usually doing fun things with Tyler. Next weekend, I'll have NO excuse though. Tyler's dad gets him for Memorial Day, so I told him he's welcome to just keep him straight through the weekend. I plan on staying home all weekend and CLEANING until my whole house is in great shape. Then if I have time, I will organize the garage. Then if I still have time, will work on the yard. :thumbsup2

I wish I were going to Connie's house with everybody else who will be there today, but am looking forward to pictures! Everybody else.....HAVE A GREAT DAY! :cool1:

No big plans for us this weekend I mowed our front yard and side last night after work, in the rain, before too many mosquitos attacked me, and plan on doing the back yard today while Tyler plays on his playset. Tomorrow we will try to rent "Bedtime Stories" and will hang around the house, maybe do some backyard cleanup and I might not have to do that next weekend. :yay:

Catch you all later! :grouphug:

I have uploaded the photos of our recent vacation in Disney World for anyone interested in holiday snapshots.

Sometimes we take photos of details. I tend to use these as wallpaper on my computer.

My current wall paper is the mosaic floor at Wine Country Trattoria in Disney's California Adventure. At work, people are always commenting on my desktop wallpaper. There are several photos from this trip that are going to be wallpaper for me.

At any rate, here's the link:

THE BEST MOTHER'S DAY EVER!!!! :goodvibes

Great pictures! I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. Ours was low key and restful--that's what happens when everyone lives 600 miles away.

Holly: you said there are two Coke games. The one to win $20 is hard to find and I keep forgetting to play. Where do I find the other one?

:grouphug: to all

I'm only devoting HALF A DAY to laundry, mister! That morning should be devoted to whichever park got short changed during the week and then I'll need that DOLE WHIP from the Polly to make it through the afternoon! :thumbsup2

.
I just got back from my office brunch thingie and did pretty well on the eating part. NO SUGAR of any kind (the lemonade was made with Splenda). I had four boiled shrimp with one teaspoon cocktail sauce, a slice of ham, about a 1 1/2 piech of grilled sausage, fresh fruit, an asparagus, pea and radish salad (oh YUM) and a very small slice of beef. Lots of good choices available! The only desert was cookies (like the ones with jam in the middle), so I was easily able to walk away knowing I could have a mint Skinny Cow when I got home.:thumbsup2

Ian, loved the photos.....I didn't know bats could DO THAT! :scared1:

YEAH! It has been, hasn't it. Well, it's Summer. I don't want to go out in the Winter. Plus there's way more stuff to do in the Summer.

Next weekend is a beach weekend. We're staying in Ocean City, MD....which is right down the road from my favorite beach and Lisa's/DL5....Bethany Beach in Delaware. We'll be there. Oh and we HAVE to have a meal at the Greene Turtle. http://www.greeneturtle.com/ ........Nan, you're going to love this site, check it out.

Yup, lots to do in the Summer....busy and fun.

I'll be toasting my water to you all at 6pm tonight. You're going to have such a good time. I'm so excited for you. I know some cameras will be there so we'll be sharing. Have a blast and HUG EVERYONE from me and John. :grouphug::grouphug:

Bravo! Good for you! Well done at the brunch.

Regarding our last day before the cruise, we are staying in the MK neighborhood.

A little motor boating could also be a rather grand activity.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE.....and I don't know why....

.

They sort of look alike, don't you think? The expression in the eyes? The gray in Sukie's shirt matches Eyore, and the droop of Sukie's mustache matches the droop of Eyore's ears.

A sort of symmetry to the composition.

You know, a good thing, aside from the company, is that in September we can pass cameras around!

Maybe Sukie and I can be in a photograph at the same time!
