It was listen on April Fools day... or somebody is stupid enough to buy it for that...

I think it is the bidders who are playing the joke and not the seller. It is interesting to note that all of the bidders have 0 feedback. The tix were originally listed at $100 and the bidders are the ones who have driven it up to over $1500.

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY! :goodvibes Tyler and I are VERY excited because we have a SNOWSTORM coming!
AN APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE MODERATE
TO HEAVY SNOW ALONG AND SOUTH OF SAINT JOSEPH TO LANSING LINE TONIGHT
AND MONDAY. THE STRONG DYNAMICS OF THE STORM MAY PRODUCE IN EXCESS
OF 6 INCHES OF WET HEAVY SNOW BY LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING.
THE WET SNOW WILL BE VERY SLIPPERY AND MAY LEAD TO A HAZARDOUS
MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.

Please keep it down there.

Sun is shining here but it is a bit chilly (about 32F) right now but it is supposed to warm up to 51F by midday. Hopefully some more will get melted.

We're really hoping to keep it here. Tyler's hoping we can go sledding. Only problem is that his winter boots are a whole size too small. :scared1:

We were told today that the Easter candlelight vigil on Saturday night will be held inside because of the anticipated snow.....but good grief! It's only supposed to snow tonight, Monday and part of Tuesday, so it will all be melted before Saturday night. :sad2:

We're predicted to get 6 inches overnight! And another 3-5 inches tomorrow! YIPPEEEE!!!!! WE'RE GONNA GET TO GO SLEDDING!!!! Thanks for the good luck Deb! :cool1:

Well, my plan for today, tonight, and tomorrow (except for when we're sledding) was to really get the house cleaned up finally. We started today (while more laundry was going), but only managed to make our way through a bunch of piles of clutter, old coupons, old mail, magazines, receipts, schoolwork, etc. That took so long, I don't want to do anymore, but we haven't even gotten to the actually cleaning yet. What a disaster this house has become. Oh well, at least when I'm ready to start again later today, the slowgoing part is already done. :thumbsup2 I think I'm going to take a nap before cleaning! And the way Tyler's yawning, I suspect he'll climb on the couch and fall asleep too. ;)

BUBBA: Where are the pictures from yesterday's Easter gathering?

We're back after a great weekend. Weather was quite nice which helped!!! I'm still not too well. the bad headache turned into pharyngitis, and then laryngitis, so a bit of a strange voice, which you can't hear of course! I could have done with being at home and taking time out when I felt bad, but I didn't let it interfere with anything. Going to crash tonight and tomorrow though.:lmao::lmao:

Such an obvious ruse! Oh, how absolutely transparent you, Monica and Kathe are! The depths and lengths of deception gone to, just to avoid me.

But, I'm not going off on a rival cruiseline many thousands of miles away to avoid you am I?;) Monica really takes the biscuit there!!!

Have fun this weekend and get some relaxation in!

It was very relaxing thank you, even though I was a bit poorly.

drive by posting......

bad news at work today - 2 people from my team/account were just laid off. This is after they told us earlier this week that we all needed to take a week of mandatory time off.

Well that is bad news and such a shame for the 2 team members. I hope it all stops there. Times are hard right now.:sad2:

Had an envelope waiting for me today from NCL - with .... my luggage tags!

:cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

Spoke w/ Mom & Dad & they couldn't really understand WHY I was soooo excited :lmao:

3 weeks from tomorrow & I'm on a plane :dance3::yay::woohoo::banana::cool1::cheer2:

Is your dad still going on the cruise Monica?

Hi Friends....Good Morning Ian!

I got so far behind this week. I just read for the last two hours to finally get caught up.

Sorry I've been MIA....doctor, drugs, then issues with Ray came up. He fell down in the middle of the night going to the bathroom. Just a little bruising, but he'll be fine. Then he needed new pants. He's been in there for almost two years so I guess it was about time. I did some shopping for him and today I have to drop them off. We have to mark them or something....not sure....got to find out when I get there today. Then they told me that he started coughing while eating meals. He's been doing it for about two weeks now. It's really loud and presents a problem for him as well as others around him. I had to get in touch with his doctor. He's going to have him evaluated by a speech therapist. They will check his swallowing. He had problems swallowing when he first fell down the stairs and then he aspirated. So we have to be very careful. I have to be there for the evaluation when it gets scheduled. Still waiting to hear when that will be.

