And here's a few pics of Kaleigh's birthday dinner last night. As Shannon said, she gets her birthday PARTY on Sunday.

Both girls being a bit silly before cake:

Can you tell that silliness was in the air?

Our family doesn't know Kaleigh, this gift was from my cousin:

And I guess I can follow a bit of Bubba's lead and post some old pics of me too.

Here is one of my favourites of my father and I back in about 1973 (I think):

This is Christmas 1974 with my Great-Grandmother. Note the Fisher Price camera in my hand even at that age!

My sister and I Christmas morning 1978. Note the Mickey Mouse record player and the Star Wars comic book. I still have that comic book.

Christmas Dinner 1978. Doesn't it scream 70's? That's my sister, my aunt and my uncle (who were on the cruise with us), my dad, ME, and my great grandmother.

Me, my sister and my mom Universal Studios 1978. It was part of the 6 Million dollar Man exhibit where you could push over the palm tree, lift a van, break out of jail, etc.

There that should be enough pics for awhile...

Love the pictures Ken. You must be about the same age as our eldest, and we have photos that are very similar!!!

All caught up now. At least for now.

Thought Shannon would have posted some pics from "High School Musical on Ice" from last weekend, but I was wrong.

So I will do so. Besides, I thought Olivia might like to see some of them. Brooke might like it too, but I know Gaylean wouldn't show them to her - afterall she didn't take Brooke to the HSM event on the cruise.... ;)

They have a little quiz running on the big screen prior to the show starting:

We got there early and stocked up on souvenirs:

I could post a whole bunch more pics as I took quite a few (are you really that shocked that I took lots of pics?), but if you want to view some here is the link to the days pics. Just double click to see it bigger.

I never thought that it would come to Prince George. We were really shocked that it did, so I made sure I pulled out all the stops to try and get tickets early. Turns out we didn't really need to, as they oversaturated our market and Saturday afternoon wasn't very well attended.

But it was really nice to see Disney come to our neck of the woods. They did it in typical Disney fashion with theme done right from the moment you walk in the doors. I had a good time.

Yeah I really like it too. So much that I even tried doing a colourization of it:

It was taken during an open house at my father's unit. He was a Lieutenant (retired Captain) in the Canadian Scottish Regiment. He did his 5 years and then got out of the army. It was all when I was younger so I don't have much in the way of memories of it all. One strong memory I have is of running around a track with him. I just remember going to the field with him and running around and around. I'm pretty sure I probably didn't even do 1 lap but it was while he was in training for something. No idea why I have that memory, I couldn't be more than 2 or 3 but it is my earliest memory. There aren't any pictures of it so it's not like I am remembering pictures I have seen. Just one of those things.

In the category of having too much time on your hands... and yes that means me because I found this ...

Hard to believe someone spent the HOURS putting this together.

A little Youtube for you Trekkies.

Hard to believe based on those clips that show was evolved into what it is today.

Ok time to get busy and get some work around the house done.

Probably won't be back until Sunday night, so til then, have a Magical weekend everyone!

Thanks Ken - that was fun!!!

I just have to share Tyler's occupational therapists response to the exchange between me and his dad about camp. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Holly-
The best way to describe where Tyler's Dad is at is DENIAL!!!! He is choosing to believe what he wants to believe which is not even remotely close to reality. To send Tyler to a camp where they are not equipped to handle him is not only unfair to Tyler but to the camp, counselors, and the other children involved. I love your idea of the SDP or AI camps, Springhill, which is a Christian camp also offers camps for kids with special needs so you might want to check it out( a compromise perhaps). See you on Monday.
Siiri

My son went to Springhill. Great camp!

Hi stranger.:)

I guess you meant me, right???

I've been hanging out with the kiddos. They are off school this week. We haven't done much fun. Just playing the Wii.

Tonight Wilson is having 3 friends sleep over for pizza & cake and Wii playing to celebrate his birthday.

And ya know we are going to Disneyland on Tuesday for his actual birthday.

I wonder how the weather is supposed to be.. I'm going to look now.

See ya later.

Cool it is supposed to be 70 degrees. That will make for a nice day :goodvibes now to see what it will be here to see how the flight will be.
