Hope its still there when we finally get to go there again!:thumbsup2

There will be 37 empty bottles in it's place...

I'm paaaacking. I don't feel less excited than I did before the cruise, even though that was way better. I can't wait and I wish it would be right now. I do need to pack so that would be bad. I only get away from the kids a couple times a year so this is special. Jon and I get to get a king bed instead of 2 doubles :lmao: Can you imagine us without kids? I get to sleep until 7:00 :cheer2: Oh ya, and Bubba and V will be there  This could get crazy.

I thought you said the kids weren't going?

ya I'm getting away from them. I hope anyway. Brooke has a strange red rash all over so we are hoping Jon's parents don't notice :rolleyes1

sounds fun enjoy the grown up time.

we have plans to go and see the SF Giants this weekend, with the boy scouts :thumbsup2

We have our first gs camp out next weekend with girls from 5 to 7 so we are really excited  We just did hockey with bs but I think Ethan is quitting. He doesn't like it. We made him try it for a year so we know he doesn't like it for sure.

Laughlin....which is in Nevada since most of you don't know. They have slot machines like Las Vegas but way smaller.

They're so small you have to sit on footstools to play them! And the coin slots are so small you can only use dimes!:rolleyes1

Willie always says he doesn't like it, well he hates the pack meetings, so loud, but he likes the den meetings much smaller group. I've forced him to stay invovled. I think he needs to have a "team" type activity in his life, otherwise he'd hermit with his video games all the time.

Are you having trouble with the Mafia site Nan?
yup, I'm ready to stop playing for the night, keeps kicking me out

Sorry about the evil taxes. That really does stink about the kiddos at 17. Makes no sense. We are liable for them and their actions but get no credit!!!

As for being "rich" being in California by nature I think makes us "poor" since we have to pay a premium on most things...real estate being the biggest. We can beat ya in San Jose for the high gas costs, I understand it is a little less in So. Cal, but that makes no sense as we have the darn refineries in our backyards. Sometimes it makes me thing the whole set up is screwy....

On another interesting note, Paul is working a lead for General Counsel for a job in London. :woohoo: Why not ;) Life's too short, I'd move in a minute. I wish he would open up his eyes to other places in the world, but for him he looks only where there would be good track for Willie (as a side line) makes me laugh.

Oh yea, another good note. Paul just sent me the lap times for his first race and he came in with the 2nd best lap time. It was ahead of the 1st place guy but behind Chole (who DQed) which means that he is for sure in the running for 1st place with this pack :woohoo::woohoo: Paul also did some major seat adjustments last week and we are trying to get Wil to use a heel stop which should push him back into his seat better for better control (but he is resisting this since it's different to what he does now)

ok, back in the house to get dinner going....

You would prefer London to N California??? I love going to visit London, but.....!

However, we would get to meet again.:)

Hi everyone :grouphug:

Monica, Ian and Marilyn, you must all be getting pretty excited about now :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Kathe

Oh yes. Just one week next Wednesday now.

On a lighter note (Marilyn will appreciate this) we are glued to the British series "The House of Elliott."

We were watching and in one exterior scene Sukie said, "Isn't that Queen's Square in Bath?"

I froze the DVD and said, "Yeah, that's the bottom bit. If you go to the end of the street and turn right, you're at Sainsbury."

Oooh, can't quite remember the series(is it about a clothing firm?), but I do know I watch these programmes looking for places I might know. Sainsbury's!!! Ha.

Monica

We were looking at the 22 pictures of NCL from Vacationstogo.com and these photos are beautiful...

I am sure you will have a great times... I was telling Ian that you got upgraded, he said good for you...

I'm just a bundle of grouchiness today! I decided that I didn't want to wait every week to watch the next episode, and I didn't want to buy the set whenever it comes out, so I decided to TIVO all the episodes and just take a day to watch them all at once.

But I'm really feeling pretty icky tonight, so I though, what the heck, I'll go ahead and start in on them now. Well, being a complete idiot and never using the Tivo, really, I had no idea that it only keeps the most recent 5 episodes! So now I'm stuck! There's no way to go back and start from the beginning, and ABC only has the last 4 episodes at their site! GRR! I'm beyond irritated, but it's just at myself!

Sigh... At least I know my friend will purchase the whole season so I can borrow it from her....eventually.

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed! I guess I'll go read a book!

You too? Sometimes I have days where I can be in such an icky bad mood that EVERYTHING irritates me. I even irritate myself at those times. I've never been able to figure out what causes it.

But it is on those sorts of days that Sukie tends to be very scarce.

I think I'd hide from you too!

:hug::hug::hug: Lisa,

Hard to believe it's been 2 years already.

Did Daniel say anything about how the students feel about the building being reopened?

Morning Thieves pirate:

Well, three weeks from today I'll be waking up in Chicago, in a beautiful condo overlooking Lake Michigan and Belmont Harbor. Then sis and I will collect Cheri from Eastwood Manor and have a fascanating big city adventure of some kind. The kind that doesn't cost too much money...which would probably be.....WINDOW SHOPPING! :lmao: There will be an art gallery visit to see some of Dianne's water colors and possible museum visits to any spots Cheri hasn't hit before I get there. And I suppose there will be some dining out involved. I'm hoping to get by for $50 a day....wish me luck!

Oh yeah....and later on some time with Ian and Sukie.........

.
