Has anyone had any luck hearing from SAS transportation? I've filled out their form twice in the last week and heard NADA.

We have a confirmation email and a contact # to call when we arrive. It took a few days & went into my junk mail. With the sequestration, I hope our 4.30 flight is not delayed so that we miss the last SAS shuttle.

I got a confirmation email (reservation) and had questions. I sent an email back and did not hear from them. I called three times and got the "refer to our website message" each time. Last Friday I called early in the morning and got my questions answered by phone. Turns out one day the office was closed and the other two calls were after hours (as I am on the westcoast).

Try the phone number if email doesn't work.
 
Yes you are correct. The Federal Agency that controls our sky's, the FAA, has mandated that every two weeks x amount of controllers take a mandatory day off without pay. So with less eyes watching the sky delays will happen. That's why I sent out my post. It's not the airlines fault most likely that a flight is delayed these days it's the governments fault. That's why I was asking people to stay calm and not take the frustration on the poor front line people. I saw enough of that yesterday. One was so bad they had to call Airport police.

We do seem to take our frustrations out on the first available person, whether they have anything to do with the problem or not, don't we? Knowing what the problem is early on usually helps but there are always going to be those who are just plain rude, or worse. We have watched many of those TV programmes about airlines or airports and are astounded at the behaviour of some passengers. Some of course are all on edge with nerves etc and only need something small to set them off, but usually they are just plain nasty people. I think a presence of the Airport police around would be a good thing just now.

We have similar problems over here with the cut backs everywhere and of course in Government run areas. I suppose it has to be done somehow and without getting all political because I am not a political being, sometimes we have to accept that or worse problems might follow. If only we could all wave magic want back to before the big problem started and sort things out then, but we can't.

I will just keep my mind on the reason for our flights etc and enjoy it all. We are very blessed to be able to travel in these times.

I;m worried about the same thing.....we land at 4:45pm on Sunday and since we are coming through Atlanta, (they had 3 hours delay yesterday) who knows when we will get to FLL.

Each private car service I called works the same, limited hours as SAS - or has HORRIBLE reviews. I think I'll call SAS to ask their opinion - if I can reach them:confused3

If only I could win the lottery before the cruise...a private jet to the Walt Disney Suite would be great:):):)

We got our assignment sometime between 8a and lunchtime today - we're Deck six, starboard aft-ish... was hoping for a bit more midship, but not complaining too much!
 
We got ours sometime between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. Deck 7 mid-ship.
 
Our stateroom is 6128. Port, right by the aft elevators. It would appear this is an upgrade from the 7A - navigator verandah we paid for to a 5C verandah! :cool1: Our friends traveling with us are right next door in 6126. :goodvibes
 
Just called today, and they've updated the list of films playing at the Buena Vista Theater for the WBPC Cruise aboard the Disney Wonder.

Just saw ours - 7518 - a little closer to the elevator lobby than I'd like, but we'll cope just fine!
 
We have stateroom 7046 right near the mid ship elevators. I'm really happy with it! :thumbsup2... so can we leave now? like right now? cause I wana!!!!!! :cool1:
