AHHH---I thought we were talking about 2010 :p

Well, there will be a Sept 2010 opportunity in Phoenix. Could be one in Chicago for the spring....as I'm betting Cheri will end up doing BOTH trans atlantic cruises!

OK....really heading home now......

.

I am back on page 214--life is getting in the way of DISing.

Waiting at the home of a client who is not here-- I have to give them 15 minutes....

So, I don't know if anyone said it, but,

DEB--do you have a Blackberry? Can you get one?

You could DIS while lying down with a Blackberry and it is lighter than a book to hold. Besides that, we are more interesting than TV and you would have friends to chat with 24/7.
??

Good idea Jan.....but not going to work for me since I have to lay on my stomach not on my back. I can't lay on my back because the wounds are on the back of the calves and it hurts too much to put any weight on them. It's awkward because of where the wounds are. Thanks for thinking about it for me. And yes, I do agree that you all are much more interesting than TV.:flower3:

There's a Chicago opportunity in September.

I popped on to read a couple more old pages while dinner is finishing cooking.

I'm thirsty and my mouth is really dry.

Oh and they asked me to stay on at this job until Monday. I really like this job. It is Jr High or middle school or ages 11 to 14. I know everyone calls it something different. I can relate to them better than the little ones. I just don't like tying shoes and hearing tattling all day long.

That's great that you're getting jobs you like! Tattling drives me crazy, almost as crazy as whining!

I figured as much :sad2:

BTW, I just turned the air conditioner on

Oh sure rub it in! Well, guess what I turned on the air conditioner yesterday and today! But only at work because the heat/cool system for the lab has gone insane. It keeps warming up to 90F :scared1:

Now I must feed my children (and me!) :lmao:

Holly...

They just announced that there is a possibility that they will open up more dates/availability for the 4/3 promotion... so give it a try and see if you can get a good deal... good luck!!! Don't you think Tyler would like any of the value resorts?

I received an e-mail from my TA today saying that's been extended through summer. I've already sent an email to be added to their list. The prices will be released on Monday and that's they day the TA will try to book people on the waitlist. They could only give an estimate: $61/person /night at the moderate price resorts. If I do that, I'll probably have to go without our friends because she says she could never spend $500 for the week. Um, she's out of luck then! Fortunately, I didn't ever tell Tyler about the possibility of them coming.

Sorry, but Deb's lying down right now - we will forward your suggestion to her when she is allowed to get up... around midnight I hear...

I'm trying to catch up before I have to go back down again....so I got the suggestion and although it's a good one, it won't work for me.:confused3

I like to walk that line every day, sometimes I do it with my imaginary friends....

You are so silly.

Do you recall that I admired your watch while we waited away the time together for Toy Story??? We it made such an impression on me (the watch lover that I am) that I decided to indungle myself with such watch. I looked it at often on the Disney website but waited until that last moment to place my order...I got the watch at a steal of a price as an Xmas gift to myself. It came...it was the wrong watch!!!! It was the watch in the ladies size, which while beautiful, was so darn small that I couldn't read it  The quest for the readable watch continued....I chose to wear my two places at once watch (mickey on the bottom and steamboat willie on the top, perfect for travelling in time, or to another time zone. A prior Xmas gift to myself from our first cruise 2005) I wore such watch on this trip, but darn it, couldn't see the numbers to know what time it was...THEN the unthinkable the battery died!!!! I had to get a new watch. We searched high and low for the perfect fit. Ended on a digital mickey one. Not my first choice, but what I could see. I couldn't set the time myself, fortunately a DISers teenage son did it for me while we were cruising. Just you think this story should end. NOPE...there is more. While travelling to China with my mom in the summer of 2006, she and my sister scammpered off to the SWATCH store at the Beijing airport, mom comes back with THE WATCH!!! Easy to read, colored in many stripes, perfect for any outfit. (except formal, of course because time stands still when those around you are in tuxes)Since that purchase my mother and I have an on going tease about her giving me that watch. She tells me she can have it when she is dead. I threaten to steal it. And so on. Of course going to the mall and getting the same watch would be no fun for me. I've even been and tried it on, but I have told myself I have to wait for my moms, that will be what I inherit from her hopefully many years from now. Back to the story...while waiting for our flight out of MCO Paul wandered with the kids and came back, Willie and I then wandered off, she said to me, "how do you like your watch?" "what watch?" I reply...oops cat outta the bag. We make it back and unveiled Paul and the kids (molly spotted it I hear) got me the same SWATCH as my mom. I put it on and ever since when my mother sees it, she freaks out (you know she has lost her sense of memory) she thinks I stole her watch!!!!

All that to tell you I have a new timepiece too. And I love it. And it is special for sooooooo many reasons. For me a watch is a quest. Much like a holy grail. When you find the right one, such satisfaction.:p

You know I love watches too (and clocks as well).

I agree, shopping for a watch is quest and it not to be taken lightly. A watch has to "speak" to me.

We have to get you one of those massage tables with the place to stick your face so you can breath... and Dis...

There's a Chicago opportunity in September.

I'm still trying to go - Not like mom wouldn't leave me behind and cruise with you...

Tell her tickets alone will cost her alot... price it out... see what you can come up with...

See above...

OH MY GOSH, SURVIVOR STARTS NEXT THURSDAY!!!!
I hope I don't forget.

We'll remind you.....TVGuide channel had a preview to the new season.....it looks very interesting....new things added and some good and not so good people....which I love. It should be a good season.:flower3:

This is great news, Deb! :thumbsup2 Way to go! Keep up the good work! :goodvibes

I will if you will.....and I will even if you don't. I don't have a choice here. I have to get these legs healed. No slacking here.

You too. You're doing great. It's only for 30 days, you can do it!:cheer2:

:wave2: Holly & Deb!

Michelle - I was asking about the WBTA dates not the EB....:lmao:

Hi Monica. Hope your day was a good one.

Now I'm totally confused. I thought Ian was on the EB and Peg was on the WB. Am I wrong? If not then you could do both.

Well, we were discussing that time this September when you ALREADY have plans (with US!). However, there will be some opportunities for 2010. ::yes::

I KNEW he wasn't dead! Looking forward to next week...I wonder how Ben will 'prove' to her that Jin is alive. You know, I think I've been assuming that Ben hasn't been to the island in the three years...but I don't know why I thought that. :confused3 There could be LOTS of stuff that has gone on there in that time. I sure hope they haven't been 'time jumping' for three solid years! :upsidedow

Well, my boss took us to lunch today, so I've been sitting here at work catching up on the DIS and eating the lunch I brought as my dinner. It's after seven now and I should be heading for the hills.......

.

SPOILERS....Shannon and Jackie......I recorded it and have not seen it yet. But thanks for the heads up.

btw, I love that Penny's baby's name is Charlie....but remember that her daddy's name is Charles....so there's a double meaning again.:wave2:

Deb....good job working on you legs. I know how difficult it can be to just lie there. :grouphug:

Thanks Jackie. The hardest part is the back pain and the fact that I can't breath with my sinus problems. That's why I have to do it in intervals. But at least it's working. Thank goodness.

Holly, good job with the workouts. I was proud of myself yesterday for just taking a five minute break and walking around the office. :rotfl2: I've got to get 'in training' for my Chicago visit....city folk WALK a lot!

.

Jackie, you can do it too. It's good that you got started. Now add a little more each day.

A gazillion DISers! Actually, someone from every cruise I've been on will be on that one! And you KNOW WOODY WILL BE THERE! :lmao:

.

Oh, I'm so glad. I thought there were more people on the EB crossing. So glad that you'll get to see many different DISer friends....and of course Woody and Mrs. Woody.:goodvibes

OK I'm all caught up and I'm going back down. It's been fun chatting with you all again. I miss you when I can't be here.:guilty: :guilty:

Tell her tickets alone will cost her alot... price it out... see what you can come up with...
Already ahead of you. When I forwarded her the e-mail from my TA, I told her I know it's more than she wanted to spend, but that it includes tickets to WDW (one park per day), and I told her it's about $400-ish for 4 days admission for her and her daughter alone. I'm regretting asking them to join us. :guilty:

Well, if I see results at 30 days, I'd want to continue long-term, just on a less extreme level. :thumbsup2 And then I'd also focus on eating better.

Have to get up in less than 7 hours. Goodnight all! :cloud9:
