Gee, I sure have been gabby today! Sorry everybody. :rotfl2:

You are fine! We have missed hearing from you. It is great to get reports about Tyler doing so well and you feeling better!!

:goodvibes Well then, I'll share something else good. My Paxil dose has been cut in 1/2 for a week now, in the process of tapering off. I've not seen a single negative effect so far. I was worried about coming off it because I'd heard of people having bad reactions when stopping it. Not me! :thumbsup2

Michelle: Shocked and Dumbfounded here too. I guess I would take the low road and mail back the bill to StepMo(nster). If she inheritied his estate she can handle the service and burial. They were married for a good number of years, right? So strange :sad2:

They were married for 23 years...

 Michelle, I'm sorry you have to deal with all that crap. :headache: I've learned that funerals can bring out this kind of garbage. I saw a big split in my dad's family with his siblings when their dad died, and things came to a head again when their mom died about 10 years later. It's awful. And again, something similar when my mom and her 2 sisters' dad died (but not too extreme) and then when their mom died just 3 1/2 years ago, things got ugly again and have stayed that way with one sister. At least I have no siblings from my mom to deal with when it's her time, but it will be ugly with all my steps when my dad and stepmom go, since I'm the evil one who moved away.

Thanks Holly...

To brighten things, I have a funny story. Today at Tyler's party, while I was sitting by him, he kept leaning over and whispering secrets to me. He pointed out 2 girls and told me their names. Then he pointed out his friend Larry. He told me those 2 girls chase him and Larry every day on the playground because the girls told Tyler they think he's "pretty". :rotfl: I had to correct him and told him, "No, girls are pretty, boys are cute or handsome" and he told me that's what he meant. :rotfl2: BUT the point is, I'm glad he's finally able to be a part of "normal" kid activities! ;)

Us too!!! Did you tell him the girls have a crush on him??? :lovestruc (now if they smack him or something...then look out... )

hi tink
am curious how is she not responsible for the BILL....if i give the bill for my dinner to some1 at the next table does it make it their responsibility??

karl

She's always been that way... She's always seen what's hers is hers and what's his is our problem... She's the one who always had the money... funny thing is... they paid for her daughters education... I had to put myself through... :confused3

Ian, Michelle, Holly and anyone else

:grouphug: for getting through funerals. :grouphug:

People can be so odd.

The smartest old person I knew sent a letter to all his descendants. If they wanted anything, they had to come to see him, sign their name on a piece of tape and put it on the back of the item. No one could tag something for someone else. When he was done with things he mailed or shipped them off. If he was still using them, they were shipped off when he died. Shipping expenses were paid out of his estate first, then money was given to some colleges and charities. I do not think there was much money left, but everyone got an equal share of what was left no matter their age.

He had 13 kids and each of them had a couple kids or more so he left a HUGE family and no one fought.

.

Sounds like a good idea, but my brother already comes into the house and starts to claim things... I joke that he puts post it's on whatever he wants... except mom has already told them that except for what she wants to give them...and I told her it's her choice and to just let me know... the contents of the house is mine... (this came up when my sister asked for the Xmas decorations about 10 years ago... I had to break it to her that we still use them...) I have told mom many times... if something happens to her... I'm calling 911 & a locksmith.

Oh, I didn't need to tell him, I could tell by the way he was telling me about them that he gets it. ;)

But what a sense of accomplisment! You don't owe that lady anything. You did it yourself. GOOD FOR YOU! :thumbsup2

Do you have the wishes of the Queen Mum in writing? and notarized? maybe even by a lawyer? That might be a darn good idea and if it is done now, when she is obviously of sound mind, it would hold more water. The document could even include the facts that since YOU take her on fun vacations, run her around for errands and take care of her when she is sick, you get the stuff. :confused3 maybe??

So.......I guess y'all aint got no pictures? No exciting adventures or occasions you want to share with the rest of us? No big fish pictures? Somebodys got to have caught a bigger fish than Venetia!:confused3

Nope. Mostly just me rambling on and on all day as usual. :rotfl2:

OK, have to head to bed. Long day tomorrow. Have to be to work at 7am. I'm going out to work afterwards for dinner, so I'm going to TRY to get up at 5:30 and do the workout before work. I doubt I'll be able to do it because I'm SO not a morning person, but it's only a half hour early, so I should be able to. :thumbsup2 Goodnight all! :cloud9:

I just discovered something great! I love the mashed potato bowl from KFC, but always feel guilty after eating it because it's so much food and so filling. Well, they now have a "snack size" bowl! It's the same size bowl they use for individual sides, and I'd guess it's about 1/2 the size of the full-size mashed potato bowl. Perfect! That leaves me room to eat a biscuit with it. Yummy!

Ian... don't burst her bubble... she doesn't want to know the points... :sad2:

He also sleeps in the tub. I gave him a bed but he likes the sink and tub.:rotfl: Oh well, he is very goofy. He says "me" instead of "meow".

Multi lingual?

Holly- I am glad to hear Tyler is doing much better.:goodvibes

Michelle and anyone else who needs

them

Thanks Jill... How's school going? How did you do on that exam you were worried about?

But what a sense of accomplisment! You don't owe that lady anything. You did it yourself. GOOD FOR YOU! :thumbsup2

Yup... best day of my life (well, with a few others...) Nobody can take it away from me and it's even better because nobody ever thought I'd do it.

& yes... mom's stuff is getting taken care of...

Ian... don't burst her bubble... she doesn't want to know the points... :sad2:
:rotfl2:But seriously, as long as I'm eating less than normal, I'm good with that. :thumbsup2 It's a step in the right direction.

Oh..................I don't think so.

Michelle- School is going ok, I took the test on Tuesday and won't know the results for a few weeks. I think I did ok.

So after our rough weeks. Matt and I have decided to celebrate Valentines Day next weekend. I work this weekend but am off next weekend. We are going tubing (finally) and eating in Gatlinburg and spending the day up there. We havn't decided where to eat yet. Also I added 3 days to our Disney vacation in Dec.

So what days will you be there in Dec? Make sure you let Monica know... she loves Dis meets, you know... :goodvibes

I use silk ON linen... and nope... pattern isn't ironed on... I count out from the middle and follow a pattern... I count threads... I'll take some pics of some of the work I've done when I get it out... (It's all packed away... I joke that I have to go to other people's houses to see my work...)

This is an example of one of the toughest pieces I've done... but I used different colors (from the designers website...)

:thumbsup2 it looks fantastic!

We really do love cats and really hope we can help Moe. Here is a pic of the new monster.

Also here is the tree in the back

I take it the cat doesn't know that water comes out of the tap?:rotfl:

Michelle - Your step mom is ridiculous. She's responsible for the bill, you definitely aren't responsible for it. :grouphug: I hope everything is all well documented with your mother's wishes. And of course, that you don't have to deal with it for a long time. :grouphug:

Holly - everything sounds positive for Tyler at the new school. Such a change in 6 weeks :thumbsup2 Be proud of him and you!

Bubba!

Ayden is a cutie. The situation with Jenny sounds painful. I hope things eventually improve. :grouphug:

And since you want more pictures. Here's an old one of me and my sister in our last year of tap dancing.

And here's one of me with my favourite football player (Eric Carter) the day he autographed my jersey. That's Shaelyn that I'm holding.
