Thank you! It went very well tonight because there was no cardio.The whole hour was sparring, practicing 3 different kinds of kicks, some combat moves, a bit of self-defense, and I think that's it. I was surprised that I could actually do all of it after a few tries. I saw many advanced people who couldn't do things any better than I did.
My favorite was a kick where you kick twice without putting the leg down: one kick to the ribs and the 2nd kick up higher (the head if we could reach that high) without putting the leg down between kicks. BAM, BAM!
Tyler told me afterwards that he tried to video some of the class. It's hilarious because you can't see me very well, but hes trying to point me out and actually puts his finger into the viewing part to point me out.

He was about to quit classes until one of the instructors invited him to join the class that uses this weapon. So his motivation has been restored because he gets to do the XMA classes (extreme martial arts). Click to play.
