I don't think there is much there to see...sorry....Perhaps stop in Portland which is before it????
au contair, I think staying home with children not in school is the hardest job in the world. Just that now mine are in school lots of the day time and I'm not very productive during that time, hence my need to find a way to contribute more. If I cleaned the house and did laundry and cooked so that none of that had to be done in the evening hours I think I would feel like I was working just as hard as when I had a "job" but I'm just not that happy homemaker. As Paul is doing laundry as we speakI just want to find a job that is totally flexible so that I can pick up my kids and stay home if they are sick and that will pay me a decent amount of money for the effort. I just don't think I can find that perfect job without the stress I had before of having my own client load. It's a no win situtation...Either I change my desires, for travel and luxury and stay home or go back to work and have the stress. It is also stressful not knowing if Paul's work will continue or not, so I tend to think that me working will make that lessen. Who knows....

Not really worried about the sites to see. We are going to get in there pretty late and then we are going to want to get up pretty early so we can get into Anaheim a mere 10 hours later.
I was just really curious if I had to drive off the interstate much to get an ok motel and if anyone knew if there was a quick place to grab a bite nearby there (for both in the morning and late night).
This trip is going to be a fast drive and not much sightseeing going on. Race to Anaheim. Spend time in DL. Do a Dismeet. Go to Seaworld. Race home for work.
Not going to be relaxing at all...
I'm just looking at spot to stop and grab a hotel for a nights sleep then get up and go to DL, and hopefully arrive at supper time.
Its tough to find something that fits all your wants. You will figure this out!

Anybody ever seen the movie "Stuck"? I rented 3 tonight and that's one. It's really weird. A drunk driving chick hits a guy walking and he's stuck in her windshield, so she drives home and leaves him there in her garage, stuck in her car.
ah ha, then it should be fine. and thanks![]()
as abovedrink lots of caffine, you said you aren't coffee drinkers right????
Never heard of it, but that was a storyline in a CSI episode once. Weird.
Good then come on up tomorrow!

And I like to see everyone checking in, that way I know who is here and accounted for![]()
sucess can be measured many different ways, no? And part of my way is to have vacations, which are hard to do on one income....so not sure that not working works for us.
almost anywhere would be morethan here today (except Chicago, Lansing, and Albany!)
So Shannon wants us to spend our first night on the road in Yreka, CA.
Any insights from the CA group?
It is apparently ONLY 16 hours from our house.

Are you smarter than a 5th grader...
The question:
What US state is home to Niagara Falls?
Shannon: Ohio. Well Chicago is near the Great Lakes and Chicago is in Ohio.

And to think she has even been in the right state ...
It was probably the state that gave me a speeding ticket, and I've blocked the name out of mind forever![]()
Jon says NY![]()
