Ian - how's Sukie's hip doing? Did he recuperate from hitting the car?

I think he's OK, but is sort of gave me a scare.

So what did he do the next day when we went out?

He wouldn't get in the car in the garage and went and stood out under the tracks! The same thing as the day before!

Good Morning!

Well, we were supposed to have a really big storm yesterday and it missed Chicago. It hit northwest Indiana, and they got 19 inches dumped on them.

I looked at Mrs Bennett this morning and it will be 47F on Friday and 51F on Saturday! Perhaps I should plan time time outside.

But you should be getting the first signs of spring in about 5 weeks.

We don't really have spring in Chicago. It warms up into the upper 40'sF then suddenly turns hot.

Oh, forgot. Tyler's Mickey glasses broke already. :sad2: His dad was cleaning around the nose pad thingies and one broke right off and the glasses store couldn't fix it. So he picked out new glasses yesterday and he told me he wants to try something totally different. All his pairs of glasses have been blue or bluish-gray so far, and sort of rectangle shaped lenses. He told me he picked those because blue is his favorite color and he thought the glasses matched his eyes. ;) Well, this time he chose sort of a gold/light brown color frames, and the lenses are more round. I wasn't sure about it until he tried them on and I actually think they look OK. They make him look a lot different, so I'll post a picture when he gets them. It will take about 2 weeks for them to come in.

:yay: So glad to read that Tyler is doing well at the new school. I am back on page 205 so hope that is still correct. :cheer2:

Also nice that the glasses broke when his Dad was cleaning them, not when Tyler had them. He would blame himself I bet and feel really bad about it if they broke when he had them. :guilty:

Deb - did you make it to the 5 hr mark?

Those who rqsted the DL stuff - hope you were able to open them :-)

:thumbsup2 Wonder if they'll have similar deals in early November. I'm trying to drag everyone I know to DL for my birthday. Told my General Manager he'd have to close the business offices early that Friday because we are all driving to Disneyland! :lmao:

Oh my you were the cutest baby I've ever seen. Why did your mom give you a mohawk :rotfl2:

Tyler picked out a box of Valentines today for school next week and it was very sad because he loved a box of Mickey & Friends ones, but told me he can't get those because all the kids would laugh at him. :sad2: He told me all the kids hate Mickey, so he picked superheroes. I can't imagine any 6 year old who doesn't like Mickey! :sad2:

Oh my kids would never pick Mickey Mouse for anything. It isn't cool :scared1:

We fly to Mexico way before zero. That is our spring break spot so it's about 70 here :rotfl2:

Off to work. I have another full day. I can't wait to get my check but this is killing me.

Very cute. Do you remember your sister holding you? :rotfl2:

No but I remember her putting me in the red wagon, on the top of the slide - where she was going to let me go down the slide (in the wagon) if the neighbor hadn't screamed her head off and made my mother run down 2 flights of stairs to stop her :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Have a great day at work.:grouphug:
