Morning! Just about to hit the road south to enjoy an early Easter celebration at Gayleans sisters house. Supposed to be thirty somthin people. Good friends and good food so it should be fun. Gaylean said to keep the camera off of her, ya right! Hope everyone has a great day and will check back in tonight. :thumbsup2 Adios eh!
Bubba, I hope you all have a great time! Lots of pictures please! :goodvibes

I slept until noon today! I must have really needed it though. I honestly thought I'd get up around 10am and start my day. Oops! Went out and did a bunch of running around, came home for a late lunch just now (and a load of laundry). About to head out now to the library to stock up on more books and hit the grocery store.

Trying to get a hold of my friend and her daughter. We were all supposed to go to Splash (an indoor water park/hotel) tomorrow until Monday (I took Monday off work). She's not the most reliable person, so I'm not surprised I'm not able to reach her. Oh well, Tyler and I can find something else fun to do on Monday to take advantage of our day off together. :thumbsup2 Knowing her though, she'll probably call me tomorrow morning and ask if we're ready to go.

Well, have a great day everybody! I'm off to put a load in the dryer and head out to do more stuff. :thumbsup2

Just have one more thing to say.....I just won another $20 cash card from mycoke.com! :yay:

Thanks again Lisa for telling us about it!

I'm still sitting here, installing applications on my new iMac.

Well, I haven't been necessarily sitting all day, I took a little break when I was copying files over (that took an hour).

I now have to reinstall MS Office, Photoshop CS3, and the other 20 or so application I use.

Then when I'm done, I reformat my machine, do a clean install of OS X Leopard and start the whole process again, but this time moving from Sukie's "old" iMac, to my "old" iMac.

I am way back on page 70--so this may have been thoroughly disussed, if do, sorry--

but

it occurred to me that if they choose someone else, you are freer to focus on your health both physically and financially. If there is some treatment that insurance won't cover, you can afford to pay for it perhaps.

It might also free you to move to THE Beach permanently and reduce John' commute.

:confused3: just some ideas....

 Jan

Hi Jan, even if they do choose someone else....it doesn't cover all of his expenses so I would still end up paying for things from Ray's bank account. No matter what, I'll have stuff to manage for him. And yes, there are always medical bills and monthly perscriptions to pay that insurance doesn't cover in addition to Mrs. Bush's bills.

Today I just came back from bringing him 7 new pairs of pants....$200 later. There will always be added expenses. If Ray gets his VA pension money it will be in addition to his retirement and social security to cover his expenses. If he runs out of money then I will pay for him again, but it should be a lot less and maybe not every month. So things will get better no matter what as soon as I start receiving money for him. They still have not called me to schedule a meeting. I mailed them a letter requesting it last week. In the meantime, I'm still paying the big bills.

Wow Deb, sorry about Ray's fall and cough, I hope he checks out OK with the doctor. Glad your legs are getting better! Keep up the good work. Your weather sounds just like mine. The suns is shining today, but it's COLD and windy, so not much fun being outside. It's so windy that every time I got out of the car when I was out earlier, the wind would catch the car door and blow it all the way open! Good thing I didn't park too close to any cars because they would have been smacked by my doors for sure. Then we're supposed to have snow Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I hope we get enough for sledding (but doubt it).

I hope you get a springtime snowstorm Holly so that you and Tyler can have one more day on the slopes. I'm sending the pixie dust your way!

I was out earlier too and the wind sounded and felt like it was a hurricane. Scary!

Stay inside if you can.:scared1:

Ian, glad to hear you have a dog sitter, I hope Peg has as much luck for this September too!

GO SPEED WILSON!

Hey Jacks, happy that you're 100% normal again. How was it getting the stiches out? Hope it went well.

Yeah, the legs are improving and that's a good thing. It's a lot of work everyday though.

CONGRATULATIONS on getting another sister. Makes it that much more to celebrate on the cruise with them. YEAH!!!

Guess what I just found out.....my brother is getting married this weekend! Paul and Jill have lived together for years and are making it legal now that he's about to retire. His company (RJ Reynolds) offered him an early retirement package and he's taking it and retiring sometime this month. They want to make sure if something happend to him, Jill would get benefits, so their making their bond official.

Oh Ian, I know it's tedious....but it will be well worth it....have patience.

What's on your grocery list for Passover??? I love that you cook special foods for different holidays.....you're just like my mom in that way.

Threaten to take them home if they don't behave... pirate:

Hi Ken, it's great for you to be back home again. You sound like John doing all that driving around for work....what a commute!

Yes, John likes to drive too. Good thing.

Knowing that you have driven to WDW twice, makes it right around the corner for me. We always elect to drive instead of flying. I think it's easier, convenient and more comfortable. ;)

A very proud mom wanted me to post this for her...

GO SPEED!!!!!!!!!

Nothing real special, for me anyway. I'm keeping it very simple this year. Just trying some new flavors of matzo, that's about as adventurous as it's getting!

Wilson update... Took 3rd in his heat...

Main race is in an hour...

go speed!!!!!

The big thing that a lot of Americans don't realize is just how great the interstate system truly is. It makes it nice to drive through the states. I can truly appreciate enjoying the drive from your place to Florida.

And when you drive you have your own freedom. You don't have to rely on pre-arranged shuttles or cabs. And with 4 of us, that can make a difference. Especially when you have kids and a wife that get car sick in buses really easily.
