OMG I am so mad I just have to vent....and vent.....and probably vent some more. John is so selfish. Every freaking day he makes sure he has some time for himself. Even on Thursday, so he didn't miss working out he brought the girls to me at work at 4pm. Tonight, I have been home all day while he is working (which, with these two girls, working is sometimes a vacation) he comes home and it is the fantasy football party - I want to go to dinner, his compromise was let's go haev a few and then go to dinner.....NO I didn't want to go. So he went. and thinks we will go out to dinner around 9 when he gets home.

I am so frustated. I take and pick up the girls...he never offers, I have to beg him to do it. Next week softball starts and I said look I need me time, so he offered to pick them up T and T when he will then turn around and play softball so he can still work out m and f and close w....gee way to make it to his advantage.

We had such a great time at the monster truck show! Well, I did....Tyler, not so much. For some reason I couldn't figure out what setting to use on my camera, so pictures came out too dark, I did video clips instead. The jet-engine "crazy-boy" recliner was there again! And they also had a jet-engine golf car too! Megasaurus was awesome, as always. He chomped up a car pretty good and then ripped it in half.

It was too loud. Because of his sensory issues, sometimes he can't tolerate loud stuff, even gym class is rough sometimes because of how voices echo in there. BUT, sometimes he's just fine, so I'm not sure why it's so unpredictable. The last 2 years he was fine with the trucks, this time was rough for some reason. He kept asking if he could "take a break" about every 15 minutes, and we'd have to go stand in the lobby for about 5 minutes and then he could go back in to watch more. It's a bummer because he had really been looking forward to it. When I picked him up from his dad's, he was excitedly telling his dad and stepmom about all the cool things he'd see that he remembered from last year, so it's not that he didn't want to be there. I think he'll like watching the video clips from my camera tomorrow since there's no sound.

NO! we aren't going on the MAY cruise....I booked the MARCH 28th cruise, but now we have decided NOT to go at all, instead we will spend that money on our trip to England in June. Gotta buy airfare yet. Our friends keep telling me that Virgin Atlantic is going to have a sale soon, so I've been watching.

Ohhhh we're so jealous of your trip... when are you going and are you staying at Marilyn's house??? I hear they have room from May into June...

I'm almost as excited as Michelle must be when she manages to get to sleep at night.

Hey, something funky is going on again with the posts. Ian's question to me about the weather is on this page, but my response to him is on the previous page, BEFORE his post.

The gasman has come and gone. I guess we're good for another 20 years.

I really think some people add "friends" just for the sake of getting more and more "friends" on their list. I have a few that I went to high school with that sent me a friend request, but I don't remember having much more of a conversation with other than "can I borrow your eraser". I accepted their request simply because - well I didn't really care and if they want to look like they have lots of friends, then so be it. No skin off my back. But I do get a chuckle when I get a request from someone I barely remember or were simply a face in the crowd in the grad photo ...

We had only 122 people in my class... we spent 13 years together... we all knew each other... and by Graduation... we all wanted out...

That puts a ridiculous picture in my head, of a row of people hooked up to machines, keeping the gas lines full of people's gas I think I should have slept longer.

disappointment morning here....Paul's mom called yesterday and made a date with Molly for a beading class for this morning. Well she called about an hour ago and told me that she didn't know where Dick (FIL) went and we'd have to do it again another day. I suspect she had been drinking, as it sounded so in her voice. Molly of course was let down again. I had to call Paul to tell him (he is working at a coffee shop) and he is mad and wants to confront her, but it's a lost cause. I'm thinking that I might start keeping a log, so that everyone (well us at least) can see how often she agrees to stuff, even creates events and then fails to come for them...so sad and hard to explain to a child

Oh Nan... Please send Miss Molly a few of these... & tell her I'd never back out on her, but hey... I'm just an honorary Aunt...

I asked her if she was sad and she said, nope, she nevers expects Grandma to come thru with what she says. Such a sad thing for a kid to feel. It makes me so sad and mad at MIL

At least she knows where it's coming from... I know it's tough... but it's a life lesson she's had to learn. It is good though that you and Paul are so great with the kids...
