The Eastwood Manor Mystery
The other day, our next door neighbor (neighbour) showed Sukie a letter she received that day from the Anticruelty Society or Prevention of Cruelty Society, whichever.
It originally had our house number on it, but the last digit was crossed out and the last digit of her house.
The letter said that there had been a report of cruelty to a dog, and that it suffering from medical neglect.
Now the mystery is, she has a 2-flat and both she and her tenant have dogs, her neighbor (neighbour) to the east of her, has a 2-flat, and both units have dogs. We have 2 dogs and our neighbors upstairs have 2 dogs.
This means that between the 3 houses there are 8 dogs, and none of us can understand what this letter is talking about!
These are 8 fairly healthy and fairly spoiled dogs.
The only thing that we all think is that it might be referring to one of the dogs upstairs, Scotty, who can sometimes cry pretty loudly when he poops (he doesn't do it all the time).
Ironically, he also nearly died from a bowel problem, and the guys upstairs spent over $3,600 on surgery for him, and continue to take him to the vet.
Our neighbor (neighbour) is going to phone the society and try and get more information.
I tell you, it's never a dull moment on Eastwood!

I've made it through the day at work, but the real test will be tomorrow when Serenity will be coming to visit! It's hard not to pick her up to hug a million times 
It's hard not to pick her up because she is constantly getting into things she shouldn't LOL! Hopefully her mom will come too so she can share in the lifting!
I've been on mostly late at night , is something going on behind the scenes to slow it down?
