I think it helps so much to be able to chat about it, and we are all very unthreatening here. There are also some very wise folk in our group.

I had visitor this afternoon as it was two ladies from the church...

they don't know what exactly happened but they said after 45 mins Olivia and the girl called Brittany? started clash and Olivia kicked her then she punched her face...

They told me that Olivia and her had been banning for a week (every Thursday) so I told them that i don't think Olivia will be return after one week...

They said aww Olivia is a nice girl and they think it is a shame...

So I have not see Olivia today until tonight after my work...

Ian and I with Olivia had a good talking tonight... She was bursting tears...

I put her bed early night and she finally had a good sleep...

I phoned densist and Ian will take her on Monday to check it...

Will let you know..

What a day today ... now I try to relaxing and

tom I will meet my three ladies friend for coffee...

I think and pray about this all the time.

Gaylean, I have always worked and always been the "bread winner" in our family. Ministers just don't make enough money to live on....I used to beg Don to help me with home stuff.....it just never seemed fair that I had to work 70 hours a week and take care of all of the home stuff. I started to hate Don for a while.

As I got older, it seemed not to matter as much. We started getting along so much better when I got over the anger stuff. I also made Don quit the Country Club so I could hire a "wife". That is why I have help every Friday to help me with the laundry and clean my house.

Don will not pay any bills either. He told me if I die, he could care less if the house payments get made. My best friend knows where all my checks are, all of my bills, she will pay all my bills for me.

I am sure Don would soon take over everything if he had to. Fortunately now the children are all older too now.

I've been so busy trying to finalize everything for the April cruise that I've been missing from here at night too...got my mileage ticket today - flying into Heathrow after flying all day (I leave Orlando at 545AM , change planes in Washington Dulles (Lisa - I'll wave to you) then into London at 10pm) It was the only mileage space available, not really what I wanted but I'll deal

Super Nanny for husbands......if they don't do their share, they have to sit on the "naughty step" with no TV or beer! Super Husband Nanny would whip them into shape in no time!!!!!

Well Wife Swap more often than not has a new 'wife' making the lazy husband do more. I think that is the funniest thing about the programme.

I didn't get good sleep, I woke up at 3 am and had a glass of water... back to bed, try to sleep bit struggle then got good sleep... Got up at 9.30 am..

Olivia is a good mood today and she made her bed and gave me a hug...

Deborah, we're all here for each other, especially for each others' kids. It's sort of like the kids of everybody here are "our" kids. Hard to explain, but there's just lots of love going on here in this group.

My brother in law arrived Canada safe last Wednesday...He had the interview last Thursday... I don't know if he got it or not... but he have another one next week...

My father in law was moaning me about dollars...

I said that we are going on cruise next year, he said nothing??

He is right about dollars get worst now down down down...

Ian and I are a bit concern about it as what if it go down by 1.00??

We are saving and hold the pounds, not exchange dollars yet...

Here I am, taking the girls to school, picking them up, making sure Haley has a sheet and blanket, Samantha has her homework, taking care of the laundry and housework, the dogs too and John, gets up goes to work and then goes and works out after work. He's nto home until 6:30 and by then I am ready to sit down not go to the Y. Now softball is coming up which will be 2 nights a week and some nights not home until 11. I used to be so resentful and it was eating me up...now I just book cruises and plan stuff I want to do. It is the only thing keeping me sane!

My daughter has your life(though not in such a great place) and with 2 more children. Her husband, whilst fantastic with the children, does nothing around the home to help her. She does all the homework organising, hearing them read, spellings, times tables, music practice etc etc. She fetches and carries them where then need to go. Peter gets up, off to work, gets home then sits!!

As I am older than you guys, I got caught up in the "have it all" mentality sold to us from the women's movement in the 70's.

I educated myself and sought my way up the ladder of business. I was very successful, but miserable. After Annie was born, 15 years ago, I decided I was done with the "ladder climb" but I (we) were stuck because Don had chosen what he wanted to do based on what he wanted to do and not income.

The only out I had was straight commission. If I were successful in sales, I could get out of the management track and still make enough for us to live on.

It turns out, it was the best decision of my life. I worked like crazy for the the first few years, but I have certainly reaped the benefits over the last few years.

My company has been sold 8 times now and I have never been laid off. Staples now "owns" me .... who knows what is next????

I have been invited to meet the President of Staples next Wednesday. Should be interesting.
