We've discussed lots of stuff..... your girls and my boys playing in the snow....interior decorating, such as carpet and drapes.....and yes, potato cakes.

And they say we don't have interesting conversations... :lmao:

thanks that is a great deal. I was too cheap to buy the lemon I wanted on the cruise now I will buy 3 for the same price as one

pink hair, yuck...

bubba I love you just not you in that hair :snooty:

I got some of the blue shampoo that they had at the Poly... I'll have to try some of the other shower gels along the way...

Well I am supposed to be sleeping but instead and watching Moe run around the bedroom. He wants Matt's spot in the bed but Matt is sleeping. Moe sleeps in the tub normally but is really eyeing the bed lately.

Matt has to work at 4am again. But his boss paid for our dinner tonight. He has had to work at 4am all week. We went to Outback and it was really good. Way to much food though.

Michelle- we are staying at Pop in Dec. I was one of the lucky ones who got a 40% off code and used it so it was a great deal.

Tell Moe that the couch is comfy... and I'm glad you got a good deal... 40% off is good where ever you are going to stay!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!

(better late than never):flower3:

Here's my little gift to everyone: a variation on the "chocolate cake in a mug" recipe. I can personally vouch for this one. I tried it and it was pretty darn good! After the 60 sec. I put a few mini marshmallows on top, covered the mug with a saucer so they'd melt a little, and DUG IN!

Aquatics... here's the link...

But other things like Nan said are on sale (like the shower gels...)

ALSO... if you put Fatwallet in the promotion (you may have to sign up at fatwallet.com - you will get an extra 15% off!!!)

Holly found out that the one they have on the Ship isn't included, but I like the blue one (the Aquatics)

Thanks, Ian for the Valentine's Day Card. VERY dry humor! Well, except for the red wine in the face bit! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We went to a Folk Festival at the Menello Museum in Orlando. What a beautiful day for it! Perfect weather, sunny skies, a slight breeze, sitting on the ground next to the lake......fun!

Sounds like you are feeling better which is good news!!!

So Tyler was a bit grumpy when I picked him up today. In fact, I almost cancelled our evening out because of his attitude problem. But I told him I didn't like his attitude and that this is his warning, and that if I heard a speck of disrespect or attitude, we'd turn the car around and go right back home and he could go to bed without supper or Valentine's Day surprises. That did the trick and happy Tyler came back. :thumbsup2

We had to wait 45 minutes to get a table, but Tyler waited patiently and quietly, with no complaining, and we had a great time at dinner.

I brought the 2 V-day cards he got in the mail for him to open while waiting for our food:

He loved his Star Wars box of candy:

And loved his new puppy too:

An very sweet older couple somehow won a bouquet of 3 helium heart balloons and gave them to Tyler on their way out to add to the puppy one I'd already given him:

Tyler chose the "pot of dirt" for his dessert:

We had a really good time! :thumbsup2

Nothing I like better than waking up to a, LARGE, photograph of pork chops.

(Spend a moment or two thinking that one over)

Just tell yourself it was chicken! :lmao: Pork is supposed to be 'the other white meat', right?

Good morning boys and girls.

Hi All.....Happy Valentines Day.....Bubba and V.....Happy Anniversary.

I've been among the missing again because I had another doctor appointment and that involves vicoden and pain. But I got a thumbs up and keep doing what you're doing because it's working from the doc. So all is well.

Just want to send many hugs to Deborah for all the funerals, Michelle for receiving part of the bill for Dad's funeral, Connie for all the heartache in dealing with mom and to Bubba for the unreciprocated love of Jenni and Ayden. My heart goes out to all of you.

Ian......thanks for the very very funny valentine's day ecard. I laughed so hard and then forwarded it to John and he did the same thing. Thanks for being such a good friend.

Monica.....hope you're enjoying the birthday party. I didn't remember that Sydney was born on Valentine's Day.....how special. How old is she now??? I remember when she was born and all the complications Lisa had delivering her. So glad we're well past all of that and you all could be together to celebrate. I'm looking forward to the pictures.

Gaylean.....so happy to hear the good news about your current job. I hope you and the family are enjoying your time in San Diego.

Holly.....Great news about Tyler's new school and all of his progress. What a relief. I'm so glad you had a special Valentine's Day together. What a great kid and mom too.

Nan, Shannon, Ken, Marilyn, Jackie, Jan, Cheri, Lisa, Kathe and Jill.....Hi to all of you and Happy Valentine's Day too. Hope you all celebrated and had fun.

John and I decided we'll celebrate next weekend by going out to eat. This weekend was filled with errands and chores. Next weekend John has to work on Saturday so when he gets home he will not want to cook. We'll go out then.

Yes Holly, I was lucky enough to marry a man that loves to cook and does it well. When we were dating he drew an imaginary line around the kitchen and told me under no uncertain terms that this was his territory and I was not permitted in. I said I love you will you marry me.....hahahaha.....not really.....but I did say, no problem.....you got it!!!!

Hi Deb, I was wondering how you were. Glad things are going well with your legs!!:thumbsup2

Hi Marilyn, thanks so much for thinking about me. I always get off schedule when I have another doctor appointment because of the pain involved and the necessary meds that I end up taking. But I'm feeling much better again and don't have to go back to the doctor for another three weeks. So all is good for a while again.

BTW Marilyn, congrats on hitting 11,000 posts....you go girl!!!

I love the twirling tink too.....dizzy is a great name for her.

Did you and John celebrate Valentine's Day????

Of course you are missed !! ::yes:: !! When you are away.

:rotfl: about your reaction to it being John's kitchen

Since SIDS is being combated by having parents put babies on their back to sleep, we find a lot of parents not realizing the importance of tummy time for play which helps babies build neck, arm, leg and trunk strength so they can crawl and walk. All that to say, whenever I am encouraging any of my client-families to provide more tummy time, I am also thinking about how important it is for you right now.

So

How are you doing on tummy time?
Find any activities to keep your mind busy?
Find any pillow arrangements to help you feel more comfortable and get the legs even higher?

:goodvibes: Jan

Holly, as far as what to do about your mexican man Alejandro....I say NO WAY!!!! Just think about it.....do you want to be the wife that he cheats on this time???? Stay far away. Once a cheater, always a cheater. You deserve so much more......a committed and loving relationship where the man cooks for you!!!! hahahaha!!!!

No, we don't bother. I did get a card which was fun as we usually have lots of jokes about them. We will say we aren't bothering, then I will get him one!!! He caught me out this time.:lmao: We have done odd things in the past, but these days I prefer to save the money for the vacations.

So sweet of you to say.

hahaha....we always get a good laugh out of that story when telling it. He really did tell me that it's his kitchen though. I knew I loved him from the start.

Hi Jan, I just wrote to you on the Tortola thread.

Tummy time is ok. I mostly just try to go to sleep so I don't have to feel the pain of the arthritis in the lower back and now the left side siatica is kicking in too. I tried doing the legs higher thing, but it hurts the back more so I stay away from it.

The legs are getting better so when they don't hurt as much I alternate with right side, left side laying down too. That helps. It's way better for my back.

It's a slow process but at least we're making progress so YEAH!!!!!!

Thanks for your continued concern Jan, you are a sweetie.
