Our garden centre at work opens the week of Easter. I've got to get my back feeling better soon! I would really like to dig out more of my front yard so I can add more plants and flowers.

I'm a home made kind of girl so only real whipped cream for me. Alright I admit I have HAD the other I think it would have to be cake for the base but I think I might like them separate. You need to send me one so I can tell you for sure. My sister makes me a strawberry pie every year with a graham cracker crust. It is delish.

The girls and Ethan got along well. Brooke was sad to say goodbye but we told her about the camping trip. I guess there is no getting out of it


Ken has tweeted me because he doesn't know I'm on yet. I didn't even look for him!

So thanks to Ken and Shannon (and Shaelyn I suppose) Brooke wants to get glasses like Shaelyn. She says she is the prettiest girl and she wants to be just like her. Thank goodness she didn't ask to go blond

I barely have time to catch up with everyone here, I won't be facing or twittering any time soon

We all get along so well...I would hope that we can still discuss politics and religion as friends I am interested in hearing everyone's views, I'm not talking about debating I realize that we may not always agree on everything, but as long as we are respectful, what is the problem. I don't believe that everyone should be punished because a few are abusive.Why can't the abusive threads and individuals be shut down and the rest of us be left alone? I hate it when the whole class is punished for the actions of one or two. JMHO.

Sorry to leave Ethan out... not intentional... I'm sure he doesn't want long blonde hair either... or does he???

I like to take a nice buttery poundcake as a base then use rich vanilla ice cream, fresh IN SEASON strawberries with real whipped cream - but I'll use the canned stuff if I'm in a hurry...

And I have to let the stawberries soak for just a little bit in some sugar to get a little bit of juice going so it can soak into the cake... how's that???

I don't put the ice cream but I have had it and like it. I'm not sure why I don't add it. I smoosh the strawberries up with a lot of sugar I just buy the strawberry cake cups they sell.

Oh and don't worry about Ethan. I wrote it that way because I forgot about him. He did play with them and had fun but it took him a little longer than Brooke. He really got along well with Keleigh (sp) surprisingly. She is a lot younger than him but they were saying knock knock jokes back and forth. You can only listen to so many of kids jokes before you go insane so they appreciated someone listening so long
