It is a special weekend for us too - our Ruby wedding anniversary is on Sunday. We aren't having a party but are doing loads of things over the weekend. Meal out, breakfast out, afternoon tea out, meal at our son and daughter in law's. Very nice!!!

Can't believe it is 40 years. Makes me feel very old. Been a great 40 years though.

Marilyn, that's a real milestone  I hope you have a wonderful weekend :goodvibes

Hey Wow! You guys remember me! LOL. Just a joke because I am never here anymore on this thread.

Well, I start back to work on Monday. It is a bummer because I have been enjoying being home. I can't go to Gatlinburg, real bummer, since I will be getting back to work and Gatlinburg is 4 hours away.

The kids had a great time on the cruise. I did have a bit of a mishap as my left knee swelled up on the cruise and I ended up having to go to the hospital in Cozumel and have alot of fluid removed. This was an interesting excursion in Cozumel. LOL.

This convinced me to start taking the rheumatoid arthritis medicine that the doctors have recommended. I have been resisting it so much. But hopefully I can get it under control.

Thanks for all the shout outs!!!!!! I miss all you guys. I am so jealous that a bunch of you are getting together in September. Boo Hoo:sad2:

I wish you could join us too

I'm glad you are so content together Deb and John. It sounds like you have a lovely weekend planned - I love fireworks. A winery sounds a great addition too!!:)

Ruby? I thought that 40 years was the Jam Butty anniversary.

Or for me. Just another 2 day weekend. But Gay and Jon are coming the following weekend.:woohoo:
That sucks about not getting an extra day off. Our employer said they have to give it to us because it's in the employment policy that they give us a certain number of paid holidays off, so if they didn't give us Friday off, we'd miss out on that paid holiday. :thumbsup2

I'm back to tracking again today. 21 points remaining for the rest of the day. I got on the scale this morning, but I didn't log it. I gained 1 lb. I have a long way to go in the other direction so I can't afford to blow it now. I need to keep it moving forward. I'm back on the program.

Anyone else track their food today?
Way to go Deb! :thumbsup2

No tracking for me today. I didn't go grocery shopping until after work today, so I had an empty fridge and all unhealthy choices at work. But I'm stocked up now! I just spent the most I've ever spent in one grocery trip. :scared1:

Thanks Chelle. I can't give up the ship. I gotta keep pushing forward. I especially have to do it for my leg. It is getting much better again. I have not had it wrapped in a couple of months. It doesn't leak. Losing weight has helped and I still keep my legs up, so it works. I've got to continue losing to keep making it better.
So good to hear about your leg improving! :goodvibes Way to go!

Good, you'll be able to track tomorrow.

I spent the most I've ever spent in one grocery trip my first time out buying WW products. Since then I've just added to what I have already got so it's not as bad.

Of course everybody remembers you, good grief! Glad the cruise was fun, but sorry about your knee. I hope it's back to normal soon. Bummer you can't go to Gatlinburg, but totally understandable. I didn't realize it was so far away, sorry!

Monica - There are 3 meetings on Saturdays, near you. It's at a WW Center too, which I prefer to church basement type.

I know, my meeting location moved from a storefront to a room above the gym at the local YMCA. Very small and very noisy.

Oh, now I feel bad! :scared1: I think all is well because they're happy again today. Very friendly and affectionate when I picked them up for a bit. :thumbsup2

But Holly... they now have cravings for Pina Coladas... :rotfl2:

The funny part is that even though it is four hours away, it is seven hours from my Mom's house, who also lives in Tennessee. We have a wide state. LOL.

Hi Tammy. Nice to hear that you and the kids are doing well.

Sorry to hear about the knee though. I'm sure you could have had more fun doing something else in Cozumel.

Did you ever get that puppy of yours trained?

Well, sorta....She still has the occasional slip-up, but has vastly improved over the first couple of months. Woo!!! I think that whole experience totally cured me of puppy desire. She will probably be my last. I do love her so much though.

Ian, are you going to check out "The Ledge" at the Sears tower? That's something I definitely will go see. :yay:

(Yes, I know you're sleeping at the time I'm typing this. ;))

My favorite guinea pig, Oreo, the one we've had longest, almost never makes any sounds, other than to rumble at the other one now and then. But the other one, Dale, NEVER stops squeaking unless he's asleep. NEVER. I've never seen any kind of animal make sounds ALL the time like that. It's really, really irritating! If the first one had been that noisy, I never would have gotten a 2nd one. Good grief!

YEAH V.....don't leave me hanging out there all alone. You did so good.

I still have 15 points left for the day. I was really really good today. Lots of 0-1 point foods.

We'll do it again tomorrow and just keep taking one day at a time.
