::yes::You are right again Marilyn. The wording was a group effort. I think the guy is Steve. He posted some words on Cheri (and John's) picture, some wording changes were suggested, the result got a lot of positive press so it is up on page 1.

I did not know John had a hand in it, I only knew Cheri posted it over there first. No intent to slight anyone.

Speaking of John, does anyone know how Deb is doing?

I am DISing on my Raspberry at Starbucks with a Java Chip Frappachino !! YUM!! THANKS for the suggestion MONICA!!

Jan :earsgirl:

Sorry Jan, didn't mean to sound off with the post!! I don't know where John got the original from, but it is a great picture. I really love it.

I have been wondering about deb. sometimes if she is feeling poorly or down she reads but doesn't post, so perhaps she will see this and let us know how she is.

Marilyn

Are you planning to go to LA in May 09?

then go to Florida in September 09.

Did you checked the flights?

I think everything go up higher now as the house around here are on market since last March and all of it turn to fixed price.

My boss couldn't sell his flat as he is leaving next weekend, move back to Glasgow. He is thinking to rent out his flat.

Seem house market turn worst nowaday.:scared1: :scared1:

Foods and petrol go up more expensive. :sad2:

I wonder what about USA?

Sorry, I have nothing exciting to say today! ;)

Summer is finally here. It was 90 yesterday, 90 today, and supposed to be 91 tomorrow and the next day. I know that's nothing for you, but here, people pass out. The air conditioner wasn't working well at school yesterday when I picked up Tyler and you should have seen those sweaty, pale kids! I was there for 5 min and wanted to pass out. I don't handle heat well.....never did. Even passed out a few times in my life from heat.

I read the exciting stuff just had nothing to add!

it helps if you remember the conversations...I was referencing a bit that Lisa (dlvr)spoke of when her daughter thought she would be a cashier. I'm sure that Lisa (calmom) knew that ;) Did you remember the whole story?

I remember the whole story, I'm not as dumb as I make myself out to be ;)

Sounds about the same here. Most of our friends that paid $500,000 for their houses are sorry now since they can't sell them and they are worth $200,000 less now. And forget about refinancing or getting a second if you need repairs because the appraisals aren't coming in high enough.

Just got an offer on my mom's house. Not a very good offer, so we are countering. I hope it sells, but don't have much hope.

I don't know why, but I keep having this strange nightmare where I am wearing pink . . . strange . . .

John... I swear in my pain meds induced sleep... I had a dream about you in Bedazzled Spanx... ;)

So I am LOA for awhile, and things don't change....still got a little smartie here!

I know that was your way of saying you love me   :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Send her a big bag Lisa and she'll make you Royal... oh... wait... you are...princess:

How many miles away is it? Michelle, do you think they can hear me from here with the Rocky Mountains in the way?

Jan :earsgirl:

I'd suggest screaming into the wind... or send a letter... stamps... they still use them, right??? :confused3

Ohhhhhhh :goodvibes You did indeed!! ;) LOVE IT!! :cool1: (this is the Cabo dance)

Jan :earsgirl:

I'll go see if I can find you another dance...

:confused3 Can we really DO that? I want one too!!

Jan :earsgirl:

I've decided size 7 1/2 shoes also... then I can borrow all my nieces cool shoes:hippie:

Yup, the bills for his shrink are killing us:rotfl:

Jan :earsgirl:

Scottishwee35

So??? What did you guys talk about????

& if you're going to watch the movie..you have to watch the 6 other seasons of the show too!!!

Deborah, New York is a great place to meet friends. Be sure to leave room in your suitcase for shopping.

I don't know if Woody will be in NY, but I will!!! :goodvibes (I'm already there... a couple of hours... but I'm NY...)

It's truly amazing! I really could jump if I wanted to, with no pounding in my head! :dance3:

Don't jump too high... you might hit your head and then it would hurt again...:rotfl2:

Just got an offer on my mom's house. Not a very good offer, so we are countering. I hope it sells, but don't have much hope.

Counter baby!!!

Don't you watch Property Virgins????

I try to do that alot... :rolleyes1

Better but not gone... this one took me down...

I'm even missing the Pig racing at the Saratoga County Fair...:headache:

Guess what....I have a friend that is suppose to be on the Magic this Sunday but her husband has kidney stones and doctor said they can't go unless he passes them :scared:

Make some sangria and offer it to them ;) I just thought about that because I am buying all the stuff to make some for our trip this weekend.

I have prepared a counter, but this is not the typical home buyer situtation. This is a vacation place and the market tanked, so I'm nervous about not taking what's offered, as it could be years before we get another offer. kinda having revisions of the dotcom bubble burst and we lost a ton in the stock market.

her house is 5.5 hours from us, but maybe I'll make some and drink myself into a better place ;)

Wow, Jan -- I should have searched the Disboards. Who knew there would be a Rialta for sale here? :confused3

We just completed a 4000 mile roadtrip across the western states with my folks in their Rialta. Covered Yellowstone, Zion and Rocky Mountain National Parks along with with Mt. Rushmore, Homestead Crater and few other wonders. (It was like taking a "land cruise!") It was a great trip and the Rialta proved to be an exceptional travel vehicle ... even at 12,000 ft crossing the Rockies.

We were so impressed by the vehicle that we started looking for our own. Never thought to search Disboards! We ended up buying a LeSharo with converted Chrysler engine and tranny instead. We pick it up the first weekend in August and will drive it home from Seattle area -- can't wait!

Of course that leaves me having to sell our 32' class A. Anyone interested? :rotfl:

I'd sell you mine.

21 foot long Winebago RIALTA, gets 16 miles to the gallon, can climb mountains, has a trailer hitch to pull the race car trailer. It has a double bed, seat belts for three, little refrigerator, two burner gas stove, microwave, bathroom almost as big as a catgegory 11 on the MAGIC. It can park in a normal parking space at a shopping center and handles really well. Feels like you are driving the family van or SUV not a truck. We love it, but we only used it two weekends last year. It needs a home with someone who will not just love it but also use it.

Anyone interested?

Call him and tell him to drink 4 oz of lemon juice and 3 oz of olive oil... Mix them together... it's sort of gross - follow up with a full glass of cold water... (I used seltzer with lime however to cut the oily feeling in my mouth...) I've done it twice and it works... not sure if it will be in time... but I'd tell him to try...

Well, do your best... I have faith in you... So where is this vacation place???

That sounds even better :drinking1 I'm sure it is stressful in this market but the liquor should help!

And a bag of Smarties...
