Well, it's obvious that half of the chatty folks are gone! :rotfl2: Good grief! I keep refreshing on every commercial and there's nothing here!

Ian, how did things go tonight? Do you have pictures to share?

We are back from dinner at Outback. Found that they had changed the menu, and we were about to get quite upset but found that some of the new things are great. We both went outside the box and got something different. Both meals were really good. and the waiter was great too.

Gay, good deal on the priceline, bummer it's not as sweet as our 45.00 suite. 4 in a king bed is kind of crowded dont you think:lmao: I hope the kids dont toss and turn alot.

Holly, we spent most of the day at DL and DCA. According to my pedometer I walked almost 6 miles today (13500+ steps)

Bubba got some cool birthday gifts from the Mouse. We will try to post pics soon.

And also, I do believe that

Bubba's Big Birthday Bash

Happy Birthday Bubba!!!! :woohoo:

Glad dinner was good! :goodvibes Sounds like a fun day, except for all that walking! I think my legs would have collapsed long before yours. Can't wait to see pictures! Sounds like a great birthday celebration! :goodvibes

Re: Law School

.....

Perhaps things will change in the future, but for now, my heart isn't in it anymore. Life is stressful enough already. My mom's pretty disappointed in me for this. She actually told me "I knew you wouldn't end up finishing, you've never finished anything". :sad2:
.
:hug: O Holly :hug:
You have finished a lot of classes. These give better insight into the office where you work and enable you to do a better job there.

And, you have a much more important job now--to be Tyler,s Advocate in the world!! What could be more important?

Your Mom is wrong.
.

Good luck to Wilson! And are you coming to see us in DL?

Paul has not told me if he will go or not. We will talk next week, since we are apart for the weekend. I usually get what I want after a race :rolleyes1

Nan, have fun scrapping! And good luck to Wilson, I'm sending sunny wishes to keep away the rain! :goodvibes

It was so great to walk in here this afternoon. We dropped all our stuff and headed to the hot tub, soaked for a while, came back up had dinner (we brought enchaladas) and watched I am Legend, while scrapping. I've got nothing accomplished, but have my stuff ready to work when I get motovated.

::yes:: so what's your point???

Is that a bathroom? Where is that?

DISNEYLAND...heard of it???? The bathroom by Alice

not many, you're right ::yes::

Can't wait to see the pictures V...:rolleyes1

:rotfl2:Whenever anybody mentions to my dad that they got a haircut, he never fails to say, "Well, why didn't you get them all cut?" :rotfl: And Tyler's dad calls it a "hairscut"! :lmao:
.
The Pennsylvania Dutch say "I'm going to get my hairscut."

First of all, Jan ... Have I ever told you how wonderful and kind you are? Kindness is such a rarity in our modern world, and you continuously exemplify it.

Holly - your posting struck quite a raw nerve for me, and your mother's reaction. I am shocked at what parents say to their children.

I know first hand, because of my relationship with my father, for whom I was pretty much a continuous disappointment, starting in 1962 when I was 7 years old, and showed no interest in baseball. Our relationship slid downhill from there. As I was always the failure and not as good as my brother. My brother's death did not help matters.

Holly - you never know what the future will bring. You never know what you haven't done yet that you will do, and you never know who you have met yet, who you will meet.

Everyday for us is just a moment in time. It hangs there as a moment on to itself, and the extraordinary thing is what the next moment may hold. And it is extraordinary, because of your relationship with Tyler and how you are using your energy to help him forge his moments.

I think it's all about opening ourselves up to possibilities. It's all about taking opportunities to reinvent ourselves.

I chose to just stop listening to my father, and get on with my life. I realized that the issue was his and not mine (not that it didn't wound me, it did).

So, ignore what your mom said. Who knows what wonderful things lay ahead in store, and wonderful opportunities. I really think that the key is opening the door to possibilities.
