When we drink, we get drunk.

When we get drunk, we fall asleep.

When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.

When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.

So, let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

HAPPY PATRICK's DAY....

QUOTE=cquick;30860935]You have to do what you have to do!!!! As young people with small children, you have been able to travel a LOT, and your kids have had the benefit of it. So be happy that you made the right decision.

HEY!!! I still want to come to Scotland, I haven't even made it there yet!!!!

Good points...

Oh that is not bad, it is not long way to go as this year ... remember book it on 21st June... Write down on calendar....

WOW... sound great...

No I don't know how to booking it:confused: If I go back to WDW, I will contact you to help me booking it.... as we won't go back until 2011/2012...

Scottishwee35[/QUOTE]

It's easy Deborah, I just looked at their website to get the phone number to call and then called them. Ask them about the Prince and Princess Lunch or Dinner that they have in the Castle. It sounds soooooo cool and I really can't wait to go and do it.

Sorry to hear about your back Kathe....I hope it improves over the next couple of days while you have off from work. I know you have had back pain before. I hope it goes away quickly and you're feeling better soon. Take good care of yourself.

I missed this Kathe. I'm hoping you are feeling better today. thanks for posting Deb, I'm so glad that we all watch over each other here, so that if one misses something the other can catch it for them.

Suicide must be a terrible thing to deal with. So very sad. Also how horrible about the boy drowning. I feel for all the parents.

ME(Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome if that is what you know it better as over there.

yes, I understand Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Such a hard thing to have plague one during your whole life. Her parents must also be exhausted by the years of stress. Very sad :sad2:

Thanks Deb, and to everyone for the get better wishes. I had to cancel lunch today but I do think I'm a little better today, I'll just take it easy and rest.

I'm sorry Marilyn and Nan to hear your sad stories:grouphug: It is never easy to lose someone, or to share the sadness of a friend's grief.

The funeral for one of the young boys killed in Friday night's crash is today. His friend's will be a little later, they are waiting for his father to get released from the hospital. I can't even imagine their family's pain. The 25 yr old driver of the other vehicle is now facing 15 charges. His friend who survived the crash, whose mom I work with, is not yet able to even talk about that night.Apparently he was picked up shortly before the crash and did not realize how much his friend had been drinking.

:grouphug: For everyone!

I just met Conan O'Brien. He's tall, nice and VERY funny! Didn't get a picture with him as I had to come down and cover the switchboard.

Midnight... you need to stay up and change them at midnight...

Marilyn... tell him he's king for a day...

It must be tough being there too... my grandfather hated being in the nursing home...

Oh, it's NOT a nursing home. Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home is more like a hotel with group activities and outings. Even the food is delicious.

Mom and Ray were both temporarily in nursing homes before and there's no comparison.

Ray has his own room with a connecting bathroom that's bigger than mine. He has a bed and a sitting area. He's got his own TV. It's more like a studio apartment. He's got the last room down the hall and he has big corner windows looking out onto Blue Mountain. Outside his room is another private sitting area then down a short hall is a mini kitchen and sitting area. Then they have the big kitchen and dining area in the main area. They have activities all day every day and they have outings a couple of times a month. I keep a running account of spending money for him at Mrs. Bush's so he can buy what he wants when he goes out. Ray is very healthy except for the fact that he needs to be babysat 24/7 because of his brain injury.

We provide him with everything we can, but he's not all mentally there to even appreciate it. The only thing that grounded him in reality was mom. Now that she's not in his life....he drifts. And no matter where he's living, without mom he's unhappy. And with his brain injury, he's uncapable of even knowing if he's happy or not.

It's tough for him not being with mom. Where he's living has nothing to do with it.

Deb- I am sorry you had to cancel your trip. I want to eat in the Castle in Dec. I hope you get your reservations!

