Happy Monday everyone. After a very emotional long and not so fun weekend with the IL's I am back! Never thought I would be so happy to get home and back to work. Over the last 15 years with Scott this was by far the worst experience with his family ever, and I am not sure it will get any better. Oh well....I have lots of "family" elsewhere so I am good! As the saying goes you can choose your friends not your family and I am very happy with my friends!!! (I'll use Nan's favorite guy there!)

I am too far behind to catch up, so I'll start from here and hope everyone had a great weekend.

Well I can only say that it can have absolutely nothing to do with you - they must just be horrible people. You would be the loveliest daughter in law out there.

Good Morning Thieves! We got home on Sunday after our 4th of July getaway. I didn't feel 100%.....had a tummy thing going on.....so I never got back to Bethany Beach to see Lisa. At least I got to do the fireworks and I'll see Lisa some other time. She will be at the beach all summer on weekends.....we'll have other opportunities.

My brother just got off a ship in Baltimore and is here for a day or two. He wants to clean out his shed. Then he's heading back to Jacksonville. He has another short term job lined up down there. That's where he wants to be permanently, but economically that's not possible at the moment. So he'll take what he can get until it turns around.

Now there's no place to go until September when we do WDW late Sept/early Oct. Today I will call Kat and get the dates worked out. Since she lives in Tucson, I'll have to wait a bit because of the time difference.

I hate when I don't have any trips to plan. That's what gets me into trouble. I've been looking at flights to see if I could make it to The Wedding on Sept 4th and give up going to World. So I keep checking the flights and can't find anything less than $800 and we have to jump through hoops to get that price. John hates flying and I hate airports so most likely we won't be able to make The Wedding. So sad. I really want to be there for the occasion. I'll keep checking for airline deals.

I laid in bed and felt it throbbing all night. Appt. is at 1pm, but they told me to be there 1/2 hour early and said to plan on being there at least 3 hours.

It was great!! In San Diego - for the moment. Heading to FL to look for a place to live tomorrow.

Lisa...is Darrell in the navy? Scott's bro is stationed in Jacksonville right now, but will be heading to San Diego in Feb....guess you guys are switching places, LOL! But, if you can believe it, he can't stand anything disney!!!! probably the reason I have such an issue with him

Not in but works for the Navy - Civilian employee. Luckily we both love Disney so these were/are good locations for us.

I watched the second show after the rose, just to find out what everyone was talking about.Then I couldn't remember which guy you guys liked better. I had a feeling it was the first guys with the kid. ????

I would have never gotten that in a million years... not a football watcher. Since I study the brain 24 hours a day I can't watch sports with so many brain injuries. My favorite quote from my favorite brain researcher is "Ping Pong is a great sport for reducing brain injury!"

The show she (& Wilson) are doing Music Man opens on her bday July 23rd. We have 18 front row seats (1st row of 9 are girl friends) next row of 9 are family. We will sing Happy Birthday at intermission or something like that and then the girls come back here for the slumber party, then breakfast out in the morning & I drop them all at home (that is my plan to get them outta the house the next day)

Wilson fortunately for him, will be going over a friends house to sleep that night after the show.

I have been playing with where I'm going to go next year for my 40th...

Am looking at:
Mexico - Dreams Tulum (all inclusive)
Curacao - Breezes (all inclusive)
Turks & Caicos - Beaches, Sibonne, or if I can trade timeshare The Alexandra (only Beaches is All inclusive)

Any thoughts, anyone???

I can't look at flights yet (too early) but I wouldn't mind putting down a deposit for the hotel sooner vs later.

Can you tell I don't want to focus on my normal everyday life???

They all sound wonderful! Haven't been to Curacao; I did a live-aboard trip in Turks and Caicos years ago but we were on the dive boat for the whole week so I can't comment on the land/beaches. The diving was great, however.

I got a lot of stuff out of my house, garage and storage....

Just checking in to say that I'm still cleaning out closets and drawers. It's going slowly, but I haven't given up! I'm doing really well, for me!

All I get is the top of the palm tree... oh well... those bug thingies freaked me out when they were going around...

Way back when you all were first using those, the first time I saw them I really thought there was a bug inside my monitor!!! When I'm on the computer at night I have these little things that fly around and land on my screen and I thought that one had somehow gotten inside my screen! I'm such a dork!
