Lisa, this is tough for you. I remember now you sharing about her last year when you had problems with her. I'm glad you have support from your brothers or you would be ill with it all.

Both of my brothers are awesome. My oldest brother got re-mairried 18 months ago. His new FIL was just like my mom......he died last week. I don't think anyone is very sad....I only met him at the wedding.

Hi everyone, I've missed all of you Hope everyone is well, I'm going to try to get caught up, at least a little, over the next week.

I've been busy the last couple of weeks. My washer broke and my dryer wasn't going to live much longer, so I was busy shopping and deciding what to replace them with (wish I could have afforded someone to do the laundry instead of new machines ) Had new ones delivered yesterday, have a gas dryer so got it hooked up today and have been doing laundry all day

A friend of mine volunteered my house for a small Oscar party on Sunday, so I've been trying to get to the theatre every chance I get to see some of the movies. I hadn't seen anything since Mama Mia in the fall. No way I'm going to fit in any more before Sunday, but I did manage to see Slumdog Millionaire, Benjamon Button, The Reader, The Wrestler eek: closed my eyes through most of this, I hate wrestling and bleeding... ) and saw He's just not that into you (just for fun, it's not nominated). Anyone else planning to watch the Oscars this year? To be honest, I didn't enjoy them last year and wasn't going to watch...but since everyone's coming to my house I guess I will once again! Funny thing is, I'm the one with the little 32" TV

My trip to wdw in May is all planned, have all my dining plans, but quite willing to change them if a meet or two can be arranged as we get closer. I feel a little sad about the trip today though. A friend of mine lost her mother a few weeks ago and is feeling sad. I mentioned she should come to disney with me sometime and she would have loved to have come with me in May. I wish I had known this earlier. She has never been and I know she would love it, and I would love her company but...I already have my airfare, purchased it at a great sale price and it is WAY too expensive now, and my friend will not fly alone. I'd change mine but I don't think I would be able to use the credit, even if I did pay the penalty, before it would expire and I'd lose the money. I just can't afford to lose it. I already have airfare booked for Sept too. We're talking now about maybe going together in 2010, but I know she could use the vacation now.

It's getting close to Survivor time so I'm going to try to at least read a few posts before then. Anyone else watching it this season?

Yup, I'm watching Survivor. I watch every season. Survivor and Lost and Desperate Housewives are the main shows I watch.

I couldn't make myself re-start the workouts today. I was too hungry by the time I got home. I think I need to start eating my lunch later in the day, like about 2pm, then maybe I won't be wanting to eat the minute I walk in the door after work. And if I can start going to bed at a normal time, that would help. I stayed up super late last night, way past midnight, because I got sucked into YouTube videos.

Well, today it felt like winter has returned. It was so cold and very windy. It hasn't snowed much for a while though. Last Saturday was the first time it had snowed in at least a week, but it was only about 4 inches which melted by the next day. We're only supposed to get a couple inches on Saturday, but then it will probably melt soon after because it's supposed to be above freezing all next week.

See, I told you she's evil! I understand about the knees. There are a lot of lunges in that video and my knees grind every time.

You tried it, so now you can understand why I still couldn't do the whole video even after over a week of doing it! And there's a part in it where she says, "Those of you on day 5 or 6 of doing the workout should be seeing your endurance increasing by now". NOT!!! Didn't work that way for me! I was still huffing and puffing like crazy.