So for those who remember, we are fostering a cat, Moe. Well we haven't told our parents as they would flip out. Well Matt's mom is watching the cats in April and we think she will notice. :lmao: Matt is telling her about him this weekend. Moe is doing ok, still skittish but comes up to us now. However, he is very dominant and a big bully. He takes treats from the other cats mouths! We are working on sharing though. He and PJ are attached and go everywhere together.

Jill, you and Matt are amazing for taking on Moe. I'm so glad that he and PJ found each other. You have to keep him now.

Oh yeah I guess I forgot to tell that story ...

Well, one slight problem was that the night before, because Shannon was out writing her exam, I let the girls stay up until 9:30pm. Which is bad because their normal bedtime is 8pm.

so at about 5:30am on Saturday morning Shannon and I had gotten dressed and loaded the car and then we went barging into the girls' room said "Good Morning! Who wants to go to Disneyland?"

Well they stirred a bit and even said NO!. Until we explained that we were heading there TODAY. Once it sunk in they were excited and ready to go. I have never seen them get moving and dressed so quickly. But I think Shannon and I blew it with how we phrased the question. I believe they thought we meant "someday" and not right that instant.

So it was cute and funny. Especially the "No" response. I have it all on video tape and will have to transfer it to the web on our return.

How cool when they realized it was TODAY! I'd love to see their excited little faces when it sunk in.

Thanks for keeping us up to date with all your activities. It's ALMOST like I'm there with you. Keep having fun for all of us!!!

Good afternoon

I picked up a new car today and drove home and I like it...

It had remember me that I passed my driving test at first time with Corsa...

But It is Corsa SXI 1.2 and will show you photo later...

What a lovely day today,,, cannot wait Spring time ...

Scottishwee35

Congratulations and Good Luck with your new car. Can't wait to see pictures.

I am VERY excited today! My son called last night with the dates he is able to get off work this summer. We have been able to find a week in August that we can both get off...so YIPPEE...I'll be going to Alberta in August :cool1: I think I'm using airmiles to fly this trip, so I'm just trying to see what might work out for flights. I will fly to Calgary where Brian and his new girlfriend will pick me up. We will spend a few days in Banff National Park, then a couple of days in Jasper National Park, then one day in Hinton, where he lives. The following day he will drive me to Edmonton to fly home!!! Did I say I was excited :dance3: Ouch, except that dancing is hurting my back :headache: :lmao:

Kathe

How are your legs doing Deb?

I don't even want to talk about the legs Marilyn. Everytime I make some forward progress, it only gets overshadowed by more regression. They get better, they get worse. Back and forth. Forward and backwards. I'm sick of it.

Now, if I sit up at all, they leak again. It seems I have to lie down constantly in order to get them to stop. I'm getting fed up with it all.

:lmao: Better be sedate excitement then Kathe!!! Sounds like a great trip and so nice to see your son for a whole week.

Oh Deb, I'm so sorry. It sounded so positive a few weeks ago. No wonder you are fed up.

Glad you're feeling a little bit better today....sorry you had to cancel lunch though.

Such tragic losses for everyone lately.

Many hugs.

We have stopped doing the dining plan as we felt it restricted us and made us eat too much!!! Have you made your ADR's yet?

I agree that you tend to eat much more with dining plan.

I have started to use the WW tool for living, "Mental Rehearsal" and "Storyboarding."

I've been thinking about how I'm going to manage eating, and making healthier choices.

This May trip is going to be a real challenge!

I've decided I will try the dining plan! I've had my ADR'S since the 90 day mark, Marilyn :thumbsup2

Ian, I think it will be a challenge to eat healthy too, but to be honest, I'm looking forward to the desserts ;) I rarely eat them at home, and at least I'll be walking lots in the parks. I know having dessert twice a day will be more than I want though, but I'm reading you can sometimes get fruit or bottled water instead, at the quick service meals. I will probably use at least some of my snack credits for fruit in the morning. I usually bring some breakfast bars from home and just buy fruit for my breakfast anyway.

Can't wait for LOST tonight. Wednesdays are the best night of the week for TV because you have Lost and the results of Idol tonight. Cool.