Been lying down every day too to keep the edema down in the legs. They are better because the infection is finally going away. I'm on my third month of antibiotics so it's about time. I keep soaking them in epsom salt too. It's working. The leaking comes and goes though. I wish I could find a way to get rid of it once and for all.

Today is yet another day of dark, wet and windy outside. It's been like this most of the week. I hope we get some sunshine soon.

Hi Deb. Great to hear from you and good news about the infection at long last.

A very proud mom wanted me to post this for her...

GO SPEED!!!!!!!!!

Ken, I shared these (and the rest) with Paul he of course loved them and told me to tell you "cool" :cool2: man of few words. And those mustangs are for me too...I'm a 64 1/2 kinda girl (wishing one would come my way some year for a bday gift :rolleyes1

Which equates to max crowds, max lines , max profit right? So why the layoffs?

nope, the bean counter in me thinks they make real money from shops and food and I bet that stuff is WAY down. Better to let a few go and have a strong business that have the whole thing fold, such a corporate thinker I am, don't throw tomatoes...

GO SPEED WILSON!

Guess what I just found out.....my brother is getting married this weekend! Paul and Jill have lived together for years and are making it legal now that he's about to retire. His company (RJ Reynolds) offered him an early retirement package and he's taking it and retiring sometime this month. They want to make sure if something happend to him, Jill would get benefits, so their making their bond official.

.

Thanks and such a nice piece of news :yay:

:cheer2:
GO SPEED GO!!!!

thanks he went :rotfl2:

It's that the best background. I wish I could really "show" you how this looks in real life. This was by far the best racing place we've ever been too. In the hills just outside of Napa. Beautiful weather too, I could see all the way to Oakland and over to SF too :goodvibes

Hi Shannon :flower3:

We all enjoyed the day, thanks for the goodvibes

Deb, I'm glad to see you here too :thumbsup2

We're back after a great weekend.

Great picture. No news of the final yet?:confused3

Missed ya and the BIG NEWS....

He took 2nd place in the MAIN

The best part of the story was that Chole the girl from IKF (that we think is stalking him) that lives in Las Vegas DNF. She and the 1st place kid got into it and her valve stem broke and her tire went flat....so sad (NOT) so 1st, 2nd & 3rd to our "team" Cambrian Go-karts. The boy that took 1st has 1 year of faster speed racing on Willie. He will be hard to beat but we'll get there...just like last year, we're on the hunt, but this time with a good group of kids. I'm sure Chole will come up again (& again) but it's our local track so this was a GREAT way to start the season. Pictures coming soon I'm uploading them now

Welcome home Marilyn - sorry you're not feeling so well.

Nan - please let Wilson know that we're proud of him!!

Bubba - glad you guys had a good time w/ Gay & the family.

Deb - good to see you.

Michelle - thanks for sharing the tid bit about Cecilia - I thought she was great too!

I had a great visit w/ Karen yesterday (Kaz, aka Custardtart) at Ghiradelli's. We had a grand chat & lots of laughs.

Went over to Will's after that & we watched "Twilight" & "Stepford Wives" - along w/ some adult beverages and we had a blast.

Today we went to the pool (but water was too chilly for swimming) then to downtown Celebration - we spent time outside at Starbucks then walked about the art festival.

Now I'm home, watching the british series "Bramwell" (thru netflix) and doing some much needed :laundy:

Jackie - congrats on your brother's wedding.

But, I'm not going off on a rival cruiseline many thousands of miles away to avoid you am I?;) Monica really takes the biscuit there!!!

Now, all of you Americans listen up! I want you to notice how reserved the British are! Notice, that Marilyn said, "Monica, takes the biscuit", we would have said, "Monica takes the cake." Notice how modest the British are by comparison to us.

(I have no clue what the Canadians, say, probably, "takes the turnip," or "takes the twig," or something along those lines.)
