I like to walk that line every day, sometimes I do it with my imaginary friends....
You are so silly.
Do you recall that I admired your watch while we waited away the time together for Toy Story??? We it made such an impression on me (the watch lover that I am) that I decided to indungle myself with such watch. I looked it at often on the Disney website but waited until that last moment to place my order...I got the watch at a steal of a price as an Xmas gift to myself. It came...it was the wrong watch!!!! It was the watch in the ladies size, which while beautiful, was so darn small that I couldn't read it

The quest for the readable watch continued....I chose to wear my two places at once watch (mickey on the bottom and steamboat willie on the top, perfect for travelling in time, or to another time zone. A prior Xmas gift to myself from our first cruise 2005) I wore such watch on this trip, but darn it, couldn't see the numbers to know what time it was...THEN the unthinkable the battery died!!!! I had to get a new watch. We searched high and low for the perfect fit. Ended on a digital mickey one. Not my first choice, but what I could see. I couldn't set the time myself, fortunately a DISers teenage son did it for me while we were cruising. Just you think this story should end. NOPE...there is more. While travelling to China with my mom in the summer of 2006, she and my sister scammpered off to the SWATCH store at the Beijing airport, mom comes back with THE WATCH!!! Easy to read, colored in many stripes, perfect for any outfit. (except formal, of course because time stands still when those around you are in tuxes)Since that purchase my mother and I have an on going tease about her giving me that watch. She tells me she can have it when she is dead. I threaten to steal it. And so on. Of course going to the mall and getting the same watch would be no fun for me. I've even been and tried it on, but I have told myself I have to wait for my moms, that will be what I inherit from her hopefully many years from now. Back to the story...while waiting for our flight out of MCO Paul wandered with the kids and came back, Willie and I then wandered off, she said to me, "how do you like your watch?" "what watch?" I reply...oops cat outta the bag. We make it back and unveiled Paul and the kids (molly spotted it I hear) got me the same SWATCH as my mom. I put it on and ever since when my mother sees it, she freaks out (you know she has lost her sense of memory) she thinks I stole her watch!!!!
All that to tell you I have a new timepiece too. And I love it. And it is special for sooooooo many reasons. For me a watch is a quest. Much like a holy grail. When you find the right one, such satisfaction.
