Well, I'm off to try to fire up my old computer and see if I can still get all my pictures off. I never remembered to do that! Last time I tried, the monitor wasn't working, but if the computer part still works, I found out I can plug that into my TV. Hopefully I can get all my pictures and then I can get rid of all the old stuff. It's cluttering up my bedroom because of the giant old clunky monitor, so I'm eager to see it go away!

Well if you don't get caught up from the start, I'll tell you that this was the 2nd round of we MISS MARILYN...It hit us about day 6 or 7 and again this week so glad you guys are home....

Hope you have some pictures to share of your travels????

We had a lovely day (as you might say) We took the convertible out of the garage and ran up to Paul's folks house. Took his mom out to the GAP and she got Willie some jeans and a pirate tshirt, cute.... then we went for ice cream. Then we drove over to the pizza palor where Molly was enjoying her cast party to bring her home (she had gone over with a friend) it was fun to pull up to the curb all the kids went crazy for the cool little sports car. I keep telling Molly she will have a good lure for her prom date, if he is nice enough to us let him drive that car

We only took a few photos as we have been before. We had a great sea view from the balcony and could watch some cruise ships sail past as they went either to dock at the cruise terminal or leave. One day the seas were very rough and a smaller cruise ship left port and it was going up and down something terrible. Made me feel seasick watching. The nose went almost under water and then high in the air. It really really has put me off doing the TA next year. I don't think I could cope with that.

Sounds like a great day you had there.

My brother got engaged and will get marry next year around May... Olivia will be flowergirl (i have posted photos about last week)

It was a lovely surprised and we have been thinking that we changed our plans that we are not going to London to stay there for few days before our cruise as we are leaving one day before the cruise...

Now we are looking for a new car today as my car is not good

We booked it last autumn, but I suppose as it isn't Florida I didn't talk about it much.

Hey guys... (and girls...)

Major pixie dust needed....

Had to rush mom to the hospital around 5:30 last night...

The migraine got intense and she got sick and collapsed... I called 911 and they were here really fast... they said she had a vegal response which is when you try to get sick and you pass out. She had it 3 times last night. CT is clear, chest Xray is clear, EKG is good. Her blood pressure was up and down a bit but they say that's the med they gave her for the migraine.

I stayed with her until they got her a room around midnight - I called the nurse a little bit ago and he told me that she had a better night and that PT had her up and walking around the whole unit. She hasn't eaten anything yet because she's still queasy.

I'm headed over to see her now...

And you know what got me last night... I was scared - really...it's the first time I've ever had to do this for her... she's really very healthy. And they were asking me the usual questions including if she had a DNR... and I just wanted to yell at them and tell them that she's not old... don't treat her that way... (she is, but she's been really good up until now...)

& it was tough because I realized last night how alone I am in this. We chose to live up here and we love it and even if I was back in Jersey...it would have been me to go and take care of all of this still...

Rough night...

Well, I'm off to see the "old" Dame...

That did sound scary, but it does sound like everything is basically well with her.

Hope you had a good time (and it sounds like you did).

Now it's time to start planning for that little trip across the pond you have in a few days.

I believe Ian kept most of us in line on here while you were gone. Ian did fall to peer pressure though and signed up for a Twitter page. the poor guy just couldn't withstand the barrage of harrasment that finally got him on. But I am a little worried about him, he hasn't sent a "tweet" in quite some time.

I sorry to hear of your rough night. I know that thought of having to be the "one" it falls on. I'm sending prayers for you to have strenght to deal with that too. It is a good thing that you and mom are together. You know she is safe with you and well cared for. That is worth the cost and weight of worry. Stay strong and send Barb our love and tell her to rest up and feel better soon.
